  • 전력수요의 증대로 발전소 운전에 핵심적인 역할을 담당하는 제어시스템의 중요성이 한층 더 강조되었다. 본 연구에서는 발전기 전압제어를 담당하는 여자시스템의 독특한 형태인 복권형 P-bar 여자시스템과 De-excitation 설비에 대하여 기술하고, Y원자력 발전소에서 경험하였던 De-excitation 설비에 계자방전 인덕터(FDI) 사용함으로써 발전기 계자권선에 축적된 에너지를 방전하는데 계자권선 시정수인 Tdo'이 설계치보다 너무 오래 지속되는 문제점을 검토하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 개선방안을 제시하였으며 이를 유사 발전소에 적용한 결과와 그 효용성을 보였다

  • To wind a HTS (High Temperature Superconductor) tape conductor on a bobbin, double pancake winding technique is widely used to reduce number of splicing contacts between conductor pieces. However, this makes some Ic (critical current) degradation on kink points which is unavoidable. This paper describes the two ways of winding; usual double pancake and soldered double pancake. Characteristics of the two windings are measured and compared.

  • 본 논문에서는 발전소 현장에서 전력을 생산하는 발전기의 중요 구성품인 회전자 계자권선의 단락 현상을 감지할 수 있는 센서를 개발하여 현장 발전기에 설치함에 있어, 설치시 발생할 수 있는 문제점으로 인해 센서가 제 기능을 발휘하지 못하는 것을 사전에 차단하고자, 그동안 현장설치시 나타난 문제점을 고찰하고 향후 발전기 내에 단락 감시용 센서 설치시 이러한 문제점이 발생하지 않도록 효과적인 설치방법에 대하여 기술하였다.

Investigation of the Coil Deforamtion of the Gas Turbine Generator Rotor Using Finite Element Analysis (유한요소해석을 이용한 가스터빈 발전기 로터의 계자권선 변형 해석)

  • The generator for gas turbine power generation consists of the rotor which generates magnetic field, the winding coil which is the path for the field current and the wedge and retaining ring which prevents the radial movement of the coil. Relatively severe deformation was observed at the coil end section during the inspection of the generator for peaking-load operation, and the thermal-electricity and the centrifugal force were evaluated by the simple modeling of the windings to find the cause. But the simulation stress was not sufficient to induce the coil plastic deformation. The analysis result seems to be applicable to the base-load generators which runs continuously without shut down up to a year, but there had been more deformation than simulated for the generator which is started up and shut down frequently. The cause of the coil deformation was the restriction of the expansion and shrinkage. The restriction occurs when the winding coil shrinks, and the stress overwhelms the yield stress and cause the plastic deformation. The deformation is accumulated during the start-ups and shut-downs and the thermal growth occurs. The factors which induce the coil restriction during the expansion and shrinkage should be reduced to prevent the unallowable deformation. The resolutions are cutting off the field current earlier during the generator shut-down, modifying the coil end section to remove the stress concentration and making the insulation plate inserted between the coil end section and the retaining ring have the constant thickness.

  • 최근 친환경 차량에 대한 관심이 급증함에 따라 고효율 운전이 가능한 하이브리드 전기자동차(Hybrid Electric Vehicle, 이하 HEV)에 대한 관심이 급증하고 있다. 구동형 전동기로는 효율이 높고 단위 체적당 토크가 큰 전동기가 요구되고 있으며, 본 논문에서는 계자권선형 동기전동기(Wound Field Synchronous Motor, 이하 WFSM)를 적용하였다. WFSM은 자속 성분을 임의로 제어할 수 있기 때문에 저속영역부터 고속영역까지 좋은 운전 특성을 가지는 장점이 있지만, 기존 동기전동기와는 달리 제어변수가 증가한다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 HEV용 WFSM에 적용된 MTPA(Maximum Torque Per Ampare, 이하 MTPA) 등에 대한 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • In recent years, ISG (Integrated Starter and Generator) system receives a great attention for electric electrification of normal gasoline vehicle. As a cost-effect machine design, an ISG without a permanent magnet is considered. A 12slot-10pole field-excitation flux-switching synchronous machine (FEFSSM) is designed and analyzed via JMAG. The active parts such as the field excitation coil and armature coil are located on the stator. The rotor part consisting of single piece iron makes it more robust and suitable to apply for high speed motor drive system application coupled with reduction belt. The design target is the motor with a maximum torque of 40Nm, a maximum power of 10kW and a maximum speed of 14000 rpm. In this paper, design optimization method is proposed for high torque capability.

  • This paper constructed the experimental system which is able to drive in series or separately excited by switching of the field winding, using a DC motor and obtained the characteristics of efficiency with speed and torque of each motor's type through the experiment. From this result controlled drive which is able to series DCM or separately excited DCM in the optimal point of efficiency as finding the types of motor having maximum efficiency with torque and speed. By performing high efficiency tracking drive, it is expected that energy consumption of power source with limited energy density would be reduced, and so utility efficiency would be improved.

  • 본 논문에서는 부하 변동에 따른 출력전압의 미세조정이 가능하며 정현적인 자속분포를 통한 출력전압 파형의 왜곡을 개선할 수 있는 하이브리드형 회전자를 갖는 새로운 동기발전기를 개발하였다. 개발된 동기발전기는 회전계자형으로서 영구자석과 계자권선을 함께 채용한 형태의 하이브리드형 회전자 구조를 가지고 있으며 전자기해석 툴을 이용한 시뮬레이션과 실험결과를 비교 분석하였다.

  • To enhance the performance of superconducting motor, the flux which links the stator windings needs to be increased as much as possible. In this paper we redistributed the field winding to increase the flux-linkage. This paper introduces an algorithm that modifies the rotor winding shape to increase the flux-linkage to stator winding, satisfying both the constant superconductor volume and HTS tape characteristic (I$_{c}$-B curve) constraints. To check the validness of the proposed algorithm, it was applied to the 100 Hp HTS motor model, and about 21 % increase of flux-linkage was confirmed depending on the initial winding shape.e.
