In the hydraulic room of a forging press machine, a system which can detect and prevent risks at its early stage is needed because there may be a leakage due to the damage of the connection parts of the piping which can endanger human life and mechanical damage. In this paper, the system to automatically recognize a leakage of hydraulic fluid in terms of using the pan/tilt camera from a remote place is implemented. It finds the bounding boxes which are recognized with object regions in the process of labeling and detects the proper leakage regions of hydraulic fluid with the ratios of width and height of the bounding boxes and compactness of the leakage shape. Also, it performs noise removal and calibration for transition and rotation of image as a preprocessing process. The experimental results show that the proposed system has been verified to detect the leakage regions accurately in various sources of light.

In previous researches for iris feature extraction, they transform a original iris image into rectangular one by stretching and interpolation, which causes the distortion of iris patterns. Consequently, it reduce iris recognition accuracy. So we are propose the method that extracts iris feature by using polar coordinates without distortion of iris patterns. Our proposed method has three strengths compared with previous researches. First, we extract iris feature directly from polar coordinate circular iris image. Though it requires a little more processing time, there is no degradation of accuracy for iris recognition and we compares the recognition performance of polar coordinate to rectangular type using by Hamming Distance, Cosine Distance and Euclidean Distance. Second, in general, the center position of pupil is different from that of iris due to camera angle, head position and gaze direction of user. So, we propose the method of iris feature detection based on polar coordinate circular iris region, which uses pupil and iris position and radius at the same time. Third, we overcome override point from iris patterns by using polar coordinates circular method. each overlapped point would be extracted from the same position of iris region. To overcome such problem, we modify Gabor filter's size and frequency on first track in order to consider low frequency iris patterns caused by overlapped points. Experimental results showed that EER is 0.29%, d' is 5,9 and EER is 0.16%, d' is 6,4 in case of using conventional rectangular image and proposed method, respectively.

This paper concerns with automatic generation of fuzzy rules which can be used for pattern classification.
Feature space is recursively subdivided into hyperspheres, and each hypersphere is represented by
its centroid and bounding distance. Fuzzy rules are then generated based on the constructed hyperspheres.
The resulting fuzzy rules have very simple premise parts, and they can be organized into a hierarchical
structure so that classification process can be implemented very rapidly. The experimented results show
that the suggested method works very well compared to other methods.

Pacman is one of the world-famous and have been chosen game in the game room at the arcade. In this paper, pacman game gives you the ability to perform by simple hand movement alone. First, we obtain binary RGB image to extract skin color, and convert into binary image YCbCr by minus the luminance in this image. Next, we extract the hand region by the product of an binary RGB image and binary YCbCr image. Finally, the hand region, we obtain the center of gravity by the minimum bounding rectangle and the center of the hand pixel area, and we used to obtain the center of the hand area with an average of two center of gravity. In other words, we presented the game of motion that can take the place of arrow key by using the center coordinates of hand. In addition, these experiments showed the average movement and error rate, and cause of the error type was also investigated.
Conventional GrabCut algorithm is semi-automatic algorithm that user must be set rectangle window surrounds the object. This paper studied automatic object detection to solve these problem by detecting salient region based on Human Visual System. Saliency map is computed using Lab color space which is based on color opposing theory of 'red-green' and 'blue-yellow'. Then Saliency Points are computed from the boundaries of Low-Frequency region that are extracted from Saliency Map. Finally, Rectangle windows are obtained from coordinate value of Saliency Points and these windows are used in GrabCut algorithm to extract objects. Through various experiments, the proposed algorithm computing rectangle windows of salient region and extracting objects has been proved.
To get a good result of the feature-based stereo matching, contour of buildings must be extracted exactly. In this paper, an algorithm that extracts contour of flat top buildings exactly is proposed. The Algorithm is composed of three steps. One is to find corner points of 4 types in whole image and another is to extract exact lines between coners by edge following technique, the third is to extract exact contour of buildings using binding structures. We have a good result in extracting contour of buildings.

Facial analysis is used in many applications like face recognition systems, human-computer interface through head movements or facial expressions, model based coding, or virtual reality. In all these applications a very precise extraction of facial feature points are necessary. In this paper we presents a method for automatic extraction of the facial features Points such as mouth corners, eye corners, eyebrow corners. First, face region is detected by AdaBoost-based object detection algorithm. Then a combination of three kinds of feature energy for facial features are computed; valley energy, intensity energy and edge energy. After feature area are detected by searching horizontal rectangles which has high feature energy. Finally, a corner detection algorithm is applied on the end region of each feature area. Because we integrate three feature energy and the suggested estimation method for valley energy and intensity energy are adaptive to the illumination change, the proposed feature extraction method is robust under various conditions.
Usually it is difficult to extract facial regions in a complex image by using only a predetermined skin color. Expecially, it is more difficult to separate them from background regions that contains the skin color. This paper proposes a face detection method by using gradual range expansion of an initial skin color. By analyzing the skin color distribution several images that are collected in the Web, the range of dense distribution is selected as the range of the initial skin color. In each expanding step, expanded regions in the image are tested whether they can be actual facial regions by using the information of the shape of general face and the location of face organs. The shape of general face is modeled as an ellipse and the aspect ratio of its bounding box is used to define the shape constraint for faces. Only the eyes and lips are used as the face organs, which can be easily detected by extracting horizontal edges in the expanded regions. through several experiments, it is confirmed that the proposed method can detect exactly not only faces having partly distorted regions by highlight but also faces neighboring similar color regions.

In this paper, the system to automatically recognize a leakage of hydraulic fluid by the pan/tilt camera from a remote place is implemented. It finds the Minimum Boundary Rectangles(MBR) which are recognized with candidate leakage regions in the process of labeling and detects the proper leakage regions of hydraulic fluid with the width and height of MBRs and the area ratios of the MBRs and the candidate leakage regions. The experimental results show that the proposed system has been verified to detect the leakage regions accurately in various light conditions.
Since the release of Meta's Segment Anything Model (SAM), a large-scale vision transformer generation model with rapid image segmentation capabilities, several studies have been conducted to apply this technology in various fields. In this study, we aimed to investigate the applicability of SAM for water bodies detection and extraction using the QGIS Geo-SAM plugin, which enables the use of SAM with satellite imagery. The experimental data consisted of Compact Advanced Satellite 500 (CAS500)-1 images. The results obtained by applying SAM to these data were compared with manually digitized water objects, Open Street Map (OSM), and water body data from the National Geographic Information Institute (NGII)-based hydrological digital map. The mean Intersection over Union (mIoU) calculated for all features extracted using SAM and these three-comparison data were 0.7490, 0.5905, and 0.4921, respectively. For features commonly appeared or extracted in all datasets, the results were 0.9189, 0.8779, and 0.7715, respectively. Based on analysis of the spatial consistency between SAM results and other comparison data, SAM showed limitations in detecting small-scale or poorly defined streams but provided meaningful segmentation results for water body classification.
