  • Instrumentation device to the amount of water used by the user is a water meter by measuring management stability is necessary.   • 3상3선식 2소자 계량방식을 적용하고 있는 154kV 3상4선식 중성점 접지 고압 고객은 상 불평형시 계량오차가 발생하게 된다. 상 불평형시의 3상4선식 정상 계량방식과 3상3선식 계량방식의 계량오차에 대한 기 공개된 시험분석 자료를 기반으로 하여 본 논문에서는 3상4선식 공급선로에서 2소자 계량을 적용하고 있는 3상4선식 고객에 대하여 전력계량의 신뢰도 향상을 위해 제안된 기존의 3상4선식 전력량계를 활용하여 계량 환경을 개선하는 시공기술로서, 설비개선 비용이 거의 소요되지도 않고 무정전 시공과 함께 전력량계의 제작사양을 변경하지 않는 방법으로 계량 정밀도를 개선 할 수 있는 방안에 대한 검증시험과 적용성 분석 등의 개선대책에 대하여 기술한다.

  • Latest in Smart Grid projects are emerging as the biggest issue that smart meter should meet the security goal and the SW upgrade for compliance with future standard. However, unlike regular equipment, Smart meters should be designed in accordance with the regulation of legal metrology instrument in order to establish a fair trade-based business and unauthorized changes, it is not allowed and it is strictly limited by law. Therefore, this paper propose a new scheme of certification regarding type approval and verification for legal smart meter as analyzing the requirements of a smart meter regarding upgrade and security. This analysis shows that the proposed scheme comply with the regulation and the specification of smart meter by applying it to smart meter with smart card.

  • Freeze and burst water meter in winter causes many social costs, such as meter replacement cost, inability of water use, and secondary damage by freezing water. The government is making efforts to modernize local waterworks, and in particular, is promoting SWM(Smart Water Management) project nationwide. In this study suggests a new freeze risk notification information service based on the temperature by IoT sensor inside the water meter box rather than outside temperature. In addition, in order to overcome the quantitative and regional limitation of IoT temperature sensors installed nationwide, and AI based temperature prediction model was developed that predicts the temperature inside water meter boxes based on data acquired from IoT temperature sensors and other information. Through the prediction model optimization process, a nationwide water meter freezing risk information service was convinced.

  • The performance of a multi-head, computerized combination scaling system to automatically identify a group of agricultural products having a total weight within the target range has been optimized to reduce the package cycle time of the merchandise. First, the structure of the scale was modified to enable faster measurement by enhancing the dynamic stability during the process. Second, the high frequency noise in the measured signal was eliminated by a high frequency filter to provide more accurate weight data. Finally, the algorithm to identify a group of products with a total weight within the target range was modified to enable a user to select an optimal number of scales. According to the experimental verifications, this modified system reduced the package cycle time significantly and also was accurate in measuring the total weight of the selected products.

  • This paper deals a watt-hour meter monitor system with applying a Power Line Communication (PLC) modem and a Data Concentrator Unit (DCU). PLC modem uses the power line, so there is no need to install dedicated wiring. This system makes it possible to monitor the amount of electricity of previous current month metering data, so it can easily apply a PC-management for the electric charges and maintenance with gathering the metering data.

  • The market trends of automatic meter reading associated with smart water meters were investigated. Also, recent developments and field applications of key technology for automatic meter reading associated with smart water meters were analyzed. Smart water meters have been manufactured mostly in United States and Europe and have been expanded their business to Asia. Integrated water management system combining with the additional functions such as real-time consumption metering, cost notification, water conservation, leak detection, water quality monitoring, and flow control have been operated in automatic meter reading. Both water quality and quantity data measured from smart water meters and sensors were transferred to data concentration units through neighborhood area network, and then were transferred to integrated server through wide area network. The data transfer methods were determined by comprehensively considering urban scale, density of smart water meters, power supply and network topologies. Common data collection methods such as fixed network to data concentation units, vehicles drive by, people walk by, and drone fly by have been applied. The automatic meter reading associated with smart water meters are spread throughout the world, and both water and energy savings result in saving the money and reducing the greenhouse gases emission.
