A Relative Importance Evaluation of Bridge Navigational Equipment Using AHP (AHP를 이용한 선교항해장비의 상대적 중요도 평가)

  • According to IMO, MASS is defined as a vessel operated at various levels independent of human interference. The safety navigation support service for MASS is designed to improve the safety and efficiency of MASS by developing public services on shore for ship arrivals/departures and for cargo handling. The safety navigation support service consists of a total of six types of services: autonomous operation, berthing/unberthing/mooring, cargo handling and ship arrival/departure service, PSC inspection, condition monitoring, and accident response support services. In order to support accident response service, the relative importance of a bridge navigational equipment was assessed by stratifying the navigation system to provide safe and efficient support services by objective judgment through specific and quantitative methods using AHP, one of decision-making methods used by an expert group. The survey was conducted by dividing the bridge navigational equipment into depth, location, and speed information. As a result of applying the AHP method, the importance of depth, location, and speed information was assessed. The relative importance of each equipment for providing location information was also assessed in order of Radar, DGPS, ECDIS, Gyro compass, Autopilot, and AIS. This was similar to survey results on the utilization of each operator's preference and its impact on marine accidents.

Analyses on the Behaviour of Ocean Structure Due to Ship Collision (선박의 충돌로 인한 해양구조물의 거동 해석)

  • The simulation of motion responses of a dolphin-moored ocean structure in shallow water when it cllides with a ship, has been carried out. The equation of motion in the time domain according to Cummin's theory is employed, and solved by making use of the Newmark-${\beta}$ method. The added mass and damping coefficients involved in the equations are abtained from a three-dimensional panel method in the frequency domain. The impact forces due to ship collision are calculated using both the elastic and non-elastic modelings. The mooring forces for dolphin systems of ocean structure are regarded as linear spring forces.

  • 컨테이너를 선박에 양 ${\cdot}$ 적하하는 장비인 컨테이너 크레인은 차폐물이 거의 없는 항만에 설치되며, 계류시 전체 높이가 100m에 달하게 되므로 풍하중에 매우 큰 영향을 받게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 컨테이너 크레인에 작용하는 풍하중을 정확하게 분석하기 위하여 풍력실험과 유한요소해석, 전산유동해석을 통하여 컨테이너 크레인이 받는 풍하중을 분석하였다. 우선 대기 경계층 풍동을 이용한 풍력실험을 수행하여 풍향 및 기계시 위치에 따른 풍력계소를 측정하고, 이를 이용하여 컨테이너 크레인이 받는 풍하증을 분석하였다. 그리고 풍력실험에서 얻어진 반력비를 이용하여 유한요소해석을 수행함으로써 컨테이너 크레인에 작용되는 풍하증과 지지점에서의 전도력을 계산하였다. 마지막으로 전산유동해석을 수행함으로써 컨테이너 크레인 주위의 유동현상을 고찰하고 컨테이너 크레인 표면에서의 풍압력과 풍하중을 실험결과와 비교 ${\cdot}$ 분석하였다.

A Study on the Wave Drift Damping of a Moored Ship in Waves (파랑중 계류된 선박의 표류감쇠에 관한 연구)

  • As the offshore oil fields are moved to the deep ocean, the oil production system of FPSO(Floating Production Storage and Offloading System) Type are constructed frequently these days. So, it is very important to estimate the drift motion and damping effects due to the drift motion simultaneously. The components of slow drift motion damping consist of viscous, wave radiation effect and wave drift damping. It is needed to estimate the wave drift damping more accurately than others. The wave drift damping signifies the time-rate of mean wave drift force on oscillating ship or ocean structure which constant speed. In order to calculate this, the 3-Dimensional panel method is employed with the translating and pulsating Green function in the frequency domain. The calculation is carried out for a Series 60 ($C_B$/=0.7) and the results are compared with other numerical ones.

  • 본 논문에서는 해상 크레인과 중량물의 동적 거동을 시뮬레이션하기 위해, 유한 요소 정식화(finite element formulation)를 이용하여 해상 크레인의 붐(boom)을 탄성체로 모델링 하였다. 붐은 3차원 탄성 빔(beam) 요소로 가정하고, 각 요소의 변형에 의한 변위는 형상 함수(shape function)과 절점 좌표(nodal coordinate)를 이용하여 정의하였다. 변형 변위를 이용하여 탄성 붐의 강성 행렬(stiffnes matrix)을 유도하고, 탄성 변위를 포함하는 위치 벡터를 이용하여 질량 행렬을 유도한다. 해상 크레인과 중량물로 이루어진 운동 방정식에 탄성 붐을 포함하여 유연 다물체계(flexible multibody system) 운동 방정식을 구성한다. 외력으로는 선박 유체정역학적 힘, 유체동역학적 힘, wire rope의 장력, 중력 그리고 계류력(mooring force)이 고려되었다. 먼저 요소의 개수를 변경하며 탄성 붐의 동적 거동을 시뮬레이션 하여, 유한 요소 정식화를 이용한 모델링의 타당성을 검증하였다. 그리고 해상 크레인과 중량물의 동적 거동 시뮬레이션에 탄성 붐 모델을 적용하였다.

  • This study is aiming to find one of working conditions for loading and unloading a large ship at game port. Firstly, for dynamic analysis of the moored ships, the motion characteristics of ship according to loading condition are figured out. The motion characteristics of ship is related to environmental factors such as current, wind, mooring line, fender and etc. As a result, it is ascertained through numerical simulation using the AQUA MARINE developed by ANSYS INC. This study might contribute to make a new method of mooring stability of target ship.

  • This paper presents the design for the kinematic structure of a system for an automatically moored 6000 ton autonomous ship in a port, and the process and results of optimal design for the link cross-sectional shape. We propose an automatic mooring system with a PPP type serial manipulator structure capable of linear motion in the XYZ axis. The mooring force applied by the mooring system was derived with dynamics simulation tool "ADAMS". The design goal is the minimization of the cross-sectional area of the link. Constrains include compressive stress and shear stress. The optimization problems were solved by using the sequential quadratic programing method implemented in the fmincon package. The shape of the cross section was assumed to be rectangle. Through future research, we plan to manufacture automatic mooring system for 6000ton class autonomous ship.

Study on the Characteristics of Thrust and Torque for Partially Submerged Propeller (부분 침수 프로펠러의 bollard pull 추력 및 토오크 특성 연구)

  • Shipbuilders carry out the operation test to check the conditions of the main propulsion system and auxiliaries for moored vessel in the quoy before the sea trial. The estimation of the thrust and torque for the partially submerged propeller should be prepared to ensure the safety of mooring line and the ship. In this paper, the variations of the thrust and torque according to the shaft submergence and the propeller rotating speed in bollard pull condition are investigated with the model test and the numerical analysis. Based on these resaearch, the empirical formula representing the physical phenomena of the partially submerged propeller is derived and validated through comparison to measurement results of full-scale propellers under the quoy operation test.

  • 부유식 라이다는 해상풍력단지 조성시 필수적으로 수행하고 있는 풍황관측 업무에 새로운 패러다임을 제공하고 있는 시스템으로, 전통적으로 풍황관측을 수행하고 있던 해상기상관측탑을 대체하여 사업 초기의 대규모 공사를 획기적으로 축소하여 시간과 비용을 절약하고, 환경적 영향을 최소화 하며, 지역사회의 반발 요소까지 줄일 수 있어 해당 업계의 표준으로 자리잡고 있는 중이다. 다만 부표식의 동요에 따른 외란적 요소가 관측자료의 신뢰성에 영향을 미치는 만큼 안정적인 플랫폼의 설계 및 검증이 매우 중요한 상황이며, 국내에서는 해당기술에 대한 늦은 진입으로 인해 다수의 외산장비 제조사들이 국내시장까지 선점하고 있는 상황이다. 한국의 서해안은 천해 환경으로 조석차가 매우 커 지역에 따라 강한 조류가 반복적으로 나타나며, 계절별로 상이한 강한 에너지의 파랑이 형성되는 등 플랫폼에 안정도에 많은 영향을 미치는 바다 환경을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 복잡한 환경적 특성을 갖고 있는 우리나라의 해역에 라이다 운영에 적합한 부표식에 대한 연구를 수행하며, 우선적으로 적용하였던 선박형 부표식의 최적화 설계 및 검증 사례를 소개하고, 향후 다양한 플랫폼 개발에 토대가 되는 중요 개념을 도출하고자 한다.

Interaction of a Floating Body with a Partially Reflective Sidewall in Oblique Waves (경사 입사파중 부분 반사 안벽과 부유체의 상호작용)

  • Based on a linear potential theory, the boundary element method(BEM) is developed and applied to analyze the hydrodynamic forces and the motion responses of a floating body with a partially reflective sidewall. The hydrodynamic forces (added mass and damping coefficients) are dependent on not only the submergence of a floating body and the reflection of a sidewall, but also the gap between body and sidewall. In particular, the partial reflection of a sidewall plays an importance role in the motion responses of a floating body at resonant frequencies. It reduces the resonant peaks caused by resonance phenomenon due to the wave trapping in an enclosed fluid domain between body and sidewall. Developed predictive tools can be used to assess the motion performance of a floating body for various combinations of configuration of a floating body, wave heading, sidewall properties, and wave characteristics and applied to supply the basic informations for the harbour design considering the motion characteristics of a moored ship.
