Vietnam has proceeded the gradual reform without radical political change since launching the 'Doi Moi', the comprehensive reform policy adopted in late 1986. Vietnam has been evaluated as a country to perform the economic growth for 30 years successfully, although there were economic recessions for a short time. Through looking at the process of reform, while the state economic sector and foreign-invested sector have contributed to the economic growth in the initial stage of reform, the domestic private sector and foreign-invested sector's economic roles have increased and the state sector's role has been decreased, as the reform has been proceeded. As the state's developmental role has been revealed prominently in the reform process and state's involvement into economic affairs in Vietnam, it is reasonable, in part, to categorize Vietnam as a developmental state like East Asian developmental states. However this evaluation is tentative, as it seems that Vietnamese state's industrial policies have contributed economic growth partly and remarkable economic growth has been shown in the sectors that the government has not focused. In conclusion, Vietnam has changed into a mixed country which has the characteristics of East Asian developmental state formally and the features of Southeast Asian countries which have focused more on the foreign-invested developmental strategy.

남북한 경제통합 시에 이익지대 확대 방안을 모색하고, 남북한 경제의 발전적인 방안을 탐구하고자 한다. 한반도 공급망 이익지대를 분석하여 공급망 이익지대 확대 전략을 수립하고자 한다. 그리고 한반도의 경제통합 시에 경제적인 손실과 낭비, 시행착오를 줄이고 경제발전의 부흥기를 도모하기 위함이다. 현재 북한지역의 무게 중심지를 분석하고 향후에 인구의 유동에 의해 초래될 무게중심지를 시나리오 기법으로 분석하여 위험요인을 최소화 하고자 한다.

본고는 전자업계와 전국경제인연합회, 대한상공회의소, 한국무역협회, 중소기업협동조합중앙회 등 전 경제단체들과 공동으로 저작 재산권자들 만을 위해 제도 자체의 많은 문제점을 내포한 사적복제보상금 제도를 추진하는 것은 경제발전은 물론 사회발전에도 역생한다는 점을 들어 동제도 도입을 철회할 것을 요청한 바 있으나, 이를 계속 추진하고 있어 우리 산업계는 물론 전 경제계의 심각한 우려를 가져와 동제도 도입 추진을 즉시 중지하여 줄 것을 관련업계 연명으로 본회에서 상공자원부, 문화체육부, 경제기획원, 재무부, 대통령 비서실, 국무총리 행정조정실 등에 대정부 건의한 내용을 요약한 것임을 밝힌다. This study proposes strategies for economic development through mobile in Africa where mobile emerges as an infra to solve socioeconomic problems. It analyzes economy and ICT industry in Africa and studies several cases that are utilized in agriculture, finance, education, and healthcare. It also examines economic development theory and the impact of broadband on economic growth and development. It is necessary to leapfrog to mobile to achieve an information society and a compact industrialization based on ICT because fixed-line is very poor and expensive in Africa. Building a mobile broadband infra, supporting a dissemination of low-end smartphones and a government's support for mobile contents are necessary to achieve a leapfrogging development through mobile in Africa. The findings of this study provide additional insights for Korean ICT companies to consider a business in Africa.

In this paper, an economic feasibility study of wind-diesel hybrid power systems for an island in the Yellow Sea, where the maximum power generation is about 500kW, was performed. For the study, annual electric load variation and wind resource data of the island were collected and analyzed. HOMER program - a typical hybrid optimization model for electric renewables including wind resource, developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory - was used. Wind speed and diesel price were picked out as variables for the sensitivity analysis in order to find the economic accountability for the wind-diesel hybrid power system. As the result, even though it is not feasible economically under the present condition, if mean wind speed is over 3 m/sec. or diesel price goes up to 2.4 $ per liter, the wind-diesel hybrid power system for the island becomes a prospective candidate.

우리나라는 수도권 중심의 거점성장 정책을 통한 경제발전을 추진해 왔다. 거점성장 정책이 경제발전은 가져 왔지만 수도권의 인구집 중을 유발하였다. 수도권의 인구집중이 산업 부문에서는 노동력 공급의 긍정적인 측면으로 작용하지만, 정치ㆍ사회적 측면에서는 환경문제, 정책적 지원의 부담을 함께 가져온다 또한 인구의 편재로 인해 타지역과의 불균형을 유발하는 문제점도 내재한다. (중략)

과학기술의 뒷받침없이는 나라의 발전을 기대할 수 없다. 지금 우리 경제가 처한 어려움을 푸는 해법도 과학기술분야에서 찾아야 한다. 국력을 총동원해 과학기술 대중화운동을 전개하여 경제를 회생시킨 영국의 사례는 우리에게 좋은 교훈이 되고 있다. 우리 모두 전국민의 과학화가 지속적인 경제발전으로 이어진다는 점을 인식하고 과학기술 대중화에 대한 시각을 새롭게해야 하겠다.

한나라의 경제 부흥은 과학기술의 발전 없이는 이룰 수 없는 시대가 왔다. 문민정부 4년. 그동안의 과학기술분야 실천을 학점으로 보면 F학점이라고 하니 과학기술을 이처럼 푸대접하면서 경제발전을 기대할 수 있는가. 획기적인 과학기술정책이 하루속히 이땅에 뿌리를 내려야 하겠다.
