다양한 재무정보를 이용하여 기업간 경쟁적 벤치마킹을 수행하는 것은 매우 어려운 작업인 동시에 분석에 상담한 시간이 소요된다. 본 연구에서는 재무정보를 이용한 기업간 경쟁적 벤치마킹을 효과적으로 수행하기 위하여 대표적인 자율신경망 모형인 자기조직화 신경망을 분석에 이용하였다. 자기조직화 신경망은 다차원적인 재무자료를 2차원 출력 공간으로 투영함으로써 결과를 시각화하는데 매우 효과적이며, 시각화된 결과는 재무적인 경쟁우위에 따라 기업을 군집화함으로써 효과적인 경쟁적 벤치마킹을 수행할 수 있도록 한다. 본 연구에서는 1998년. 1999년, 그리고 2000년 상반기까지의 국내 제조업체 재무구조 분석사례에 자기조직화 신경함을 적용하여 재무적 경쟁우위에 따른 기업들의 군집화 모형으로서의 가능성을 제시하였다.

최근 글로벌 경쟁이 치열해 지면서 가격경쟁력이 뒷받침되지 않으면 신흥 시장에 대한 대응이 어려워져 가격경쟁력의 중요성이 부각되고 있으며, 구조적인 비용 상승 추세로 기업의 원가 압력이 증대되고 있고, 이러한 변화된 경쟁 환경에서 생존하기 위해서는 전체적인 생산성 향상이 필수이다. 가격경쟁력 강화 및 원가압박을 해소하고 품질, 가격, 납기 전반에 모방할 수 없는 차별화된 경쟁력의 확보는 생산성 향상을 통해서 실현할 수 있고, 생산성 향상을 통한 경쟁력 있는 기업 육성은 우리 제조업을 발전시키는 토대(infra structure)이며, 기반 시설의 확충이다. 본 연구에서는 현재 외국의 혁신방법을 우리산업 현실에 대한 고려 없이 단순 도입으로 국내 실정에 맞지 않아 상당한 시행착오를 격고 있으며, 국내에 벤치마킹 할만한 제조혁신 방법론이 거의 없고, 벤치마킹하려고 해도 기업의 영업비밀이라 배우기도 쉽지 않은 상황에서 우리산업 현실에 맞는, 중소 중견기업의 맞춤형 생산성 혁신 지원도구로 중소기업의 자생적인 혁신을 위해 중소기업의 수준에 맞는 제조혁신 방법을 국내외 제조혁신 전문가로 컨소기엄을 구성하여 한국생산성본부에서 개발된 한국형제조혁신 방법론을 제조기업에 적용하여 성공적인 결과를 다른 기업에 적용 할 수 있도록 하는데 목적을 둔다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌연구를 통해 일본의 TPS(Toyota Production System), 미국의 Lean 시스템 및 6시그마 시스템에 대하여 살펴보았고, 한국형 제조혁신 모델인 KPS(korea production system)를 통신장비 제조회사인 M. 사에 적용하여 실증하였으며, 그 결과 우수한 성과를 보임을 확인할 수 있었다.

Benchmarking is an effective tool supporting improvement of corporate competitiveness and development of management strategy, however, its effectiveness may be compromised if its target and approach are not appropriate. Notably, the construction industry of Korea is unique in that it has a number of competitors sharing the same category and is significantly exposed to changes in external environment in terms of legal, regulatory and policy frameworks. Such characteristics make target corporate category rather than single company more suitable as benchmarking target and necessitate analysis of external environment. The construction market has a major impact on the overall United States economy. Recent statistics estimate the gross domestic product (GDP) of the U.S. construction industry at some $416.4{\$}$ billion dollars, representing approximately $4.5\%$ of the U.S. GDP. Because the business environment in construction is highly competitive, the participants in the industry must improve their performance and processes to survive. Hence, Benchmarking has been generating interest in the construction industry. This paper provides an overview of the CII Benchmarking and Metrics Program. Following some background and a descriptive discussion of the database, an abridged presentation of result of data analysis. The adoption of benchmarking in Korean construction industry can be another opportunity to improve Korean construction industry.

본 연구의 목적은 DEA를 사용하여 지방해양수산청의 생산효율성과 경쟁력을 측정하고자 하는 것이다. DEA를 사용한 분석 결과에 따라 비효율적 지방해양수산청은 항만행정과 공공기관의 생산 효율성을 강화하기 위하여 수범 지방해양수산청을 벤치마킹할 것이 권고된다. 생산효율성에 관한 자료는 모든 활용영역에서 정책 입안자에게 방법론을 제공하고 다양한 체제에서 운용할 수 있는 기초가 될 것이다.

본 연구는 각 프로세스가 조직에 미치는 상대적 영향을 고려한 조직 전체의 효율성을 평가하고, 조직의 효율성을 개선하기 위하여 조직을 구성하는 여러 프로세스 중에서 어떤 프로세스를 우선적으로 개선해야 하는지를 결정하며, 더 나아가 비효율적인 프로세스를 개선하기 위하여 어떤 프로세스를 벤치마킹해야 하는지를 결정할 수 있는 체계적인 방법을 제공한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 다음과 같은 중요한 세 가지 과정을 따른다. 첫째, DEA(data envelopment analysis)의 CCR 모형을 이용하여 프로세스의 투입요소와 산출 요소를 바탕으로 개별 프로세스의 효율성을 평가한다. 둘째, 도출된 개별프로세스의 효율성을 Lovell과 Pastor의 순수 산출요소(또는 투입요소) DEA 모형의 산출요소로 이용하여 서비스 단위 조직 전체의 효율성을 평가한다. 셋째, 앞서 도출된 개별프로세스의 효율성과 서비스 단위 조직의 전체 효율성을 각각 DT(decision tree)의 예측변수와 목표변수로 활용하여 각 서비스 단위 조직의 특성 및 상황에 따라 개선해야 할 프로세스를 선택하는 규칙을 생성한다. 제안한 방법을 통하여 기업은 비효율적 조직과 프로세스를 발견하고 조직의 효율성을 개선하기 위하여 어떤 프로세스를 우선적으로 개선해야 하는지를 결정할 수 있다. 이를 통하여 기업은 오늘날 기업 경쟁력의 핵심인 프로세스를 좀 더 효과적으로 평가 및 관리할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The Korean semiconductor industry is the top export item, and its technological prowess is also higher than that of its competitors. However, the technology gap with rivals will narrow. And the semiconductor industry is facing difficulties due to trade friction. Therefore, semiconductor firms should be more efficient in their production. we study analyzes the efficiency semiconductor firms using DEA model. We evaluate the CCR, BBC efficiency and RTS(return to scale) of 30 Korean semiconductor firms. There are a total of 13 efficient DMUs with a BCC of 1. There are a total of 6 efficient DMUs with a CCR of 1. A total of 10 DMUs were IRS in Scale Efficiency and a total of 9 DMUs were CRS in Scale Efficiency and a total of 11 DMUs were DRS in Scale Efficiency. We also suggest the semiconductor firms which can be benchmarked based on analyzed information.

1990년대 중반이후 급격한 성장을 이룩한 국내 이동통신서비스는 핵심 성공요인과 비즈니스 모델이 해외의 벤치마킹이 되고 있다. 그런데 시장 성숙기의 진입과 제 3세대 기술로의 진화, 번호이동성의 시행으로 인하여 경쟁이 치열하게 전개되고 있으며 유무선 통합 및 디지털 컨버전스라는 새로운 패러다임을 주도해야 하는 전략적 과업을 안고 있다. 이에 따라 국내 이동통신사업자는 내적인 능력의 확충과 우월한 경쟁전략을 바탕으로 경쟁우위를 창출하여야 하며 이는 기업의 지속적인 생존과 수익성 확보의 관건이 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 이동통신사업자의 기업능력, 경쟁전략, 경쟁우위에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악하기 위하여 기업능력과 경쟁전략에 초점을 맞추어 접근하였다. 본 연구 결과에 의하면 마케팅능력이 경쟁전략과 경쟁우위를 형성하는 공통 요인이 되었으나 사업자별로 핵심 능력과 핵심 경쟁전략은 차이가 존재하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 전략적 시사점을 제언하였다.

The bankruptcy possibility of apartment construction firms has been incresed because of the environment of current apartment construction industry. This paper analyzes the efficiency of apartment construction firms using DEA model. We evaluate the CCR, BCC efficiency and RTS of 25 apartment construction firms. We also suggest the apartment construction firms which can be benchmarked based on analyzed information. The result shows that four enterprises whose values of CCR efficiency are 1, and ten enterprises whose values of BCC efficiency are 1. RTS indicates IRS of 21 firms and CRS of 4 firms.
