This thesis will select one of the books that went out of print, and republish it using the ePub and PDF format to observe the effective and economic method to republish it as an e-book. Conclusively, e-book in PDF format was advantageous over ePub production. The ePub has limitations of electronically publishing the books went out of print prior to 21st century when storing the original text was not common, as well as book with complex layouts. The PDF format was able to capture and recreate the sensitivity that can only be presented by vintage books, also adding to the cultural value. To publish PDF e-books, the foremost requirement is to prepare a standardized system that allows comprehensive browsing of the current status of the book, and also creating an environment for copyrighted publishers to more actively publish e-books by diversifying the distribution platforms and properly allocating the profit generated by use of the copyright. This thesis provides a simulation of e-book publications, for small and medium size publishers and writers who are hesitant to publish e-books, to take more aggressive approach in entering the business.

2001년 경찰청 $\ulcorner$2001년판 교통사고통계$\lrcorner$ 자료에 의하면 사고피해의 정도를 나타내는 치사율에 있어서 중앙선침범사고가 과속사고와 함께 가장 높은 수치를 보이고 있으며, 대형 교통사고의 39.5%가 중앙선 침범에 의해 발생한 것으로 나타났다. 실제로 2000년 한 해 동안 총 사고건수 290,481건 중 중앙선 침범에 의해 18,931건 (6.52%)의 교통사고가 발생하여 사망자 1,472명, 부상자 35,046명으로 전체 교통사고 사망자의 14.38%, 부상자의 8.21%를 점하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 전체 교통사고에서 중앙선침범사고가 차지하는 비중 이 높아지고 있어 중앙선침범사고를 줄이기 위한 대책의 일환으로 중앙분리대, 표지병, 시선 유도봉 등과 같은 중앙선침범 예방시설물을 설치하고 있으나, 해당 시설물에 대한 설치기준이 없는 실정이다. 이렇듯 중앙분리대 설치기준의 부재로 인해 중앙선침범사고 발생과 이에 따르는 경제적인 교통사고 비용손실, 그리고 중앙분리대의 과다설치로 인한 국가 재원의 낭비는 간과할 수 없는 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 이러한 점에 착안하여 기존에 지방부 2차로 도로의 직선부에 대한 중앙선침범사고 예측모델이 개발되었고 본 연구에서는 그 연장선상에서 지방부 2차로 도로의 곡선부에 대한 중앙선침범사고 예측모델에 대한 중앙선침범사고 예측모델의 개발을 통해 중앙선침범사고에 대한 사회적 비용을 산정하고, 현재 설치하여 운영중인 중앙선침범 예방시설물의 설치비용간의 비용-편익분석을 통해 얻어진 기준으로 중앙선침범 예방시설물 설치의 가부에 대한 보다 현실적이고 비용-효율적인 중앙선침범 예방시설물 설치기준을 제시함으로써 교통사고 비용손실을 최소화하고, 중앙분리대의 효율적 설치방안의 도입을 통한 경제적 이익창출을 도모하고자 한다.

Technology transferors and technology transferees decide to transfer technology with various motivations as they share benefits and risks. On top of economic benefit factors and risk factors provided by technology transferees, technology transferors also make technology transfer decisions by taking into account various factors such as government policies and systems, as well as their management strategies. In this study, the factors influencing the technology transfer in the chemical industry and the influence on the technology transfer intention are analysed. As a result of this study, factors influencing technology transfer are economic benefit factor, technological factor, risk factor, and socio-cultural factor. A significant differences in the influencing factors between the technology transferors and the technology transferees are that the economic benefit factors are more considered by the technology transferees and the technological factors are more considered by technology transferors in technology transfer. Technology transferees shows the stronger intention to enter technology transfer than the technology transferors.

Financial instruments are economic and intangible assets that bring financial company tremendous economic returns when it is a success. Also, It is necessary to protect this because it is a product of effort made by a lot of human resources and materials. However, legal and institutional devices for financial instruments are insufficient currently and 'copying practices' are rampant throughout the industry in korea. This ultimately inhibits the utility and welfare of consumers, but also adversely affects the competitiveness of the financial industry. In order to finance innovation that new financial products and services have appeared, it is necessary to grant the appropriate rights, such as intellectual property rights of financial instruments. And, there is a need for measures to protect it. Thus, this study proposed new way protecting the financial instruments through Intellectual property right. It is the introduction of similar protection system to financial instruments, such as mechanisms that protect database producers in copyright law.

Focused in the characteristic of R&D on Geoscience and Mineral Resources as basic research area, we survey on methods of public works' economic impact analysis including cost-benefit analysis and resent technology evaluation methods and suggest apply-methods to conduct economic impact analysis on R&D of geoscience and mineral resources. To conduct economic impact analysis on the basic research area, it need to identification research's out-come not just output. In this perspective, we propose a method, Input-Output-Outcome Roadmapping to identify the outcome of R&D and show the relation of input, output, and outcome of R&D. Furthermore, noticing the different effects of R&D from public works, we directly evaluate the use-value of the academic theory or geological maps through Contingent Valuation Method(CVM) and others developed as evaluation methods on environmental goods. In indirect application methods, it can evaluate the partial of the pubic works' benefit with assuming R&D factors if R&D is a part of public works. If not, we evaluate the R&D's value as reductions of costs or additions of benefit with finding related public works.

절도란 경제적 이익을 꾀하려는 목적으로 타인 소유의 재물을 그의 허락 없이 가져가 본인이나 제삼자의 것으로 만드는 것을 말한다. 현재 엘리베이터 내에서 자주 발생하는 범죄 중의 하나가 바로 절도이다. 본 논문에서는 절도 범죄를 장면 전환 검출 방법인 컬러 히스토그램을 이용하여 추출한다. 추출된 키 프레임들은 범죄의 주요 장면들이다. 여기서 추출된 영상은 법원에 절도죄의 중요한 증거자료로 제출된다.

본 연구에서는 GIS, GPS, Web기술을 이용하여 레미콘 차량의 운행상황과 이동경로 등을 실시간으로 파악 한 후 차량의 위치와 목적지 도착시간, 복귀예정시간 등을 예측하는 레미콘 차량 관제 시스템을 레미콘 배치플랜트의 도입 시 효율성을 평가하였다. 그 결과 공사현장에서 복귀하는 레미콘 차량의 도착시간이내 복귀거리등을 사전에 미리 차량관제서버로 전송해 주는 알림기능으로 인해 배치플랜트의 다음 배차를 위한 레디믹스가 반자동적으로 작동하여 차량의 대기나 다음 배차를 위한 차량 위치 파악 등의 지연시간이 현저히 감소되었다. 이는 1일 8시간을 기준 20대의 레미콘 차량을 분석 한 결과 실시간 운행정보를 통한 배치플랜트의 가동으로 인해 1일 155분의 시간이 절감되어 일 평균 2.5대의 레미콘 차량의 추가적 운행이 가능하였으며, 이를 비용으로 환산시 일 평균 90만원, 월 약 1920만원의 추가적인 이익이 발생하여 레미콘차량 관제 시스템에 따른 배치플랜트의 작동은 기업차원에서의 경제적 측면을 고려할 때 매우 효율적인 것으로 판단되었다.

This study investigates the effect of the update Digital Rights Management (DMR) strategy on a firm's profit. The model developed by Kim and Talalayevsky (2007) is applied to the case of two representative Korean software firms. Specifically, this study shows the model suggested by Kim and Talalayevsky (2007) fits the reality of Korean firms' DMR strategies. Based on the result, this study makes some implications to managers and policy makers.
