경관 조명의 활성화에 따른 전반적인 흐름을 소개하고 이에 따른 경관 조명 알고리즘을 시작으로 객관적인 경관 조명 평가의 필요성을 제시하였다. 보다 객관적인 요소인 경제성 평가에 초점을 맞추어 실내조명과 옥외조명시스템을 공학적으로 비교 분석하였고 실내조명에서 적용되었던 경제성 평가법을 실외 조명용으로 재해석하여 구체적인 경관 조명 설계를 제시하였다. 또한 경관 조명에서의 공학적 접근과 설계를 접목한 평가를 통해 적절한 조명 시스템을 분별할 수 있도록 하였다.

This study aims to examine various discourses of the urban landscape discussed in the fields of new cultural geography, spatial political economy, and landscape architecture in order to propose a theoretical framework for the interpretation of a contemporary urban landscape. The notion of landscape is a modern idea that separates humans, especially the bourgeois subject, from nature, and then achieves the visual possession of nature. New cultural geographers have studied the political aspects of landscape. According to them, landscape as materialized discourse is "a way of seeing" which includes the vision of the upper class, the imperialistic view, and the masculine and voyeuristic gaze. In addition, spatial political economists have paid attention to the economic aspects of landscape. They have emphasized that the material production of landscape is indispensable in the production of surplus values in the capitalistic system. Thus, we insist focusing dialectically on both the materiality and ideology of landscape.

항만경관은 항만의 특징을 드러내는 매력적인 요소로서 항만재개발에 있어 중요한 요소가 되고있다. 최근에는 항만재개발사업에 있어 항만경관의 중요성을 인식하고 항만 고유의 특색을 살린 수변경관계획 수립을 통해 수변경관을 개선함으로서 사람들이 모이는 매력적인 항만으로 변모하고자 한다. 도심의 친수공간으로서 잠재력이 큰 부산남항은 다양한 수변공간계획 및 개발사업이 추진되고 있지만 관련 기존 항만개발사업은 기능성과 경제성에 초점이 맞추어져 있어 수변경관에 대한 고려가 매우 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 부산남항의 경관을 개선하고 매력적인 항만으로 변모하기 위한 수변경관계획 수립을 하기 위해 기초자료 수집을 목적으로 부산남항을 7개 지구로 구분하고 각 지구의 수변경관(색채, 랜드마크, 야간경관) 현황을 조사하였으며, 조사결과를 토대로 지구별 수변경관의 문제점을 분석하고 개선대책을 제시하였다.

A cultural landscape results from a combination of human activities for resource-use and the response of nature to such artificial interference. Nature provides resources necessary for human life on the Earth in terms of his survival as well as living. Humanbeing has developed civilization using the benefits that nature provides. In the past, a harmonious relationship between mankind and nature had ensured sustainability of resource-use for human. We can find such facts from the existence of cultural landscape. However, rapid economic growth and a development-oriented logic caused from such socio-economic change led to the environmental crises and the depletion of various resources at global level. In the perspective of preparation for such problems, we investigated the background for establishment, function, and value of cultural landscapes, in which a dynamic equilibrium exists between a supply of natural resources and human needs. Furthermore, we discussed a new economic model including ecological consideration, a strategy for ecological management of environment, and a framework for transmission of traditional culture to new generations on the basis of a cultural landscape regime.

This paper estimated the value of waterside landscape and ecosystem of Han River basin with a double-bound dichotomous choice type of CVM. We used the exponential willingness to pay model to represent the nonnegative willingness to pay. This model is found to be especially important in analyzing a double-bound dichotomous choice model. The total willingness to pay was estimated as 705.5 billion won per annum. This suggests that current budget size for water quality and ecosystem conservation for Han River needs to be expanded.

자원식물을 소재로 이용하는 생물산업은 21세기 경제성장을 주도할 핵심기간산업이며, 미래형 고부가가치산업이다. 현재 지구상에는 약 55만종의 식물이 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있으나, 인간의 손길이 닿지 않은 천연 강우림 등의 미개척지가 상당수 존재하고 있어 더욱 많은 종들이 존재할 것으로 추정된다. 자원식물들 중에는 작물로의 개발이 가능하거나, 개발할 필요성이 높은 식물들이 많이 있다. 자원식물들은 예로부터 식용, 약용, 관상용, 유지용, 기호용, 밀원용, 섬유용, 향신료용, 향료용, 당료용, 호료용, 염색용, 수지용, 탄닌용 등으로 구분되어 이용되어 왔다. 자원식물은 종에 따라 꽃, 줄기, 잎, 뿌리 및 종자 등 부위별로 다양하게 산업적 소재로 활용되어 왔다. 최근에는 건강에 관한 관심이 급증하면서 다양한 건강 기능성 상품이 개발되고 있으며, 관련 시장이 급속하게 성장하고 있다. 특히 자원식물 등 천연물을 소재로 한 건강 기능성 상품은 안전성이 보장되며 우수한 생리활성이 있는 것으로 밝혀지면서, 자원식물을 소재로 한 건강 기능성 상품의 개발에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 다양한 자원식물을 대상으로 이들의 활용가치를 분석하여 상품화할 수 있는 방법의 개발이 절실히 필요하다. 또한 주 5일제 실시 및 여가활용에 관한 관심이 급증하면서 농촌 경관산업에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 농촌 경관산업은 국민의 여가선용 및 복지향상에 효과적일 뿐 아니라 지역주민과 관광객이 함께 즐길 수 있는 관광산업으로써 지역 이미지 강화를 통한 지역 홍보, 지역 내 일자리 창출 및 경관산업에 사용된 생물소재를 이용한 바이오산업의 활성화 등의 장점을 지니고 있다. 또한 농촌 경관산업은 자연과 농촌을 활용한 자연 친화형 관광단지를 조성하여 친환경, 고부가가치형 종합산업을 추구하는 추세이다. 그러므로 경관산업 및 이를 활용한 바이오산업의 소재로써 자원식물의 역할은 매우 클 것으로 생각된다. 특히 각 지역에 자생하는 고유의 자원식물을 활용하면 지역 특화 경관산업 및 바이오산업의 발전에 크게 이바지 할 수 있으며, 이로 인하여 지역 경제 활성화 및 친환경 건강 기능성 상품에 대한 수요를 충족시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 따라서 친환경 건강 기능성 소재 개발과 농촌 경관산업을 활용한 생물산업에 적용할 수 있는 산업적 가치가 우수한 자원식물의 다양한 기능을 분석하고, 각 자원식물별로 특성에 맞는 개발 방안을 구축하여 다양한 산업화의 소재로 활용하여야 할 것으로 생각된다.

Windpower turbines have positive values for visitors with regard to tourism and learning. On the other hand, it is clear that windpower turbines have negative impact on the landscape, particularly when the level of landscape is high. The impact of windpower turbines on the visitor's value is composed of two elements: the viewingvalue which is independent of the level of landscape and the landscape value which varies with the level of landscape. The net visitor's value of windpower turbines is the sum of these two values with opposite signs. This study used a choice experimentation method to value the impact of windpower turbine construction in the mountainous area in Korea. This study estimated the viewing value, the landscape value and the visit value as the sum of the two values. The estimated results demonstrated a significantly positive viewing value, a significantly negative landscape value, and weakly negative net visit value in average.

This study investigates the interaction mechanisms and processes between cyber space and real space. In particular, we analyze the relationships between changes on the economic landscape of the Bookchon region and the information supply and demand for this area on the Internet Blogs. In order to obtain the behavioral data about how people get information for Bookchon area and the reaction afterward, we perform questionnaire survey. The results of analysis reveal that there are significant connection between real space and cyber space, Internet Blog in particular. Internet Blog is the major media obtaining information about Bookchon area for major portion of people. Most people visit Bookchon after searching informations about it via Internet Blog. In particular, young generations who possess better capability to treat social media. At the same time, female, student, and office workers show these attitudes very strongly. We introduce a conceptual model for the interaction processes between cyber space and real space based on the survey data analysis, and propose a simple theoretical model for the dynamics of the total number of visitors about specific place with the experience of cyber space visit.
