Due to rapid internet supply and the increase of electronic resources including network resources, there has been a sudden change in cataloguing fields. To deal with rapid changes, IFLA revised cataloguing rules for electronic and continuing resources; ISBD(ER) and ISBD(CR). This study is to analyze activities of IFLA and ISBD(CR), expecially in regards with concepts of continuing resources, new categories of bibliographic materials, major or minor changes in title proper, basis of the description, material specific area, definition of a new terminologies, changes in AACR2R 2002 revision and MARC 21 coding, and issues concerned with revision of KCR 4 and KORMARC.

To deal with rapid changes, IFLA revised cataloguing rules for electronic and continuing resources; ISBD(ER) and ISBD(CR), JSC(Joint Steering Committee for Revision of AACR) has published the 2002 revision of Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules, Second Edition. Major changes in both content and format make the release of the 2002 revision momentous. This study is to analyze activities of JSC and rule revisions of AACR2R 2002 edition, expecially in regards with concepts of change to rule 0.24, new categories of bibliographic materials, changes to chapter 3(cartographic materials), chapter 9(electronic materials), chapter 12(continuing materials), definition of a new terminologies, changes in MARC 21 coding, and issues concerned with revision of KORMARC.

귀중한 수자원을 효율적으로 관리하고 홍수 피해를 저감하고 환경친화적인 수자원의 역할을 제대로 자리매김하기 위하여 무엇보다 필요한 사항은 신뢰성 있는 유량자료를 기초자료로서 확보하는 것이다. 그러나 유량 측정에 필요한 측정기준의 불명확, 예산과 측정장비의 부족, 전문 인력의 부재로 인해 그동안 유량자료에 대한 문제 제기가 계속되어 온 것이 사실이다. 최근 유량조사사업단의 설립과 함께 정도 높은 유량자료를 생성하고자 유량측정을 전문적으로 담당하는 인력이 유량측정과 분석을 일상적으로 수행하는 등 개선의 노력을 계속하고 있다. 강화된 유량측정 기준과 개선된 방법론에 따른 현장측정을 통해 정밀한 유량측정성과를 확보하였으며, 측정된 유량측정성과의 일상 검증을 통해 보다 정밀한 유량측정성과를 확보하고자 하였다. 또한 유량자료를 생성하여 이를 평가함으로써 유량측정 전 과정이 적절하게 이루어졌는지를 평가하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 낙동강 수계 본류의 주요 9개 대상 지점에 대해 신뢰성 있는 수위-유량관계곡선을 개발할 수 있었다. 개발된 곡선식을 이용하여 유량자료를 생성하고 상 하류간 비교, 유출률 분석 등을 통해 생성된 유량자료를 검토하였다. 확정된 유량자료는 양질의 수준을 갖는 것으로 평가되었다.

인천항의 검조소의 검조기록은 우리나라의 수치측지기준(vertical geodetic datum)을 제공하는 중요한 자료이다. 본 연구에서는 최(1990)가 62년부터의 14년 자료를 처리, 발표한 것에 이어 83년에 다시 계속적인 분석을 보고하였지만 92년까지의 검조기록을 재분석하여 보고코저 한다. 분석에서 61년 이전의 자료는 하계의 DST(Daylight Saving Time)적용에 따른 자료가 보정되어 있지 못하므로 사용하지 않았으며 73, 74년 역시 검조소 이전에 따른 년자료의 연장이 완전하지 않아 취하지 않았다. 국내적으로 데이터베이스와 관련하여 연구논문 및 단행본 그리고 일반잡지 등 많은 방대한 자료가 우리 주위에 널려 있다. 다만, 우리는 미처 원하는 자료를 찾지 못할 뿐이다. 따라서 본고에서는 데이터베이스관련 자료들을 한데 모아 데이터베이스월드 독자들에게 알려주고자 한다. 이번호에 게재된 내용은 국회도서관과 국립중앙도서관에 소장돼 있는 석ㆍ박사 연구논문 자료들이며, 계속 매회 관련된 자료를 게재할 예정이다. 아울러 이번 기회에 찾고자 하는 데이터베이스에 관련된 자료를 찾는데 있어서 많은 도움이 되길 바란다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the current development of continuing professional education for librarians with particular foci on online learning and professional competencies. It analyzed the current online training programs at the National Library of Korea along with on-site programs in order to identify their strengths and weaknesses. It also examined best practices of online continuing education abroad where more diverse and interactive delivery methods, such as webinars and webcasts, are used to inform latest and practical topics in the field. It found online training programs are not complementing but playing major roles in continuing professional education. The study also examined the current trends that library continuing educational institutions are applying core competencies schemes to continuing education programs in order to systemize their programs and to strengthen individual librarians' professional competencies.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of incremental oral health care perceptions and experiences on oral health care performance by analyzing the results of incremental oral health care management for adults. As age increased, incremental oral health care experience is significantly higher. The results have shown that as age increases, interest in incremental oral health care becomes even higher. And, the group using secondary oral care products has significantly higher incremental oral care experience(p<0.05). Also, those who visit dental clinic regularly continue to experience incremental oral health care(p<0.05). In addition, the group that had experienced preventive dental services continued to be significantly highly relevant to oral health care(p<0.05). Based on the results of this study, it is possible to analyze the experience and influence of incremental oral health management and it can be used as basic data for the construction of incremental oral health care program in dental clinic.

정보통신 기술의 발달로 자치단체에서 개별적으로 운영되던 업무별 단위시스템을 단일화 또는 연계하여 자료를 공동 활용하려는 노력이 계속되고 있다 하지만 타 시스템의 자료를 실시간으로 검색함에 있어 빠른 응답시간이 요구되며, 검색건수 증가에 따른 수행지연으로 인한 문제가 되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 검색 대상 자료를 본 시스템의 메모리에 상주시켜 연계자료에 대한 검색속도를 높이고 수행지연에 의한 병목현상을 해결할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

통계청이 발표한 '10월 고용동향' 자료에 의하면 10월 국내 실업률은 2.6%, 총 실업자수는 60만5000명으로 조사됐다. 특히 20~30대의 청년실업률은 계속 증가해 모두 40만9000명으로 전체 실업자의 67.6%나 차지하고 있어 그 심각성이 더하다. 더욱 심각한 것은 대졸 이상의 고학력 실업률이 계속 증가하고 있는 것이다. 1998년 IMF라는 미증유의 외환위기를 겪으면서 평생직장 개념이 사라졌다. 스스로 실력을 키워 몸값을 올리지 않으면 살아남기 힘든 무한경쟁시대가 도래했다.
