Development of managerial decision-making support technology model for supporting knowledge intensive consulting process (지식집약형 컨설팅프로세스 지원을 위한 경영의사결정지원 기술모델 개발연구)

  • Recently companies are confronted with a much more sophisticated business environment than before and at the same time have to be able to adapt to rapid changes. Accordingly, the need for selecting among alternatives and managing systematic decision-making has been steadily increasing to respond to a more diverse customer needs and keep up with the fierce competition. In this study, we propose a framework that consist of problem solving procedures and techniques and knowledge structure built on processes to support strategic decision making. and discuss how to utilize simulation tools as the knowledge-based problem solving tools. In addition we discuss how to build and advance the knowledge structure to implement the proposed architecture. Management decision support systems architecture consist of three key factors. The first is Problem Solving Approach which is used as reference. The second is knowledge structure on business processes that includes standard and reference business processes. The third is simulators that are able to generate and analyze alternatives using problem solving techniques and knowledge base. In sum, the proposed framework of decision-making support systems facilitates knowledge-intensive consulting processes to promote the development and application of consulting knowledge and techniques and increase the efficiency of consulting firms and industry.

A Study on Competitiveness Changes of Specialty Construction Firms Under No Restriction in General and Specialty Contracting (겸업제한 폐지에 따른 전문건설업체의 경쟁력 요소 변화에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the restriction of contracting business between general and specialty contractors are deregulated, which means the elimination of the traditional market entry block in the Korean construction industry. It could be a threat and/or an opportunity to construction firms, and requires establishing new business strategies in order to obtain relative competitiveness between the general and the specialty. Under this change in the industry, this research performed to provide some suggestions for specialty firms in setting up their new business strategies by analyzing various changes of their competitiveness elements. This study extracted 20 core competitiveness elements from major 6 competitive categories required in doing specialty contracting business, and their relative importance between the 20 elements were measured. It was found that the specialty's relative competitiveness has been greatly changed and affected by the deregulation of the protective business restriction.

  • The ultimate goal of hotel corporations is to maintain their existence by securing competitive advantages over their competitors. In order to secure competitive advantages, they need to shed off the conventional paradigm of company management, which increasingly grows weaker as the industrial society turns into a knowledge-based one, and make effective use of knowledge, which is the core source of their wealth and competitiveness, in their management. Thus this study set out to identify knowledge management strategy to result in great management performance to hotel corporations. It also aimed to suggest specific action plans for them to do knowledge management efficiently based on the results. The causal relations between the knowledge management strategy and management performance were examined to figure out the former's influences on the latter. As a result, Two types of knowledge management strategy seemed to have positive(+) impacts on competitive advantages, but negative(-) impacts on financial performance.

  • 식스 시그마 경영은 제조분야에서 높은 수준의 품질과 정밀성을 달성한 것처럼 서비스 부문에도 적용할 수 있는 강력한 도구이다. 그동안 한국기업의 문제점인 고객 불만족, 고비용 저효율, 진정한 혁신성과를 거두지 못한 구조적인 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 방안이 '식스시그마 경영'이라고 할 수 있다. 식스 시그마 경영은 시행성과를 나타내는 프로세스의 모든 요소를 시그마수준으로 변환하여 현재의 경영상태 분석과 향후 경영관리 지표로 삼을 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 국내 기업에 적용 가능한 식스 시그마 모형을 제시하고 성과에 대한 측정지표를 설정하며, 경로분석적인 접근방법으로 개념간의 유의한 경로를 탐색하는데 있다.

  • 최근 고객관계 중시와 내부 프로세스 혁신의 대 명제 하에 경영 패러다임이 급속히 변화하고 있는데, 인터넷과 네트워크를 기반으로 하고 있는 최근의 비즈니스와 경쟁전략에 대한 연구는 대부분 새로운 비즈니스 창출이라는 측면에서 지나치게 온라인 기업들에 초점이 맞추어져 있다. 그러한 점에서 본 연구의 주된 목적은 고객만족과 내부 프로세스 최적화라는 품질경영의 핵심원천을 지원하기 위하여 IT와 결합된 전자적 품질경영기법의 구성요소를 제시하고 주요성공요인을 파악하여, eCRM과 관련된 학술적 연구자료를 제공하고 기업의 입장에서 보다 효과적인 의사결정의 기반을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위해 e-비즈니스 내부활동, 업무성과, 경영성과, 그리고 상황요인으로서의 비즈니스 특성 및 정보관리 인프라간의 관계에 관한 연구모형 및 가설을 설정하여 분석하고자 한다. 연구모형의 분석을 통해 업무성과 향상을 위한 전자적 고객관리 활동에서 정보시스템 기능성과의 상호작용효과를 확인한 점은 본 연구에서 중요한 시사점인 동시에 기여점으로 작용하였다고 할 수 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide success factors to help the firms who are supposed to initiate knowledge management. To do this, this study investigate the case of knowledge management practice of Samsung SDS in detail. In doing so, we can identify the success factors for knowledge management. We can find failure and success factors through knowledge management in Samsung SDS. By doing so, it may be possible to "how to do it". "It" is about introduction to the knowledge management.

  • Weather significantly shapes daily life, impacting consumer behavior and psychology. Changes in weather influence ad receptivity, directly affecting corporate sales. Businesses strategically leverage weather in marketing efforts. Mobile devices have exponentially increased ad exposure, with real-time connectivity enhancing exposure time. Despite the need to empirically confirm weather's impact on mobile ad acceptance, research is lacking. This study explores weather's influence on mobile ad receptivity, considering environmental changes like air quality. Results aim to assist digital advertisers in refining targeted strategies with weather information.
