한국데이터베이스진흥센터가 주관하는 2004년 제1차 공공기관 우수 데이터베이스(DB) 시상식이 지난달 20일 한국관광공사빌딩 지하 강당에서 개최됐다. 지난해 통계∙기상∙기업∙법률∙특허 등 5개 분야 DB 10종을 우수DB로 선정한 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 올해 공공기관 DB를 대상으로 우수DB 6종을 선정했다. 이번에 선정된 공공기관 우수DB 6종은 재정경제부, 문화관광부, 산업자원부, 건설교통부와 산하 공 공기관에서 운영하고 있는 데이터베이스 가운데 건설교통, 경제산업, 문화예술 등 3개 분야에서 품질이 우수한 각 2종씩의 DB가 선정됐다. 건설∙교통 분야에서는 한국도로공사의‘로드플러스’와 건설교통부의‘건설교통종합정보센터’가 선정됐고, 경제∙산업 분야에서는 조달청의‘나라장터’와 한국은행의‘경제통계시스템’, 문화∙예술 분야에서는 한국관광공사의‘Visit Korea’와 문화재청의‘국가문화유산종합정보서비스’가 선정됐다. 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 올 11월경 정보통신, 교육학술, 과학기술분야를 대상으로 제2차 우수 DB를 선정할 계획이며, 자세한 내용은 데이터베이스품질평가센터(www.dbq.or.kr)에서 소개하고 있다.

수도권 광역상수도는 관로 매설 이후 30년 이상 경과하여 수도관로 사고 발생빈도가 증가하고 있다. 이에 노후관로를 갱생하여 사고예방과 용수공급 안정성 강화를 도모할 필요가 있으며, 이러한 사업의 수행 여부에 대한 판단을 위해서는 사업 시행으로 발생하는 경제적 편익에 대한 정량적 정보가 필요하다. 노후관로 갱생사업의 경제적 편익은 크게 관로사고 피해저감 편익과 복구비용 절감편익으로 구분되는데 후자는 공학적 접근을 통해 비교적 쉽게 평가할 수 있는 반면에, 전자는 평가가 어렵다. 이에 본 논문에서는 조건부 가치측정법이라는 경제학적 기법을 적용하여 관로사고 피해저감 편익을 추정하고자 한다. 수도권 광역상수도 갱생사업의 수혜지역 주민 600 가구를 무작위로 추출하여 수도권 광역상수도 갱생사업이 시행되지 않을 경우 관로사고가 발생할 수 있음을 설명한 후, 관로사고를 막기 위한 지불의사액을 조사하였다. 분석결과 관로사고 피해 회피를 위한 가구평균 지불의사액은 톤당 약 41.7원이었다. 이 정보는 노후관로 갱생사업에 대한 의사 결정시 활용할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to delve into the work values of dental hygiene students. The subjects in this study were 465 students who attended three different colleges in Gyeonggi province. After a survey was conducted, the collected data were analyzed with SPSSWIN 12.0 program. The findings of the study were as follows: (1) As for the type of work values, the largest group of the students investigated attached importance to pay and reputation, as they gave a mean of 4.18 to those things. In detail, they put the most emphasis on economic compensation since they gave it a mean of 4.42. (2) Regarding their detailed outlook, there was significantly strong positive correlation between their view of achievement and of competency, between their view of economic compensation and of position, and between their view of recognition and of position. (3) As to the impacts of their general characteristics, their work values in pursuit of self-realization was statistically significantly different according to their motivation of choosing dental hygiene(P = .042). Their school(P = .011), academic school year(P = .023), actual work experience as a dental hygienist(P = .045) and motivation of choosing dental hygiene (P = .023) made a statistically significant difference to their contribution- oriented view of occupation. And their work values that accentuated pay and reputation varied statistically significantly with their school(P = .000) and academic school year(P = .000).

Since 2000, as importance of sourcing energy emphasized caused by instability of international oil price, interests toward Caspian countries as an alternative markets has increased. Especially, Azerbaijan, as middle Asian emerging exporting country, has performed drastic economic boom because of massive amount of foreign capital flowed in and construction of BTC pipeline. However, despite this economic surge, there are unbalanced economy which is merely focusing on energy industry and pressure from increase in real exchange rate and inflation. In order to analyze the sustainability of Azerbaijan economy, the total sample time period of this paper is from January 2001 to December 2007 and the term is divided into before and after BTC line construction. Vector Error-Correction Model has been applied to analysis confirming short-term and long-term effect. As a result, Azerbaijan now face the symptoms of the recession during the time period and this is due to high oil price and increase in export influenced by BTC oil pipeline resulting in decrease in real interest rate. This conclusion is to affect competitiveness of manufacturing industry, base industry for economic proliferation, in a negative way.

This study was conducted to establish a service philosophy as a major ideology in the New Economy and Society. The service philosophy, which is the ideological foundation to lead the service economy era, should be an idea that can develop the new economy society, reflecting the nature principle of the universe and human being. The service philosophy was derived based on the study of the human representative ideology and the study of the new economy and service essence. A good idea must be consistent with the principles of the universe and be consistent with the essence of the human representative ideology, so that it reflects the core principles of the universe and the core of human representative ideas. In addition, the central idea should reflect the changes of the New Economy Society in the future. Therefore, the essence of the service and the change of the New Economy Society were analyzed. We analyzed the social and philosophical significance of the macroscopic cosmology and the microscopic quantum theory of modern physics. We analyzed the essence of Oriental and Western representative ideas and derived implications of these ideas from the viewpoint of modern society where service is central. Based on the essence principle of the universe and human, we have established the service philosophy structure and derived the human, historical, social, economic, and managerial aspects of service philosophy. The structure of the derived service philosophy was presented, and discussions were conducted for future research.

Inclusive business is a social business that is promoted with the aim of supporting the economic independence and quality of life of poor people in developing countries. Inclusive business is emerging as a new development cooperation method that can lead to development effects such as income generation and economic independence by engaging the poor, traditionally recognized as 'the target of aid' in terms of development cooperation, in market-based economic activities. This study considered how this inclusive business overcomes various barriers in the market for the poor in developing countries and generates social values and economic returns. To this end, based on previous studies, an analytical framework was established to analyze inclusive business models and business types. And based on the multiple case study method, 17 cases of inclusive business of social enterprises were selected to analyze the characteristics of their business models and the types of business. Through this study, characteristics of value proposition mechanisms, value creation mechanisms, and value securing mechanisms of inclusive business based on public-private cooperation were derived. Also, how these inclusive businesses create social and economic values for the poor were analyzed. The findings present theoretical and practical implications for an inclusive business model.

지방자치제도의 본격적인 실시로 인하여 성숙되어 가고 있는 지방화시대에 있어서 지방자치단체가 가장 필요로 하는 것은 지역의 경제성장을 통하여 지역주민의 복지를 향상시키는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 지역주민의 복지향상은 광범위한 부문에서 다양하게 나타날 수 있지만, 가장 기본적으로는 지역내의 고용을 안정케 하며, 지역내의 소득수준을 향상시켜 주민들이 높은 삶의 질을 경험하게 하는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 그러나, 지금의 우리현실은 자기 지역의 경제발전만을 맹목적으로 추구할 것이 아니라 이웃과 더불어 힘을 합쳐도 어려운 난관을 헤쳐나가기 어려운 처지에 직면해 있다. 따라서, 서로가 자기의 몫을 주장하면서 다툴 것이 아니라 힘을 합쳐야 할 시점에 도달하였다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 지리적으로는 인접하고 있지만 정서적으로는 가깝고도 먼 전라남도와 경상남도가 고부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 특화산업의 적절한 배치를 통하여 높은 수준의 경제번영을 이룩하면서, 동시에 기존의 쌓여있는 지역감정의 벽을 뛰어넘어 동서경제협력을 이루고 궁극적으로는 동서화합을 도출할 수 있는 방안을 모색하려고 한다. 각 지자체에 적합한 특화산업의 육성은 인접한 지자체들이 상호의존적이라는 측면에서 여러 가지의 지역문제를 동시에 하결할 수 있을 뿐만아니라 한정된 자원의 합리적인 이용과 더불어 국토의 균형있는 개발을 가능하게 할 수 있다는 측면에서 많은 긍정적인 요소를 내포하고 있다. 전라남도와 경상남도가 지역에 적합한 특화산업의 육성을 통하여 동서경제협력을 유도하기 위한 방안으로는 우선적으로 역내의 산업구조를 고도화시키고, 산 학 연 관의 협조체계를 구성하며, 지자체간의 협조적인 게임을 유도하여 가시적인 빠른성과의 도출을 위한 방안을 모색하고 타 지자체에 입지한 경쟁력있는 특화산업에의 지역민의 투자를 유도하고, 공동브랜드의 사용 및 시장의 공동개척등을 고려할 수 있을 것이다.

Total number of recorded earthquakes in Korea is more than 2,000 of which 48 were catastrophic. The impacts from infrastructure damage due to an earthquake to production facilities and lifelines may spread across boundaries of several regions via import-export relationships and can bring serious economic impact to other regions. The economic impacts from unscheduled events stem not only from the damage and direct losses, but also from the indirect losses during the recovery and reconstruction periods. To recover and reconstruct the facilities and lifelines damaged by unexpected events through investment or government financial aid, both the direct and the indirect economic impacts from an event need to be measured in regional and interregional contexts. Direct economic impact is the direct change of production and demand due to the disruption of production facilities and lifelines from an unexpected event, and indirect economic impact is the change in other sectors due to inter-industry relationships. The purpose of the paper is to analyze various economic impacts of an earthquake, especially impacts on transportation networks in Korea. We collected spatial and economic data from Korea, and analyzed and estimated final demand loss and commodity flows from the unscheduled event.

'2009 대한민국 녹색에너지대전'이 지식경제부 주최, 에너지관리공단 주관으로 지난 10월 13일 서울 삼성동 코엑스(A홀 옛 태평양홀)에서 개최되었다. 올해로 제29회를 맞이한 대한민국 녹색에너지대전은 중국 호주 독일 일본 등 총 12개국에서 145개 업체가 참여하여 국내외 고효율 기기 및 최신 에너지 절감 기술, 신재생 에너지 설비 등을 한자리에 선보였다. 올해에는 '신재생에너지관' 등 4개의 대주제관과 'LED 고효율 조명관' 등 국가 신성장동력을 상징하는 4개의 특별테마관을 중심으로 총 587개 부스 규모로 구성됐다. 특히 이번 전시회에는 정부가 강력히 추진하는 녹색성장정책에 관심이 고조되면서 LG전자, 삼성전자를 비롯해 효성, 현대중공업, LS산전 등 대기업이 대거 참가, 에너지효율 및 온실가스 저감 관련 최신 기술을 선보였다. 이번 전시회에서는 효과적인 에너지절약 방법을 찾는 관람객들과 국내외 최신 에너지 기술 도입을 원하는 산업체 임직원, 신재생에너지 및 기후변화대응 분야 신규 사업에 관심 있는 투자자 등 전시장을 찾는 모두에게 유익한 정보를 제공하는 뜻깊은 국제적인 행사가 되었다.

본 연구는 냉음극방전등의 기동특성에 방사성동위원소의 이온화작용을 이용하여 기동특성의 개량을 시도하려는 것이다. 냉음극이나 열음극방전등을 막론하고 일반으로 사용되는 것은 상용전압인 저전압에서는 직접 점등이 불능하기 때문에 순시 또는 한시적인 승압장치가 필요하나. 예컨데 네온 관과 같는 냉음극방전등에서는 한시적인 승압 및 방전전류의 제한때문에 누설변압기를 사용하고 또 형광방전관 및 저압수은방전관과 같은 열음극방전관은 저전압기동을 위한 음극의 가열과 순시적인 승압장치로 점등관 및 쵸크코일등을 사용하고 있다.이와같이 방전등에서는 고전압기동으로 말미암은 승압장치 때문에 경제적 부담과 전력의 손실을 초래하고 있다. 그러기 때문에 저전압기동을 해결하는 것과 방전등의 방전개시전압의 부정으로 인한 방전개시전압의 시간적인 변동을 해결하는 것이 중요한 방전등 기동특성의 개량이다. 그리고 일반방전등에서는 그다지 문제되여 있지 않지만 방전이 늦임도 기동의 한 요소로 되어있다.
