The main purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of corporate PR practitioners whose opinions were quoted as news sources and of the related articles in the economic section of the nation's three largest newspapers. The results revealed that the PR practitioners were mostly males with the job title of general manager or manager working for large electronics/IT or financing companies in Seoul and near metropolitan areas. In particular, such overwhelming features were more clearly salient in the articles related to conflicts. However, the phenomena seem to have been somewhat eased since 2002 when the newspapers came out with the specialized economic section. Analyzing the articles in terms of the channel of covering news, theme of news, and the existence of any conflict, we found statistically significant differences in the characteristics of PR practitioners. In addition, the comparison between each period before and after the emergence of the specialized economic section also showed statistically significant differences in the characteristics of the PR practitioners in many cases.

부동산 시장은 다양한 요인에 의해 가격이 결정되며 거시경제 변수뿐 만 아니라 뉴스 기사, SNS 등 다양한 비정형 데이터의 영향을 받는다. 특히 뉴스 기사는 국민들이 느끼는 경제 심리를 반영하고 있어 부동산 가격에 영향을 크게 미치는 변수라고 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 뉴스 기사의 세분화된 감정 분석을 통해 전통적인 분석 방법보다 더 의미 있는 결과를 얻을 수 있는 부동산 가격 예측 모델을 생성하였으며 뉴스 기사로부터 심리 지수를 산출하기 위해 생성 AI 를 활용하였다. 제안하는 매매가격지수 예측 모델을 통해 부동산 시장과 뉴스 기사와의 관계성에 대해 파악할 수 있으며, 사회/경제적 동향을 반영한 부동산 가격 변동을 예측할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

The editorial elements which are used in this paper are made up of news categories, photograph articles, titles of article written bold strokes and contents of article. Of these elements, only the three elements of photographic articles, the titles of article written bold strokes and contents of article had some effects on the choice of articles. For the portal news, only the news categories, the titles of article written bold strokes and the name of newspaper had an effect on the choice of articles. Of the news genres such as politics, business, social affairs, sports, culture/entertainment, world news and IT/science, only the three genres of social affairs, culture/entertainment and world news had some effects on news users' choice. For the difference between man group and woman group in analyzing the choice of articles, there was the difference in four elements of business, sports, culture/entertainment and IT/science.

This essay traces the origin and the social function of medieval knights in Edwin Austin Abbey's murals ${\ll}$The Quest of the Holy Grail${\gg}$ in the Boston Public Library. Medieval knights in the Arthurian legend appeared in American novels at the end of 1850s and in political cartoons in the 1870s. They are featured in American Renaissance murals as well. ${\ll}$The Quest of the Holy Grail${\gg}$ painted in 1895 was the first of its kind. In Britain, the Pre-Raphaelites frequently painted medieval knights. Abbey fused the visual idiom of the Pre-Raphaelites and that of the Royal Academy of Arts in his depiction of knights. Unlike the Pre-Raphaelites, who usually focused on knights' activities, he emphasized their virtue. His representation of knights reflect the social and economic crises in America in the 1890s. After the Civil War, American society enjoyed economic prosperity but suffered from government corruption, economic inequality, and class conflict. Serious social problems such as poverty and inequality decayed American society. Writers and artists brought attention to these issues. This essay argues that Abbey criticized capitalists and expressed his hope for progress through the figure of Galahad as the iconic representation of civic virtue in ${\ll}$The Quest of the Holy Grail${\gg}$. Installed in the Boston Public Library, Abbey's murals performed a public function to warn the viewers of economic and social chaos resulting from government corruption. Abbey's American knights not only emphasized moral responsibility but also promoted patriotism. The artist refashioned medieval knights into American citizens, whose civic virtue became essential to an ideal leader in American society.
