The Plan for Promotion of Civil and Military S&T Cooperation and Activation of Dual Use Technology Program (민군기술협력 촉진과 민군겸용기술사업 활성화 방안)

  • Since the end of the cold war, technical tie-up between private corporations and an army in developed countries has increased a lot, and the trend is spreading through developing countries rapidly. To cope with the circumstance actively, the dual use technology program for both private corporations and an army was begun in Korea in 1998. With the program, overlapping investment was resolved and technology transfer was stimulated. And the standardization and information exchange saved considerable national budget and made possible economic profit. Yet, the combination project of 4 ministries and offices showed problems such as loose cooperation and, low industralization record. However, developed countries are out of the mere stage of dual technology development and turn into broad technical tie-up including future prediction, national competitiveness improvement, and the private company's leading participation and they are systemizing them very fast. Korea also set up the national defense reform plan with the blueprint of future military force improvement, budget increase for national defense research, and increased participation of private corporations, and created Defense Acquisition program Administration to support them. The innovation of national defense system brings forward the need to link the private and military innovation. Korea has pursued the fast growth through assimilation, absorption, and improvement of foreign technology. But now, Korea has to focus on self innovation, original technology, parts and material. As this applies to private companies and military equally, it is important to concentrate limited resources for the effective technology cooperation. Considering this, the strategies to activate the dual use technology are program concept and range extension, task-deduction way improvement and future-oriented common task deduction, and promotion system improvement.

A Study of the Effect of Entrepreneurial Education on Entrepreneurial Motivation: Focused on Mediating Effect of Entrepreneurship (창업교육이 대학생들의 창업동기에 미치는 영향: 기업가정신의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Entrepreneurial education for university students furnishes necessary knowledges and fosters competences of potential entrepreneurs and help them change their attitudes toward start-up of a new business. This study examines how entrepreneurial education affects promoting entrepreneurship and stimulating entrepreneurial motivation of university students. Testing mediating of entrepreneurship between entrepreneurial education and motivation is another aim of this study. Regression analysis was used to examine each hypothesis of the study. Following refers to summary of the findings of the study; at first, entrepreneurial education affects entrepreneurial motivation of university students positively. Secondly, entrepreneurial education influences promoting entrepreneurship of students. Thirdly, entrepreneurship has a positive effect on entrepreneurial motivation significantly. Lastly, entrepreneurship plays a mediating role between entrepreneurial education and motivation of students. Both theoretical and practical implication were provided based on the findings of the study.

  • 산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국생산기술연구원이 주관하는 "제10회 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상"시상식이 4월 26일 일산 킨텍스 그랜드볼룸에서 열렸다. 정부포상제도는 미래지식산업인 패키징산업 종사자의 긍지와 자부심 함양의 계기를 실천하고, 패키징산업 종사자의 사기진작과 패키징산업 활성화를 도모하는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 한국국제포장기자재전(KOREA PACK)과의 동시개최로 패키징산업 종사자간 정보교류 극대화 및 공동체 의식 함양으로 일체감을 조성함은 물론, 패키징산업 기술인의 기술개발 의욕을 고취한다는 평가를 받고 있다. 제10회 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상 시상식에서는 코리아스타상 기업부문, 학생부문, 공로부문으로 구분하여 시상이 진행됐다. 기업부문은 패키징 완제품, 친환경패키징, 패키징관련기계(설비) 및 관련부품, 패키징인쇄(라벨링), 패키징원부자재 생산 및 가공공정, 패키징디자인 등의 분야에서 신기술 개발 또는 개선으로 수출 신장, 매출 수익 증대 및 발명특허 획득을 통해 패키징 기술력 발전에 기여한 기업의 패키징제품 또는 패키징디자인을 대상으로 진행되고 있으며 학생부문은 패키징 디자인 관련분야 전공자로 패키징과 연관된 컨셉으로 상품성, 창의성, 표현성, 친환경성, 지속가능성 등이 어우러진 독창적인 패키징제품 또는 패키징디자인을 대상으로 한다. 또한 공로부문은 패키징 산업 관련 산업계, 학계, 연구계, 유관기관에 종사하는 자로서 패키징 관련 핵심 기술개발, 경영, 마케팅 면에서 패키징 산업 발전에 기여한 공적이 뚜렷한 자, 패키징산업발전 정책연구 및 패키징산업 육성에 기여한 기업 또는 개인을 대상으로 하고 있다. 이번 행사에서는 기업부문 29개 제품과, 학생 14명, 공로 2명에 대한 포상이 진행, 국무총리상에는 (주)더우주의 '우주 페이스 마스크(OOZOO FACE MASK)'가 수상했으며, 산업통상자원부장관상에는 현대글로비스(주)외 2개사, 한국생산기술연구원장상에는 (주)풀무원 외 10개사가 수상했다. 학생부문에서는 안양대학교가 산업통상자원부장관상을 수상했다. 공로부문으로 진행된 시상식에서는 서영철 Flair Flexible Packaging 대표이사와 이명훈 한국포장시스템연구소장이 산업통상자원부장관 표창을 받았다. 본 고에서는 제10회 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상 수상작들을 살펴봄으로써 최신 패키징 경향에 대해 알아보도록 한다.

  • In line with post-1970s industrialization, the manpower shortage in fishing villages has been fueled by rapid desertion; young adults and middle-aged people have tended to avoid fishing by migrating to cities, driving the emergence of a national issue in terms of securing fisheries management succession. For the fisheries industry to maintain competitiveness, we need to cultivate young adults and middle-aged people to be leaders of the domestic fishing industry through promoting inspiration for the fishing industry, teaching fisheries expert knowledge, and fostering the ability to promote business. In addition to safe supply of marine products through continued fisheries operation, securing young and skilful workers is essential in order to promote balance development of domestic industries, including job creation. The study therefore seeks to provide measures to foster specialists in order to enable the transfer of management through an opinion survey of fishermen. To cultivate specialists for enabling the transfer of management, the following solution should be promoted at the state level. First, to support the introduction of young and talented workers to the fisheries industry through transfer of management, Second, in order to enable the transfer of management, change is required first in the fisheries industry for it to become a value-added industry. Third, despite fisheries being a composite industry that is syncretized to tertiary industries from primary industries, the fisheries industry is still recognized as a labor intensive industry, which reflects the current status of fisheries education.

  • As Internet usages proliferate, the interests on cyber space and virtual community increase. The purpose of this study is to find the role of cognitive absorption as an intermediate variable. It is a variable that links factors that affect on members' usage of virtual community and cognitive absorption. The result of this study shows that challenges, skills, perceived reality, and needs affect the usage of virtual community through cognitive absorption, while only interactivity affects the usage of virtual community directly. This shows that cognitive absorption plays an important role in the usage of virtual community. The major contribution in this study is that cognitive absorption influences on the usage of virtual community greatly. If there is a way to increase the intensity of cognitive absorption, it will strongly help increase the performance of virtual community.

Efficiency Analysis of Total Logistics Service Industry (종합물류서비스업의 효율성 분석)

  • Recently, as a way to revitalize the comprehensive logistics service industry, the government is trying to foster the concentration of the logistics industry. The introduction of institutional and legal measures for the maintenance of the logistics system will be expanded to the support limit for the professional logistics business, and the support for acquisitions and mergers will be strengthened. The expansion plan is also being promoted. In this paper, to analyze the efficiency of the integrated logistics service industry using DEA, we analyzed management efficiency using financial data for a total of 15 integrated logistics service industries. In the case of inefficient companies, the projected values for efficient company operation were presented, and the companies that could be benchmarked were identified through reference sets. In addition, I would like to consider the company's operation plan in consideration of scale profitability.

Development of Valuation Model on Trademark Rights for Intellectual Property Revitalization (지식재산권 활성화를 위한 기업상표권 가치평가 모형 개발)

  • Intellectual property rights play a key role in employment creation and income generation plays an important role, especially in the creative economy. Many companies are ultimately increasing efforts to boost the company's financial performance, such as maximizing profits by building a strong brand assets amid committed to brand management in this paradigm. Reasonable evaluation and commercialization of technology transactions, financial assistance, investment decisions, trademark brand value for the reactivation (revitalizing) for the purposes of M & A, litigation, brand strategy will be said to be very important. In spite of the importance, the awareness of the property and the capabilities to assess are hardly sufficient. Thus, this study, targeting companies with valid trademarks for value assessment, conducted case analysis by cost method and income approach; the analysis presented the result from 2.05 million by the cost method to 2.7 million by the income approach applied to a variable discount rate and adjustment contribution. However, now that the implication was drawn from a single company, further studies covering case study and application plan according to scale and type of diverse company groups should be continued.

A Study on the Development of the Korean Internet Banks (한국 인터넷은행의 발전 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Korea came to see its first internet bank as 'K bank' obtained the digital-only banking license in December 2016. This paper suggests ways to foster internet banks of Korea in their early stage by analyzing the successful cases of overseas internet banks. The followings are the key success factors identified from those cases across Europe, Japan, China, and USA: Support from the related government authorities; Stable governance structure; Distinct business capabilities based on information & communications technology(ICT). These points lead to the following implications for Korean internet banks. Regulatory restrictions on owning and running internet banks should be lifted to facilitate innovation. Policies to support internet bank industry should be introduced as it is a vital part of the 4th industrial revolution. Finally, internet banks should strive to differentiate themselves by utilizing their ICT capabilities. Subjects of the further research hereafter should include the following: Analyzing the ongoing performance and developments of digital banks in Korea; Deriving success factors from the analysis; Assessing the influence and effects on financial market and economic environment.

  • This study helps to understand menu quality and find out management strategies in the seafood buffet restaurant business. The major objective of this study is to analyze how menu quality affects customer satisfaction through customer value. It also provides preliminary data for improving seafood buffet restaurants in the rapidly changing circumstances of the restaurant business by establishing strategies for high quality menu. The result of the study shows that menu quality(taste, nutrition, freshness) was directly related to customer value, which positively affected customer value. Especially, taste was the most influential factor. Moreover, customer value had a positive effect on customer satisfaction. This result means that such menu quality factors as taste, nutrition, and freshness should be considered in order to satisfy each customer.
