This study is intended to look into the effects of human, social and cultural capitals on economic independence and life satisfaction in disabled persons, and the reciprocal relationships. To achieve this, a survey was empirically carried out to the disabled. The findings were summarized as follows. As for the above-stated findings, human capital had a positive effect on economic independence, and social and cultural capitals had a positive effect on economic independence and life satisfaction, comparing those with rejection of the effect of human capital on life satisfaction and the effect of economic independence on life satisfaction. Consequently, human capital is not just a tonic for disabled persons' life, and economic independence has not just a reciprocal relationship as a mechanism to improve life satisfaction. Based on this result, we discussed the activation for practical and diverse human, social and cultural networking.

Korean government is driving the large telescope development project to improve the level of astronomical research. The objective of this study is to assess the economic effects of Korean large telescope project by employing a contingent valuation method (CVM) to provide policy-makers with useful and responsible information. According to estimating results, annually willingness to pay per household is 1,416 Korean Won. Consequently, the annual benefit of large telescope project is about 240.8 billion Korean won. This result contributes to provide policy makers with the quantitative information and for economic feasibility.

This study examined the economic burden of middle age householders supporting their family. They could not prepare for their later life because they are supporting their parents and children in their unstable employment. This study examined how to decrease the burden of middle age householders. Using the Korea Welfare Panel Study, this study analyzed data by hierarchical regression. The result showed that age, gender, education, unemployed, ownership of the house, number of employees, monthly income, and family relationship satisfaction had an effect on the economic burden of support by middle age householders. Based on the result, the researchers offered political suggestions for decreasing the levels of economic burden of support by middle age householders.

최근 인구의 고령화 추세 확대와 함께 건강 증진에 대한 인식고조 등으로 의료 산업에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이에 세계 각국에서는 의료산업의 중요성이 더욱 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 추세에 맞춰 산업연관표를 이용하여 의료자동화 산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석을 통해 정책적 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이에 산업연관분석을 활용하여 의료자동화 산업의 생산유발효과와 부가가치유발효과, 그리고 전후방 연쇄효과를 통하여 경제적 파급효과를 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구는 의료자동화 산업의 경제적 파급효과에 주목하여 의료 자동화 산업이 우리나라 경제에 미치는 영향 등을 최초로 분석하였으며, 다양한 파급효과 도출을 통해 정부 정책 판단의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

The aim of this paper is to determine the replacement time of containerships in economical viewpoint. Especially, there was a lot of vagueness to the cost data for calculation of an economical life in a containership. For this, a fuzzy number used to express the vague nature about a cost data. This paper developed the fuzzy cost model using fuzzy numbers, and to analyze more practically than the existing cost model. And the proposal model used to decide the economical life about various kinds of containerships.

본 연구는 에너지정책을 종합적 차원에서 일반경제정책과 병행하여 정량적으로 분석할 수 있는 수리모형 (numerical multi-sector general equilibrium model)을 개발하기 위하여 시도되었다. 모형은 크게 (i) 가격/기술변화 반응적인 투입-산출계수를 내생화한 "산업간 거래모형 (inter-industry production model)", (ii) 민간에 의한 최종부문 수요를 나다내는 "소비자 선택모형 (consumer choices model)", 그리고 (iii) 생산물시장과 본원적 투입요소시장, 수출입시장 등에서 민간기업 정부 및 해외라는 개별 경제주체간의 행태를 반영하는 "거시경제 (성장) 모형 (macro-econometric growth model)"으로 구성되어 있다. 이러한 방법은 분석경제를 충분히 세분하고 제(諸)경제변수들의 동시결정적 과정을 중시한 일반균형적 /부문적 접근방법 (general equilibrium/sectoral approaches)을 취함으로써 지금까지 단순한 거시경제모형(aggregate macroeconomic models)이나 전통적 산업연관모형 (static input-output models)에만 의존해 오던 경제예측이나 경제 및 에너지관련 정책의 효과분석이 한층 더 강화될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study was motivated by the awareness that little attention has been paid to this issue both theoretically and empirically, despite the fact that financial abuse causes serious problems which are difficult for the elderly to recover from. This study intends to explore what the patterns of financial abuse targeting the elderly are, what causes and sustains these abuses, and what makes it difficult to counter such financial abuses. Data analysis was based on individual and group interviews of ten professionals expected to encounter the most financially abused elderly in social welfare institutions. The thematic analysis shows that financial abuse is often caused and maintained in a trusting relationship through care and protection. Because financial abuse was inflicted on the vulnerable elderly in a state of reinforced psychological dependence based on a long and trusting relationship, it appears that it has been made with tacit acknowledgement and consent. Despite those complex dynamics, it is noted that financial abuse can be judged as such only when the elderly claim to suffer from harm. Rather, intervention without victims' acknowledgement tends to be perceived as violating their right to self-determination. This reality naturally leads to the termination of the necessary interventions with the victims in an abusive situation. Based on these results, discussion focused on more realistic and diverse approaches to the issue of financial abuse of older adults.

The increase in assertive and unilateral measures represents a key feature of the recent global trade environment. Against this backdrop, the EU is pushing to introduce the so-called "anti-coercion instrument(the instrument)," which aims to allow unilateral countermeasures in the event of economic coercion or threats from third countries. This paper examines the recent assertive trade environment and the legislative background of the instrument. It evaluated the necessity of and concerns arising from the instrument by comparing the existing EU trade policy, i.e., Trade Barrier Regulation (TBR). In addition, the paper aims to analyze the permissibility of the instrument under the WTO system, especially in the context of the principle of "strengthening of the multilateral system." Finally, the paper draws implications of the instrument in terms of our domestic policies that can effectively address economic threats or trade friction in the growing geopolitical crisis.

소셜벤처는 하나의 조직 안에 경제적, 사회적 가치라는 두 가지 미션을 동시에 추구해야하며 이를 하이브리드 조직이라 한다. 소셜벤처의 사회적 가치는 기상정한 사회적 대상이 그 수혜자이고, 경제적 가치는 소셜벤처의 투자자가 수혜 대상이 된다. 두 가지 가치를 실현하기 위한 기업 활동의 중첩 정도는 소셜벤처 기업 조직마다 다르게 나타난다. 소셜벤처에서 사회적 가치를 추구하기 위한 활동에서 경제적 가치도 함께 창출된다면 비교적 적은 노력으로 두 가치를 달성할 수 있을 것이고, 두 가지 가치를 위한 활동을 각각 전개해야하는 비즈니스 모델이라면 사회적 가치를 위한 기업 활동 중의 일부 또는 전부가 기업의 경제적 가치를 창출해내지 못하는 활동이 될 수 있다. 본 연구는 두 가치의 중첩에 따른 비즈니스모델의 세 가지 유형에 대한 선행 연구를 재고하고, 유형별 선호도를 독립변수로 지정, 각 유형별 투자 의도를 알아보고자한다. 특히 소셜벤처에 대한 긍정적 정서가 투자의도에 매개효과로써 영향이 있을 것이라는 가설 아래, 소셜벤처의 투자 생태계에서 긍정적 정서에 대한 중요성을 밝히고자 한다.

가금산업은 국민소득 증가와 식생활의 서구화로 생산액과 소비량이 증가하여 우리 농업에서 매우 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 그러나 세계 각지에서 나타난 고병원성 조류인플루엔자로 인하여 많은 경제적 피해가 발생하고 있으며, 질병의 인체감염으로 인간의 소중한 생명도 위협을 받고 있다. 우리나라의 경우도 예외가 아니어서 그동안 모두 3차례에 걸쳐 고병원성 조류인플루엔자가 발생하여 많은 피해를 입었다. 고병원성 조류인플루엔자의 발생으로 인한 경제적 피해는 가금생산농가에만 국한되는 것이 아니다. 질병 발생으로 인한 경제적 피해는 생산농가와 직간접적으로 연관된 사료업체, 부화업체, 가공업체, 유통업체, 외식업체, 및 기타 관련 산업에서 골고루 발생하며, 손실보전을 위한 정부의 재정지출 증가로도 이어진다. 이번 연구에서는 고병원성 조류인플루엔자(HPAI) 발생이 미치는 경제적 영향을 계측하고 이와 관련하여 현행 질병 방역체계의 개선 방향을 도출하였다. 근래 들어 고병원성 조류인플루엔자의 연중 발생 가능성이 우려되기 때문에 질병예방과 확산방지를 위한 방역체계의 검토에서 개선 방안에 이르기까지 포괄적으로 다루었다.
