A Study on the Measurement of Dynamic Stability Derivatives in the Rolling Motion of Aircraft (항공기의 롤운동 동안정미계수 측정에 관한 연구)

  • This paper deals with an experimental technique for the measurement of dynamic stability derivatives in the roll motion of aircraft. Experimental aquisition method for aircraft's dynamic stability derivatives is conducted on the oscillation condition of aircraft model in the subsonic wind tunnel. The oscillation of aircraft model was forced by the oscillation apparatus. The forced oscillation technique is the method getting data from the internal balance inserted into the aircraft model during oscillating it. Dynamic stability derivatives of rolling motion were calculated by data reduction from the measurements of rolling moment, frequency and amplitude of aircraft model due to forced oscillation under wind conditions. Results of experiment is obtained similar one with those of roll dynamic stability derivatives measured in other institutes.

Simulative consideration for w-shaped d.i. diesel combustion chamber system using spray wall impaction (분무충돌을 이용한 w-형 직접분사식 디젤연소실에 대한 계산적 고찰)

  • Combustion chamber systems using spray impinged on walls have been studied for improving combustion characteristics in high speed direct injection diesel engines. The fuel spray injected in a small combustion chamber may be easily impinged and deposited on the wall. The fuel deposit has been considered as the cause for unburned emission due to difficulty of fuel-air mixing. In this paper w-shaped combustion chamber which has four raised pips on the side wall is introduced and discussed by comparing with conventional chamber with no pips. The computer code employing new spray-wall interaction model in general non-orthogonal grids is used in here. The model is applied into the new chamber shape with raised pips. In this chamber system four-hole nozzle is used, and the sprays injected from the each hole impact on lands raised from the chamber wall surface. After impacting, the sprays break up into much smaller drops and distribute over all the chamber space, instead of distributing just near the wall surface in conventional omega-shape. The results showed the potential of the w-shaped chamber employing pips for dispersing droplets so as tn avoid the fuel deposit regions.

Sources of Data for Wital Statisitcs in the Republic of Korea (인구동태통계 자료원의 고찰)

  • 현재 우리나라에서 인구동태(출생, 사망, 임신, 결혼, 이동) 통계를 생산할 수 있는 제도로는 호적신고, 주민등록의 이환, 전출입 신고, 그리고 표본가구를 대상으로 하는 인구동태표본조사의 세가지로 볼 수 있다. 원칙적으로 인구동태통계는 신고제도로 부터 작성되는 것이 가장 바람직한 것으로 알려져 있다. 우리나라는 경제, 사회발전 및 최근 의료보험제도의 도입 등으로 신고의 질적 수준이 크게 향상되었지만, 신고로부터 완벽한 인구동태통계를 작성하기에는 다음과 같은 자료로 다소 미흡한 것으로 볼 수 있다. 첫째로, 유아사망의 경우, 출생 및 사망신고를 안하는 비율이 상당히 높다. 둘째로, 사망신고시 사망의견서를 첨부하지 않고 인우보증으로 대신하는 비중이 높기 때문에 정확한 사인통계작성에 지장을 주고 있다. 셋째로, 결혼, 이혼의 경우 혼전동거나 동거하다가 헤어지는 경우 신고에서 파악되지 못하고 있다. 넷째로, 이동의 경우 무단전출입 또는 서류상으로만 전출입신고를 하는 경우 이동량 및 흐름을 왜곡시킬 수 있다. 다섯째, 인구동태 계산시 신고자료는 주소지로 집계되는 반면, 분모가 되는 인구센서스 자료는 상주지로 집계되기 때문에 지역별로 동태율을 분석함에 있어 어려움을 주고 있다. 따라서, 이와 같은 문제점을 보완하고 정확한 인구동태통계의 작성에 기여하고자 통계청에서는 전국에서 32,000표본가구를 대상으로 인구동태표본조사를 실시하고 있다. 동 표본조사에서는 조사원이 매월 표본가구를 방문하여 지난 한달 동안 발생한 출생, 사망, 결혼 , 이혼, 이동에 관한 사항을 조사하는바 표본오차를 제외하고 비표본오차는 거의 없는 중요한 자료원이 되고 있다. 결과적으로 인구동태통계와 관련하여서 관련기관에서는 그 중요성을 인식, 신고 제도의 문제점을 계속 보완하고 개선하기 위한 방안이 만들어져 수행되어야 하며 인구동태표본조사실도 더욱 발전시켜야 될 것으로 사료된다.

  • This test cell is developed to the institutes or laboratories research and study gas turbine engine for academic purpose with this test data to provide the fundamentals of operational mechanism and structural configuration, and further to verify thermodynamic calculation The test cell is installed to monitor and compare real-time data with reference engine model performance simulation data. using by NI DAQ(Data acquisition)device and LabVIEW program based on 80 lbf-micro turbojet engine.

  • A (t,n) threshold secret sharing scheme is the scheme which allows a trusted party to distribute the shares among n participants in such a way that any t of them can recover the original secret, but any group knowing only t-1 or fewer shares can not. Recently, Eslami et al. and Tadayon et al. proposed threshold multi-secret sharing schemes, respectively. They proposed that their schemes don't require secure channels. But, without secure channels in their schemes, everyone can get the shares and find the secrets. The proposed scheme does not use secure channels and only t participants can solve the equations of the system from the delivered share shadows and find the secrets.

  • The existing nuclear power plants have been often redesigned by increasing or decreasing electrical power without changing design concept by the request of utility, economic factors or other factors. When the cost of power plant equipment redesigned by changing reactor power and electrical power is estimated, if its quotation is not available in the market place, cost scaling factor(CSF) applies to the cost of existing plant equipment and then the new-designed equipment cost can be calculated. In this paper, we review CSFs according to plant capacity change cases in United State DOE, EPRI, ABB, SWEC and introduce the results applied to Korean PWR 1000MWe and 1400MWe.

  • Due to the uncertainties resulting from cost projection, evaluation over long term period, and adequacy of applied discount rate, the economic assessment for back-end fuel cycle is different from each organizations or individuals. In this paper, the features and limitations of some noticeable economic evaluations were investigated and analysed to contribute for the public participation and back-end fuel cycle policy related researches. As a result of analysis, we found that the reprocess and recycling is more economical than direct disposal option, but the result includes high uncertainty that depends on the input parameters.

  • This paper is about the new distribution system of the electric customer inside. The power loss in the distribution system of the customer is disregarded and rarely managed so for. But, economically, this loss is not small quantity to ignore. So, in this paper, we suggest that the new distribution system of the electric customer inside by simply changing the locations of power transformer and other power facilities which is located inside of the customer. And we also show that the power loss is decreased with this systematic changing by approximated calculation.

Potential of Fuel Stratification for Reducing Pressure Rise Rate in HCCI Engines (HCCI 기관에 있어서의 층상 흡기를 통한 압력 상승률 저감에 대한 연구)

  • This study investigated the effect on reducing the pressure rise rate(PRR) in HCCI Engine by the variation of mixing ratio in the pre-mixture of DME and n-Butane that has different auto-ignition characteristics. In addition to measure of gas pressure in the engine cylinder, chemiluminescence image using the optical accessible engine and numerical analysis with multi-zones model were used to assess the combustion at each local area in the combustion chamber. The maximum PRR changes depending on mixing condition of DME and n-Butane. When DME is stratified and n-Butane is distributed uniformly, maximum PRR becomes lowest which is about 0.25MPa/ms and it corresponds to 5deg. retarding of CA50.

  • 홍수예경보는 강우로 인하여 발생되는 홍수의 규모와 시간을 가능한 한 정확하고 빨리 예측하여 홍수에 대비할 수 있도록 유관기관 및 지역주민에게 사전에 홍수에 관한 정보 즉 예측되는 수위와 시간을 제공함으로써 홍수로부터의 피해를 최소화하는 것이다. 이와 같은 목적을 성공적으로 완수하기 위해서는 홍수시 급변하는 하천유량에 영향을 미치는 모든 수문학적 기상학적 자료를 신속 정확하게 수집할 수 있는 관측 시스템의 구축 뿐 아니라 이들 수집된 자료를 이용하여 실시간 홍수추적을 할 수 있는 효율적인 유출량 계산모형이 조화를 이룰 때 가능하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중 소하천에서 홍수예경보를 위한 지능형 U-River 시스템의 실시간 모니터링 기술을 조사하고 하천수위를 이용한 예측시스템에 대해 연구하였다. 기존의 홍수예경보의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 간단한 입력자료만으로 홍수예측이 가능한 인공지능 기반의 신경망 모형을 이용 하였으며, 예측 모형의 효율성과 적용성을 높이기 위해 유사한 수문 사상을 가지는 상 하류간 입력 자료를 동시에 사용하였다. 또한 하천수위를 이용한 모델의 수행은 각 지점별 훈련성과를 토대로 최적의 은닉층 노드수를 선발하여 실시간 수위예측에 활용하였으며 수치적 기준을 적용하여 실측 수위와 모형에 의해 예측된 수위를 이용하여 평가하였다.
