Procedure of Barometer Setting in Flight with On-board Navigation Data alone (자체 항법 정보만을 이용한 비행 중 기압 고도계 설정 방법)

  • In GPS/INS/barometer navigation system for UAV, two procedures were proposed in order to set three reference parameters for the pressure altitude of QNH or QFE settings, using the navigation data from on-board system alone. These procedures yield required the reference parameters through mathematical process with the altitude and the atmosphere properties measured for a short duration of flight, of which a special pattern is requested according to the selected procedure. Dependency only upon the on-board navigation data can eliminate a requirement for the atmospheric measurement system in the ground support system and can expand a flight boundary to a remote area where the ground support is not available. Especially the procedure with the regression method uses altitude and pressure but temperature to produce the three reference parameters. No need of temperature measurement for the pressure altitude system can simplify the on-board air data system.

Study on Static Pressure Error Model for Pressure Altitude Correction (기압 고도의 정밀도 향상을 위한 정압 오차 모델에 관한 연구)

  • In GPS/INS/barometer navigation system for UAV, vertical channel damping loop was introduced to suppress divergence of the vertical axis error of INS, which could be reduced to the level of accuracy of pressure altitude measured by a pitot-static tube. Because static pressure measured by the pitot-static tube depends on the speed and attitude of the vehicle, static pressure error models, based on aerodynamic data from wind tunnel test, CFD analysis, and flight test, were applied to reduce the error of pressure altitude. Through flight tests and sensitivity analyses, the error model using the ratio of differential pressure and static pressure turned out to be superior to the model using only differential pressure, especially in case of high altitude flight. Both models were proposed to compensate the effect of vehicle speed change and used differential and static pressure which could be obtained directly from the output of pressure transducer.

W-Band Radar Altimeter for Drones (드론용 W-대역 레이다 고도계)

  • In this study, we propose a W-band frequency modulated continuous wave(FMCW) radar altimeter that can measure the altitude based on the frequency differences of transmitted and received signals. This W-band FMCW system is powered by an altitude control algorithm, which we propose to help prevent collisions of drones with obstacles in real deployment by measuring the relative altitude. It is shown that this algorithm enables the drone to be positioned within a 3 % error of altitude from the desired input height. The chip used in the W-band transmitter and receiver was fabricated using a 65-nm CMOS process, and a horn antenna was directly fed by incorporating an embedded waveguide feeder into the chip. The clutter spectra observed in terrains including soil, grass, and calm lake water were measured and compared, confirming the reflectivity characteristics of various surfaces of different water contents.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the risk factors related to prehypertension in Korean adults. The data were collected from the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2018. The subjects of this study were 3,286 adults aged over 30 years of old. We analyzed risk factors of prehypertension using multiple logistic regression based on complex sample design. The prevalence of prehypertension was 60.8%. As the result, the risk of prehypertension in elderly, current smoking persons, overweight, obesity, hyperlipidemia in triglyceride and HDL cholesterol. And the risk of decreased in health check-up, aerobic physical activity. Therefore, in order to reduce the incidence of prehypertension, it is required to prepare interventions to prevent prehypertension through the adjustment of lifestyle for subjects with risk factors for developing prehypertension.

Development of Automatic Terrain Following Simulator Using Digital Terrain Elevation Data (디지털 지형 고도 데이터를 이용한 자동 지형 추종 시뮬레이터 개발)

  • In this paper, an Automatic Terrain Following (ATF) Simulator using Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED) was proposed. This ATF Simulator consists of a Flight Simulator, a Radar Simulator, and a Terrain Following Computer (TFC) Simulator. DTED and radar scan data generated with DTED were used as the terrain information necessary for terrain following. The ATF Simulator provides three modes of operation: a passive mode that uses DTED, an active mode that uses radar scan data, and a hybrid mode that uses both. We developed an ATF Simulator that could reduce the cost and time required to develop a terrain following system using the LabVIEW development environment and the MATLAB App Designer development environment. It was verified by confirming that the ATF Simulator met all functional requirements.

  • Helicopter-borne FMCW radar altimeter obtains the altitude information using the beat frequency between the transmitted and reflected signal from the nadir direction. However, the altitude error may exist when the strong echoes are received from the large RCS at the off-nadir direction because of the wide beamwidth of the altimeter antenna. In this paper, in order to investigate the effect of the altitude error due to the large RCS around the off-nadir direction, the reflected signals were measured by using the corner reflectors displaced on the several reference ground positions, and the acquired signals were analyzed and compared in the spectral domain. The analysis results can be used for the improvement of the altitude accuracy in the radar altimeter.

고선량율 근접치료의 위험도 분석

  • 목적 : 미국 NRC 의 위험도 평가 방법론(NUREG/CR-6642)에 국내에서 시행되는 고선량율 근접치료의 표준입력 자료를 대입하여 고선량율 근접치료시 위험도를 정량적으로 산출하고 그 값을 비교하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법 : 고선량율 근접치료 시스템에 대한 위험도 평가를 위해 국내에서 고선량율 근접치료를 시행하고 있는 17개 의료기관으로부터 방사성동위원소의 설치와 폐기시의 방사능, 선원의 유형, 연간 총 치료회수 등 기초 자료를 수집하였다. 이로부터 방사성동위원소의 평균세기 연간 치료회수 등을 미국 NRC의 위험도 평가 방법론의 데이터베이스에 입력하여 고선량율 근접치료의 직무별, 피폭인의 종류, 정상상태와 사고 등의 형태에 따라 그 위험도를 구하였다. 결과 : 국내 고선량율 근접치료의 위험도는 미국 NRC의 위험도 평가 방법론에 따른 데이터베이스의 입력 결과 일반인의 정상상태와 사고 그리고 방사선종사자의 정상상태와 사고 시에 따라 그 위험도가 1.52-01, 2.96-03, 8.64-01, 3.32-02 rem/yr로 산출되었고 그 값을 미국 NRC의 값과 비교하였다. 결론 : 고선량율 근접치료 시 미국 NRC의 위험도 결과보다는 국내의 경우 수배 정도 높게 계산되었고 일반인과 방사선종사자, 정상상태와 사고, 직무별 패턴 등은 동일한 것으로 간주된다.

  • In this paper, analyzed of UAVs operation altitude and range from the point of view of the data link. UAVs operation altitude is determined by the specification of the mission equipment and operational purposes. The link-of-sight analysis of data link equipment before deciding the unmanned aircraft operation altitude conditions should be considered. If GDT=0m installation then 32dBi antenna apply 15,779 meter is operation altitude. 44dBi antenna 7,927 meters. Operating altitude perspective, high-gain antenna is recommended of the long range communication.

Velocities Analysis of Hypertension Blood Flow of Brachial Artery on Color Doppler Ultrasonography using IHb Color Information (IHb 색상 정보를 이용한 색조 도플러 초음파 영상에서 상완 동맥의 고혈압 혈류 속도 분석)

  • 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 상완 동맥 영역에 대한 RGB 채널을 HSV 채널로 변환한다. 변환된 HSV 채널에 대해 고혈압 영역의 특징을 강조하게 하기 위해 밝기 값을 나타내는 V값을 조절한다. 조절된 HSV 채널을 다시 RGB 채널로 변환한 후, Fuzzy C_Means 기반 무게중심과 Possibilistc C_Means 기반 무게 중심을 기반으로 새로운 무게 중심을 구하여 픽셀들을 클러스터링하여 상완동맥 영역의 고혈압 영역을 추출한다. 추출된 상완 동맥의 고혈압 영역에 대해 헤모글로빈 색소 정보를 나타내는 IHb 값을 이용하여 상완 동맥의 고혈압 영역에서 유사한 헤모글로빈 색소 정보를 가지는 영역을 분할한다. 분할된 영역들을 혈류의 속도를 나타내는 색상표와 대조하여 고혈압의 진행에 대해 분석하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법을 색조 도플러 초음파 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 제안된 방법이 고혈압의 진행에 대한 분석 결과와 색조 도플러 초음파 영상 장비에 나타난 고혈압 진행 결과와 거의 일치하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
