What this research aims are as follows. First, it aims to examine the difference in gender ratio of single men and women in the entire nation and Gyeongbuk area, and also the ratio of single men in marriageable age in Gyeongbuk area by si, gun, dong, eub, and myeon, Second, the social-economical characteristics of single men in marriageable age in Gyeongbuk area, and third, the causes of problems related to marriage for single men and the solutions. As a result, it was revealed that imbalance of current gender ratio in farming area, farm villages falling behind socially and economically, young women evading marriage with young men in farming area, and difficulty of making a girlfriend, all served as the factors that made it difficult for single men to get married. It is impossible to overcome these factors by individual efforts made by single men in farming area. Therefore, these problems would be resolved by taking such measures as construction of social infrastructure in farming area in Gyeongbuk area, enhancement of status of women in farming area, and enhancement of awareness for men in farming area.

본 연구는 경북지역의 11개 관측소와 인근 9개의 관측소의 강우자료를 이용하여 경북지역에 한정된 확률강우량도를 작성하였다. 최근 행정구역별 치수계획의 수립이 빈번해지고 소규모 유역의 개발로 인한 홍수량 산정 등이 빈번해지고 있다. 그러나 대부분이 강우관측소가 유역내에 위치해 있지 않고 인접한 기상관측소의 자료를 이용하고 있는 실정이고, 공공기관이나 실무를 수행함에 있어 유역의 강우량 적용에 있어 소규모 유역의 강우량이 지점강우량에 의해 결정되므로 어느 정도의 편차를 보이는지 추정이 사실상 곤란하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경북지역에 한정하여 지점강우량을 빈도해석하여 확률강우량도를 작성하여 강우관측소가 인접하지 않아도 소규모 유역의 확률강우량의 근사치를 추정하여 지점빈도해석과 비교할 수 있도록 확률강우량도를 작성하였다. 경북지역인근 강우관측소의 자료를 강우 분석하여 확률분포형을 선정한 결과 거창, 구미, 대구, 문경, 밀양, 봉화, 안동, 영덕, 영주, 울산, 의성, 제천 충주, 추풍령, 합천은 Gumbel 분포가 적합한 것으로 나타났으며, 보은은 2변수 Log-Gumbel 분포가 적합한 것으로 나타났으며, 영천, 울진, 태백은 Gamma 분포가 적합한 것으로 나타나고 포항은 GEV 분포가 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

경북북부지역의 한약재중 중금속별 평균농도는 수은 0.037mg/kg, 크롬이 0.093mg/kg, 니켈이 0.108mg/kg, 구리가 0.475mg/kg, 아연 3.14mg/kg, 망간 1.52mg/kg, 철 7.83mg/kg 그리고 카드뮴, 납 그리고 비소는 검출되지 않았다. 이값은 한국산 평균치와 비교하여 매우 낮은 값이었으며 이로 미루어 경북 북부지역이 다른 지역에 비하여 한약재의 재배지로 적절함을 판단할 수 있다. 경북지역에서 재배된 한약재를 중국산과 비교하여 보았을 때 몇 가지는 중금속 함량이 낮은 값으로 나타났으나 뚜렸한 차이점은 확인되지 않았다.

Recently, local government has adopted the film location as the strategies for regional development and has established local film commissions for facilitating the film location. The film locations in Gyeongbuk have been grown gradually since Taejo Wang Geon, TV series was filmed in KBS on-location set of Mungyeong, and the government of Gyeongbuk established the Geeongbuk film commission in 2006. However, the film locations in Gyeongbuk are confined to filming some products in Gyeongbuk, and there's few film-related firms in Gyeongbuk. Furthermore, the film industries in Gyeongbuk is consumption-led and the capability of film-related firms is still weak. Therefore, Gyoengbuk film commission should play the wide roles, making the film-friendly institutions, creating local atmosphere of collaboration, fostering film-induced tourism, and maturing local film culture, as well as the general roles of film commission, offering the film location services, database services and networking.

The survey of weed occurrence was conducted to identify problem weed species in the paddy field. The 320 sites of the 13 regions in Gyeongbuk Province were investigated from June to July, 2013. In the whole region, 51 weed species were identified including 34 annuals and 17 perennials. The highest importance value of annual weed and perennial was dominant 88.4 and 48.7%, in Gumi region, respectively. The most dominant weed species in paddy fields of Gyeongbuk Province were Monochoria vaginalis var. plantaginea (10.80%), followed by Lemna paucicostata (10.74%), Bidens tripartite (8.77%), Echinochloa oryzoides (7.17%), and Scirpus juncoides (6.20%). The similarity of paddy weeds in 13 regions observed through TWINSPAN analysis was distinguished by Ludwigia prostrata, Scirpus juncoides, Lindernia dubia, Polygonum aviculare, and Alopecurus aequalis var. amurensis. The weed species, Ludwigia prostrata, was divided into the four regions, Gyeongju, Gumi(direct seeding cultivation), Youngcheon and Euiseong and ten regions, Gumi, Bonghwa, Sanju, Goryung, Youngdeog, Pohang, Sanju, Andong, Yecheon, and Cheongdo.

자연광물자원의 채광으로 조성되거나 자연적으로 생겨난 동굴은 사람들이 평소에 경험할 수 없는 신비한 체험을 제공할 수 있는 관광자원으로도 활용될 수 있다. 현재 우리나라에 있는 동굴의 수는 260개소에 달한다. 그 중에서 천연기념물로 지정된 동굴이 12개소, 지방기념물로 지정된 동굴이 29개소이며, 나머지 219개소의 동굴은 미지정 상태로 남아있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 경북지역을 사례로 하여 동굴의 관광적 특성을 살펴보았다. 경북지역에는 천연기넘물 1개소, 지방기념물 2개소, 특수동굴 2개소, 기타동굴 13개소 등 18개소의 동굴이 분포하고 있다. 18개소의 동굴중 개방 동굴은 울진에 있는 성류굴이 유일하며, 동굴의 지역별 분포를 보면 문경에 절반에 해당하는 동굴이 분포하고 있는데 이것은 문경이 다른 지역과 달리 석회암과 무연탄이 많이 분포하여 예전부터 시멘트공장과 연탄공장이 발달한 것에서 그 연유를 찾을 수 있다. 봉화에 4개소가 있으며, 울진에 2개소, 경주, 영주, 안동 등에 각각 1개소씩 분포하고 있다.

The career orientations of an individual are affected by his/her career anchors that are comprised of needs, values, and capabilities. This study is intended to understand the career orientations by way of discovering the career anchors that are possessed by IT workforce in Daegu-Gyeongbuk regions. In particular, such demographic factors as gender, age, job tenure, and job title were investigated to see if these factors in fact affected the career anchors of IT workforce. To achieve this purpose, we collected questionnaires from 269 IT workers in the regions. The results of this study is expected to contribute to our understanding of the career orientations of IT workforce in the region.
