The Effects of Business Startup Attributes on the Overconfidence of Business Startup and Entrepreneur's Attitude in Foodservice Industry (외식산업 창업속성이 창업 과잉자신감과 창업자 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of business startup attributes on the overconfidence of business startup and entrepreneur's attitude in foodservice industry. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to 300 entrepreneurs in the foodservice industry through October 1 to October 30, 2012. The results were as follows. First, entrepreneur's characteristics, funds for business startup, locations and products had a statistically significant positive effect on the overconfidence of business startup(p<.05). Second, funds for business startup, locations and products had a statistically significant positive effect on entrepreneurs' attitude(p<.01). Third, the overconfidence of business startup had a statistically significant positive effect on entrepreneurs' attitude(p<.001). The findings stated above mean that knowledge or experience related to specialized management mind as entrepreneur's characteristic factors are just as important, and customers' use and choice of restaurants are also connected to stable management when the floating population of them are located to a suitable place in combination with product characteristics in enough financing and preparation based on this, showing entrepreneur's positive attitude through stable management along with confidence.

A Study on the Influence of the Selection Attribute on Coffee Shop toward Use Satisfaction by College Students (대학생들의 커피전문점 선택속성이 이용만족에 미치는 영향연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of selection factors which include accessibility, trade area, spatiality, convenience, reliability, assurance on satisfaction. Also, the relationship among satisfaction, conversion cost, and reuse intention was examined. The survey was conducted for college students who had used coffee shops in the last month and 247 copies were used for the analysis. The study model was analyzed by the basic statistical analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and structural model analysis using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. As a result of analysis, it was confirmed that customer satisfaction was influenced by factors in order of assurance, accessibility, commerciality, reliability, and spatiality. Also, satisfaction and conversion cost have a significant effect on reuse intention. The result shows that the satisfaction of selection factors increases student customer's behavioral intentions and ultimately contributes to the improvement of coffee shop performance. Therefore, a coffee shop targeting college students needs a lot of interest in the taste of coffee, price, various menus and accessibility, trade area, and large space.

Customer Voices in Telehealth: Constructing Positioning Maps from App Reviews (고객 리뷰를 통한 모바일 앱 서비스 포지셔닝 분석: 비대면 진료 앱을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the service attributes and consumer reactions of telemedicine apps in South Korea and visualize their differentiation by constructing positioning maps. We crawled 23,219 user reviews of 6 major telemedicine apps in Korea from the Google Play store. Topics were derived by BERTopic modeling, and sentiment scores for each topic were calculated through KoBERT sentiment analysis. As a result, five service characteristics in the application attribute category and three in the medical service category were derived. Based on this, a two-dimensional positioning map was constructed through principal component analysis. This study proposes an objective service evaluation method based on text mining, which has implications. In sum, this study combines empirical statistical methods and text mining techniques based on user review texts of telemedicine apps. It presents a system of service attribute elicitation, sentiment analysis, and product positioning. This can serve as an effective way to objectively diagnose the service quality and consumer responses of telemedicine applications.

A Study on the Determinants of Customers' Behavioral Intention of Incheon Port Hinterland Service (인천항 배후단지 서비스의 고객행동의도 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • The present study purposed to derive the major attributes of the service quality of port hinterlands from previous research and interviews with specialists, to examine causal relations among the service quality of hinterlands, customer satisfaction, switching barrier and customers' behavior, and to suggest strategic implications. According to the results, the service quality of port hinterlands was divided into 'interaction quality', 'physical environment quality' and 'service delivery quality,' and among the three dimensions of quality, 'physical environment quality' and 'service delivery quality' had a significant effect on customer satisfaction but 'interaction quality' did not. These results suggest directions for what dimensions of quality should be controlled in order to improve the service quality of port hinterlands with limited management resources, and thus they are expected to contribute to more strategic marketing activities upon customers.

  • This study aims to analyze customer satisfaction, revisit intention, and recommendation intention of food styling of Korean fusion cuisine in order to establish the development of food styling of Korean fusion cuisine and to develop the marketing strategies for food styling of Korean fusion cuisine. A survey was conducted in Korean fusion restaurants during the month of August 2013. A valid sample of 150 questionnaire sheets returned were analyzed using SPSS version 21.0. Results of this study showed that food styling of Korean fusion cuisine influenced customer satisfaction, revisit intention, and recommendation intention. Food styling factors such as food and plate, linen and centerpiece, cutlery, and, glassware influenced customer satisfaction, revisit intention, and, recommendation intention. This study suggests to develop a scheme for modern food styling for the globalization of Korean cuisine.

  • This study conducted a survey and emperical analysis of SNS based consumer experience visits to eat out companies. A total of 350 questionnaires were collected of which 28 were deemed unreliable, leaving 322 responses to be used in the analysis. SPSS 22.0 was employed to carry out frequency analysis, factor analysis, and reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. First, choose eat out properties multiple regression analysis on the impact on customer satisfaction, overall explanatory power of the regression equation $R^2=.521$ (adjusted $R^2=.515$) and F values were analyzed statistically significant the influence of the positive (+) with 86.325 p=0.000 and the regression equation. Content type pursuit of independent variables (B=0.540, p<0.001), seeking safety type (B=0.292, p<0.001) were significantly appeared showed the influence of the positive (+), Pursuit convenience-type (B=0.071, p<0.001) and the pursuit of dignity type (B=0.002, p<0.001) the sub-showed the influence of (-). Second, the multiple regression analysis on the impact on customer satisfaction to others is recommended explanatory power is $R^2=.539$ (adjusted $R^2=.538$) and F values are analyzed by a statistical regression equation p=0.000 and 374.765 in significance showed that the model fit the regression line. Customer satisfaction is the independent variable was the influence of the positive (+) to (B=0.540, p<0.001).

  • Clustering is a data mining method which help discovering interesting data groups in large databases. In traditional data clustering, similarity between objects in the cluster is measured by pairwise similarity of objects. But we devise an advanced measurement called item similarity in this paper, in terms of nature of clustering transaction data and use this measurement to perform clustering. This new algorithm show the similarity by accepting the concept of relationship between different attributes. With this item similarity measurement, we develop an efficient clustering algorithm for target marketing in each group.

  • 스타트업이 초기 시장진출의 진입장벽을 극복하고, 신제품의 시장 진출 이후에 경쟁력을 잃어 실패하고 마는 데스밸리(DeathValley)를 극복해내기 위해서는 시장 진입 및 시장에서의 지속가능한 성장을 위한 다양한 마케팅 역량이 중요하다고 할 수 있으며, 스타트업이 실패하는 주된 원인에 대한 조사 결과 시장이 원하지 않는 제품을 개발하는 것이 주된 이유로 조사됨에 따라 고객의 요구에 부합하도록 상품을 만다는 것에 대한 중요성이 더욱 대두되고 있다. 다만 상대적으로 대기업이나 중소기업에 비해 자본력과 지속성에 약점을 갖고 있는 스타트업에 있어서는 마케팅에 어려움을 겪고 있고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 스타트업 제품선택속성이 제품 선호도에 어떠한 영향을 주고 구매의도 및 구전의도까지 연결이 되는지를 확인하여 스타트업이 제품 개발 시 소비자의 수요에 부합한 제품을 개발하고, 효과적인 마케팅 전략을 도출할 수 있도록 기초자료를 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 주요 내용은 첫째, 선행연구를 통해 제품 구입 시 영향을 미치는 선택 속성을 가격, 디자인, 편의성, 기능으로 구성하여 각각의 제품 선택 속성이 제품 선호도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구를 진행했으며, 둘째, 선호도가 구매의도에 미치는 영향과 선호도가 구전의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구를 진행했다. 본 연구결과를 통해 제품 선택 속성과 제품 선호도, 구매의도 및 구매의도 간의 연관성을 파악할 수 있으며, 이에 따라 제품 선호도, 구매의도 및 구전의도에 영향을 미치는 제품 선택 속성에 대한 중요성을 제시할 수 있다. 아울러, 본 연구결과는 스타트업이 소비자의 구매행동을 이해 및 예측한 제품을 개발하고 이를 반영한 마케팅 전략을 수립함에 있어 적용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고, 이를 통해 문제 해결 실행 대안을 제시하는 것에 그 의미가 있다.

An Exploratory study on the Effect of Digital Environment on Customer Participation and Marketing System (디지털 환경에서 고객 참여를 통한 고객 주도형 관계 구조 형성에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • This study explores the effect of the properties of digital infra on customer participation to explain how customers' initiatives impact the marketing process in the digital environment. Also the effect of the accumulated information through customers' information sharing on their initiatives in the marketing activities can be discovered. These effects can be better understood by developing comprehensive model and employing large sample empirical test. Study1 identifies the properties of digital infra which overcomes the limitations of off-line environment in customers' participation - Information openness, connectedness, community interaction and structure clarity - and how these properties activate customers' participation in the marketing process. Study2 shows the process structure of reverse marketing activities in the digital environment. These findings deliver the fact that customers' initiatives in the marketing activities will be accepted generally under the digital environment. Consequently, this study suggests some managerial implications for completely different marketing strategies in response to customers' initiatives in the marketing activities under the digital environment.

  • 컨조인트 분석기법은 Marketing 분야에서 주로 많이 쓰여온 분석 방법으로서 제품의 중요한 속성들을 찾아내어 다양한 종류의 제품들에 대한 고객의 선호도를 분석하는 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 컨조인트 분석기법을 이용하여 의자의 물리적 적합도를 분석, 평가하여 사용자가 적합하다고 느끼는 최적의 의자를 밝히는데 목적을 두었다. 안정성, 여유성, 인체적합성, 안락성등 4개의 적합도 요소를 종속변수로 선택하고 의자 자체의 설계 요소에 해당하는 휴먼인테페이스 요소(HIE) 중 높이 조절 기능, 팔걸이, 등판길이의 3가지 속성을 독립변수로 사용하였다. 분석에 사용된 의자는 각 속성을 특징적으로 대표하는 8개의 의자들로서 구성되었다. 분석의 결과 네 가지의 적합성에 공통성적으로 가장 큰 영향을 주는 속성은 (남자 안정성은 예외) 등판길이로서 남자와 여자 모두 등판길이가 높을 때 안정적이며 안락하고 인체적합하며 여유성이 있다고 느낀다는 결과가 나왔다. 적합도의 네가지 항목 모두에서 공통적으로 등판길이가 높고 팔걸이가 있는 경우에 평가가 높게 나타났으며, 안정성의 경우에는 남·녀 모두 높이조절 기능이 없는 고정형을 더 높게 평가하는 것으로 나타났다.
