Recently, the virtual construction system in which project participants efficiently share and control the information throughout the life-cycle of construction project using 3D object models is being developed all over the world. In this paper, a design of interface between 3D object model of structures and structural analysis system that is essential for the analysis and design of civil structures in the virtual space is treated. The relation parametric modeling technique that is needed to make the 3D object models and the construction method of product breakdown structure(PBS) that considers the several parameters for the structural analysis are presented. PBS is built so that it is possible to extract needed attribute information from 3D object model and to apply it to the structural analysis. Design methodology for interface program is proposed that several numerical values determined by the cooperative work same as structural analysis are delivered to 3D object models without additional work. An interface program between 3D object models and structural analysis system developed based on the proposed method would be effectively used to develop virtual construction system.
This paper analytically evaluates the FEC(Forward Error Correction) symbol size's effect on the performance and energy consumption of 802.11 protocol with the block FEC algorithm over WSN(Wireless Sensor Network). Since the basic recovery unit of block FEC algorithms is symbols not bits, the FEC symbol size affects the packet correction rate even with the same amount of FEC check bits over a given WSN channel. Precisely, when the same amount of FEC check bits are allocated, the small-size symbols are effective over channels with frequent short bursts of propagation errors while the large ones are good at remedying the long rare bursts. To estimate the effect of the FEC symbol site, the paper at first models the WSN channel with Gilbert model based on real packet traces collected over TIP50CM sensor nodes and measures the energy consumed for encoding and decoding the RS (Reed-Solomon) code with various symbol sizes. Based on the WSN channel model and each RS code's energy expenditure, it analytically calculates the transmission efficiency and power consumption of 802.11 equipped with RS code. The computational analysis combined with real experimental data shows that the RS symbol size makes a difference of up to 4.2% in the transmission efficiency and 35% in energy consumption even with the same amount of FEC check bits.
The roles and functions of domestic public libraries are diversifying, but various problems have emerged due to internally biased book lending. In addition, due to the 4th Industrial Revolution, public libraries have introduced a book recommendation system focusing on popular books, but the variety of books that users can access is limited. Therefore, in this study, the public library unborrowed book recommendation system was implemented limiting its spatial scope to Duryu Library in Daegu City to enhance the satisfaction of public library users, by using the loan records data (213,093 cases), user information (35,561 people), etc. and utilizing methods like cluster analysis, topic modeling, content-based filtering recommendation algorithm, and conducted a survey on actual users' satisfaction to present the possibility and implications of the unborrowed book recommendation system. As a result of the analysis, the majority of users responded with high satisfaction, and was able to find the satisfaction was relatively high in the class classified by specific gender, age, occupation, and usual reading. Through the results of this study, it is expected that some problems such as biased book lending and reduced operational efficiency of public libraries can be improved, and limitations of the study was also presented.

The purpose of this study is to derive and propose agenda to improve the quality of minority services provided by regional cental libraries at the present time when information gap is deepening. First, text mining and topic modeling were conducted on 144 studies in the field of library and information science that dealt with minorities, and the discussions surrounding minorities in the domestic library world were examined in detail. Next, the current status of services for minorities in Regional central libraries were examined in detail, and tasks requiring discussion were sought in planning and operation of services for minorities in Regional central libraries. To this end, interviews were conducted with practitioners, in charge of services for minorities at Regional central libraries. Specifically, 1) awareness of minorities by practitioners, 2) current status of minority services, and 3) responsibility and role of Regional central libraries for planning and operating minority services and necessary support were analyzed. Based on the analysis results, the following tasks were derived. 1) Recategorization of minority groups, 2) Establishment of reference resource, 3) Reinforcement of education, and 4) Cooperation support between regional representative libraries and local public libraries were derived and suggested.
Drug repositioning, one of the methods of developing new drugs, is a useful way to discover new indications by allowing drugs that have already been approved for use in people to be used for other purposes. Recently, with the development of machine learning technology, the case of analyzing vast amounts of biological information and using it to develop new drugs is increasing. The use of machine learning technology to drug repositioning will help quickly find effective treatments. Currently, the world is having a difficult time due to a new disease caused by coronavirus (COVID-19), a severe acute respiratory syndrome. Drug repositioning that repurposes drugsthat have already been clinically approved could be an alternative to therapeutics to treat COVID-19 patients. This study intends to examine research trends in the field of drug repositioning using machine learning techniques. In Pub Med, a total of 4,821 papers were collected with the keyword 'Drug Repositioning'using the web scraping technique. After data preprocessing, frequency analysis, LDA-based topic modeling, random forest classification analysis, and prediction performance evaluation were performed on 4,419 papers. Associated words were analyzed based on the Word2vec model, and after reducing the PCA dimension, K-Means clustered to generate labels, and then the structured organization of the literature was visualized using the t-SNE algorithm. Hierarchical clustering was applied to the LDA results and visualized as a heat map. This study identified the research topics related to drug repositioning, and presented a method to derive and visualize meaningful topics from a large amount of literature using a machine learning algorithm. It is expected that it will help to be used as basic data for establishing research or development strategies in the field of drug repositioning in the future.

A transition-based Objet-oriented programming system(TOPS) is a transition-based object-oriented system suitable for development of various concurrent systems.A TOPS consists of a collection of interacting structural active objects(SAOs),and their behaviors are determined by the transition statements provided in their class definitions.Furthermore,SAOs can be structurally and hierarchcally composed from their component SAOs like hardware commponents. These features allow SAOs to model components for circuit simulation more naturally than passive objects used in ordinary object-oriented programming. Also,we can easily add new kinds of components by using the inheritance mechanism.Executions of transition statements may be eventand/or time-driven, and hence digital, and mixed-mode simulation is possible.Prototype simulation programs with graphical user interfaces have been developed as TOPS progrms for digital, analog, and mixed-mode circuit simulation.
Conventional topology-based routing protocols are not suitable for inter-vehicular communication, where frequent route updates are necessary due to continuous and abrupt changes in network topology Position-based routing protocols are widely accepted to better serve their purpose in such a scenario as they do not require path discovery or maintenance. However they have to deal with the overhead of the location service and inaccurate position information. This paper proposes the MMFP (Multi-hop MAC Forwarding Protocol) for inter-vehicle communication that relies on reachability information collected from received packets in making a forwarding decision without path discovery. The MMFP is designed as an extension to the IEEE 802.11 MAC layer to ensure accuracy in its time-critical operations. This paper also presents some simulation results that demonstrate the superior performance of the MMFP over AODV in a realistic inter-vehicular communication.

This paper describes the implementation of the asymmetric digital subscriber lines(ADSL) interface device function in ATM networks. The function of the ADSL interface devices has been achieved within a type of the ATM switch standard board. The board connected with the ADSL modem process the ATM physical layer function of data transfering asymmetrically. For the implementation of the board, we have modeled a worst case of the subscriber line conditions from the existing investigated results on the impairments such as crosstalk, impulse noise, and some important noises loaded to subscrber line. Also we have performed assessment tests in the full test environments. We have found that the board is met to the standard specification in condition with various test loops and the worst line conditions using an ADLS line simulator. And we confirmed that high-speed multimedia services are performed well with the ATM switch and the ADSL subscriber line. It is evaluted that this board can be used for high quality ADSL services through existed copper subscriber line.
In this paper, performance of DSRC systems is analyzed with considering the real roads and height of vehicles. The channels are modeled as 2-Ray and 4-Ray with a direct wave and reflected waves by a road and buildings in a physical layer because DSRC keeps LOS propagation characteristics, and the pass loss for each model is calculated respectively. Rician factor is obtained through the calculated path loss on two models for DSRC, and the performance of the systems is analyzed in AWGN and Rician fading channels, Impulsive noise and Rician fading channels respectively. As a result, in Rician fading channels with impulsive noise(A=0.2, ${\Gamma}^{\prime}=0.22$), BER is below $10^{-6}$ when the distance is farther than 80[m] and 40[m] in 2-Ray model and 4-Ray model respectively. For performance improvement, BCH coding scheme and MRC diversity scheme are adopted.
