Most of the North Korean defectors are the socially disadvantaged, and formed the lowest class in South Korean society. Their main objectives are to achieve economic wealth. In this process, North Korean defectors have often committed the crime or have been criminal victims. The purpose of this study was to propose the effective preventive measures after analyzing the actual situation of North Korean defectors in criminal behaviors and criminal damages. This research has studied of the literature on the criminal behavior and the criminal damage by North Korean defectors, utilized the relevant statistical data, cited the news for the relevant cases, and proposed the effective preventive measures of criminal behaviors and criminal damages of North Korean defectors by doing in-depth interviews with personal protection officer First, in order to prevent criminal activity by North Korean defectors, we should uplift the identity as the members of Korean society, systemize the initial adapt education, enlarge the employment protection and the resettlement helper system, manage North Korean defectors according to adaptive type, develop the network, establish the management department for the defectors, strengthen the training of prison inmates, and strengthen the management of unprotected people. Next, in order to prevent the criminal damages of North Korean refugees, we should manage vulnerable North Korean defectors effectively, maintain the liaison between the personal protection officer and North Korean defector, arrange the personal safety measures in advance when traveling abroad, enhance the legal education for usual living in Korean society, and perform the re-education for the female socialization.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual situation of crime victimization by North Korean defectors and to examine whether any of the protection and support systems for defectors has a statistically significant effect on the perceived effectiveness for preventing the criminal victimization of North Korean Defectors. The subjects of this study were 107 police officers from the 17 provincial police departments. Independent variables were (1) social adaptation education in Hanawon, (2) protection officer system, (3) legal support system, (4) private participation system, (5) support for family life, (6) community participation activity. And the dependent variable is the crime prevention effectiveness for the defectors. As a result of multiple regression analysis, it was found that the independent variables that have a significant effect on the effectiveness of prevention of crime victimization were protection officer system and support for family life. First, in order to prevent the crime victimization of North Korean defectors in advance, three kinds of protection officer system that will be received after the transfer of the residence should play the role successfully. Second, the efforts of the government and municipalities alone are insufficient for the early settlement of North Korean defectors. Therefore, it is necessary to diversify the support and protection programs for North Korean refugees through cooperation with civic organizations. Third, it is necessary to expand the legal education time so that North Korean defectors do not suffer crime because of lack of legal knowledge. Fourth, in order to prevent North Korean defectors from being victimized by various kinds of crime, it is necessary to actively support them so that family life can be stabilized.

Safety is considered as a very important factor when tourists select tourist spots, which means that the desire for safety in the tourism industry is very high. Therefore, a specialized field for the safety of the tourism industry is necessary. Already, there are staff members who are responsible for safety in various tourism sectors, but they have been led through knowledge based on work experience without professional education. In order to train specialists who are responsible for the safety of the tourism industry, research in related fields is indispensable, and universities in charge of research and education systematically construct surveys of related fields, and through experts I have to train. In the field meaning tourism security, there is Hospitality Security. Hospitality means 'to hospitality', 'to be entertaining', Hospitality Industry is used to cover the tourism industry in its exhaustive sense. Security is a term that refers to safety and security. Therefore, Hospitality Security which the two meanings together, that is, korean word hospitality security, tourism security can be said. Already in the US experts in the field of Hospitality Security explained the importance through related books. Currently in Korea, well-known tourism related universities operate subjects in the Hospitality field, and the security field also manages subjects at several universities. So, We collected the subjects managed at each university, analyzed them, and selected subjects of Hospitality Security. If the results of research through continuous research accumulate, the value as academic will be further increased, and it will be possible to have a role responsible for the safety of the tourism industry by producing experts accordingly.

The purpose of this study was to seek practical intelligences for certain persons who wish to be a guard by studying for what practical public guards' recognition of organization and vocation is. The results of this study were as follows. First, Six study participants presented 'Respect within members', 'Atmosphere like family', 'Premium members', and 'Economic compensation & wealth of budget' as essential requirements for the best guard organization. Second, they also presented 'Systematic daily task & training', 'Exact selection system', and 'Strong cohesion & teamwork' as strong points of their organization. Third, they mentioned 'Internal evaluation system', 'Lack of education contents', and 'Limited position circulation' as weak points of their organization. Fourth, they mentioned that they feel encouraged itself as they work in the best guard organization, while they were skeptical when the citizens did not cooperate with them and they were not fully rewarded for their injury. Fifth, they expressed 'Difficulty of business cooperation', 'Unstable living patterns', 'Inconsistent assessment', and 'Continuing tension' as difficulties for performing the duties and stress causes. Lastly, they recognized of job security and self-esteem as they work in the best guard organization as advantages of a job, while they recognized of controlled life, low salaries and welfare level compared to duty importance and risks as disadvantages of a job. Consequently, students who wish to be a guard should consider job and organization attributes and set their career goals refer to these results.

The police do their best effort to make all security standards of competence and law enforcement suit the public's expectation, take precedence over the direction of the security policy to what the people want, and realize the Republic of Korea in which the people are happy with a strong police security. On the other hand. The people demand the fairly high level of moral integrity to the police who are in charge of law enforcement at the forefront than any other organization. Suggesting various measures for enhancing the organizational level of police ethics in police ethics awareness of police offices have been working on, yet the prevailing view that still insufficient. In this study, after analyzing the current moral status of the police, I suggest ways to improve as follows: First, strengthening the training and improving the program of police ethics. For this, securing professional teacher and implementation of customized ethics training are necessary. Second, the subject of human nature test should be expanded. The targets are limited to less than a supervisor. It should be expanded to all police officers. Third, the improvement of the organizational culture. For this, introduction of mentoring system and enlightening-oriented inspection is needed. Fourth, reducing the burden of manpower by reinforcing personnel. By defusing lack of police personnel, the police will be able to conduct intensive and effective ethics education. Finally, the provision of the stress relief measures for the police. To this end, the police requires constant efforts of the organization itself.

Brown rats (Rattus norvegicusBerkenhout, 1769) were eradicated from Sasudo Island (33°55'13.04" N, 126°38'19.98" E), an uninhabited island designated as Natural Monument No. 333 and the largest breeding site for the streaked shearwater (Calonectris leucomelasTemminck, 1835) in South Korea. Twelve eradication studies were conducted from November 2015 to February 2021. The survey was conducted using a line census method that entailed slow wandering throughout the island and identifying starting and returning points. Capture traps were installed around traces of Rattus norvegicus,such as excrement and identified holes. As a result, 2 to 6 individuals were captured at each instance, except for the last time, when no individuals were captured. It is hypothesized that brown rats arrived at Sasudo Island via vessels arriving at the island for leisure and fishing. After the damage to streaked shearwater caused by brown rats was confirmed in 2006, entry to Sasudo Island was strictly prohibited through security measures, and marine clean-up programs that began in 2013 and continuous capturing since 2015 have been successful in eradicating brown rats. To maintain and manage the condition in Sasudo Island, preservation and management measures, such as strict visitor control, are necessary to prevent the inflow of new brown rats in the future.

This study researched police intervention to ensure the safety of Multi-swarm events. And this study researched best practices of foreign countries. This study propose a solution. It used the situation to police intervention and domestic Multi-swarm events leading research and safety management systems. The purpose of this research is to deduce the frailties of the operating condition of Korea's national crisis management system through a comprehensive perspective analysis. It is then to present efficient measures through the enhancement of these infirmities. For this, after examining the fundamental theory, we presented a development direction based on the current status of the 6 key systems composing the national crisis management system. We also included items regarding each of the policy proposal in our conclusion. The fundamental theory of Korea's national crisis management system has been integrated based on a comprehensive security concept. However, the system development which drives the integrated structure still remains solely as a legal and structural category. Thus, operating, informing-oriented, supporting management, and rearing professional manpower systems have yet to be cultivated with efficiency. In conclusion, this research is to present a development direction from a conceptual dimension and to analyze the current status of the 6 key systems which are law, organization, operation, information-oriented, support management, training, and education. Finally, this research highlights the policy measures to fully maximize system efficiency.

According to the children's crime risk is increased, national police agency has implemented child safety keeper system since 2009. Despite the importance of child safety keeper studies, there was no seeking of empirical research and development plan for the operation. The purpose of the study is to find ways to improve the effectiveness of the child safety keeper system. To achieve the research objectives, all the child safety keepers were surveyed by quota sampling in the 16 provincial police agency. Questionnaire analyzed by frequency analysis, t-test, Avova, multiple regression analysis. The result of analysis is the need to strengthen links with child safety keeping house, participatory setting for the patrol route, the improvement of education management and supervision, adequacy of allowance, strengthening contact with children for job success awareness.

The objectives of this study is to analyze the curriculum based on the hypothesis of bodyguarding related department and to research the differences of the amongthree groups of public bodyguarding, private bodyguarding and bodyguarding professors with its significance in order to establish the development of direction in education curriculum for bodyguarding related departments at university level,For this purpose, this study categorized the sample group into three kind and surveyed them, Those are public bodyguarding members, private bodyguarding member, and the professors and 121 samples were selected in those three with the help of self-admistrated method, which is one of the sampling methods, First, among the current bodyguarding related theoretical disciplines significant differences among groups was presented by the evaluations on bodyguarding science, traffic safety management, fire extinguishing, secretary science, administration, psychology, sports education, sport physiology, jurisprudence and philosophy, which showed differences among groups through the multiple comparison, But there was no significant difference among the means of the groups concerned with the other curriculum, We could know that more curriculum is needed to facilitate the private bodyguarding in disciplines and system of the current theory in this study. For it is predicted the demand for the private bodyguarding will increase continuously in the future. for which we should prepare. Thus it is required to increase the theoretical curriculum of the private bodyguarding. That is. the models of curriculum like introduction to machinary guarding. introduction to communication. computer theory and so on are required to be established. In addition to that. it must be noticed that the current private bodyguarding is not guaranteed by the legitimate institution. But the private bodyguarding is related to the police service. thus the curriculum of jurisprudence and police science should be studied together.
