  • The infrared energy is emitted in the infrared wavelength range that corresponds to the surface temperature of a object which has temperature that is over the absolute the temperature(OK). The infrared thermography (IRT) is a non-destrnctive testing method that provides thermal video for the user in real-time by converting the infrared quantity that is detected by the infrared detector into temperature. The pipes of nuclear power plant(NPP) could be thinned by the corrosion and fatigue and the defect could lead to a big accident. For this reason, the effective non-destructive testing method is necessary. In this study, the relationship between the measured temperature and the defect depth or size of NPP pipes were recognized and that was applied to detect the wall thinning defects of NPP pipes.

  • 이상적인 GIS 예방진단 장비라 한다면 최소의 비용과 규모로 설치되어 결함은 빠짐없이 수 있어야 하며, 검출된 신호가 결함신호인지 잡음인지를 명확히 식별하여 필요한 정보만을 운전자에게 전달하여야 한다. 즉, 검출된 신호가 결함에 의한 것이라면 결함의 종류와 결함의 상세위치, 위험한 정도, 후속 필요조치 등에 대한 정보를 운전자에게 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 그동안 국내에서는 이상적인 기술목표를 향하여 꾸준히 연구해 왔으며 이제는 센서기술이나 센서 배치, 신호해석기술, 시스템 설계 제작기술, 시스템 운영 등에서 세계적 수준에 도달했다고 볼 수 있으나 외국에서도 마찬가지이기는 하지만 위험도 평가분야는 아직은 미흡한 상태이다. 현재 산업계와 학계, 연구계에서 연구개발을 활발히 하고 있으므로 수년 내에 만족할 수준까지 도달할 수 있을 것으로 전망된다.

Fault Detection in Comvinational Circuits (조합논리회로의 결함검출)

  • In this paper, the problem of finding tests to detect faults in combinational logic circuits is considered. At first, the method of fault detection in fan-out-free irredundant circuits is derived, and the result is extended to the fan-out redundant circuits. A fan-out circuit is decomposed into a set of fan-out-free subcircuits by cutting the lines at the internal fan-out points, and the minimal detecting test. sets for each subcircuit are found separately. And then, the compatible tests from each test set are combined maximally into composite tests to generate primary input binary vectors. By this procedure. the minimal complete test sets for reconvergent fan-out circuits are easily found and the detectable and undetectable faults are also classified clearly.

  • PCBs를 분석한 결과 붕어는 전 지점에서 검출되었으며 3~7염소가 주로 검출되었고, 황소개구리는 4개 지점에서 2염소, 5~7염소가 일부 검출되었고 대부분의 시료에서 검출되지 않았다.

A Study on the Validation of Effective Angle of Particle Deposition according to the Detection Efficiency of High-purity Germanium Gamma-ray Detector (고순도 저마늄 감마선 검출기의 검출효율에 따른 유효입체각 검증에 관한 연구)

  • The distance between the source and the detector, the diameter of the detector, and the volume effect of the radiation source result in a change in solid angle at the detector entrance, which affects the determination of detection efficiency by causing a difference in path length within the detector. A typical analysis method for calculating solid angles was useful only for a source (60Co) with a simple geometric structure, so in this experiment, the distance between the detector and the source was measured by switching on for up to 25 cm with the reference point of window cap 0.5 cm. In addition, 450 and 1000 ㎖ Marinelli beaker of standard volumetric sources were closely adhered to the detector. For circular point sources co-axial with the detector, the change in the solid angle to the distance from the detector window is equal to half the square radius of the source versus the square radius of the detector, if the resulting relationship of the calculation analysis results in the detector being less than the radius of the source. Since the solid angular difference is 0.5 the result of Monte Carlo is acceptable. The relationship between detector and source distance is shown. Solid angles have been verified to decrease rapidly with distance. Measurement and simulation results for a volumetric source show a difference of ±1.01% from a distance of 0 cm and less than 4 % when the distance is reduced to 5 and 10 cm. It can be seen that the longer distance, the smaller efficiency angle, and the exponential increase in attenuation as the energy decreases, is reflected in the calculation of efficiency. Thus, the detection efficiency has proved sufficient for the use of solid angle and Monte Carlo codes.

Active Fault Tolerant Control of Quadrotor Based on Multiple Sliding Surface Control Method (다중 슬라이딩 표면 제어 기법에 기반한 쿼드로터의 능동 결함 허용 제어)

  • In this paper, we proposed an active fault tolerant control (AFTC) method for the position control of a quadrotor with complete loss of effectiveness of one motor. We obtained the dynamics of a quadrotor using Lagrangian equation without small angle assumption. For detecting the fault on a motor, we designed a fault detection module, which consists of the fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) module and the fault detection and isolation (FDI) module. For the FDD module, we designed a nonlinear observer that observes the states of a quadrotor based on the obtained dynamics. Using the observed states of a quadrotor, we designed residual signals and set the appropriate threshold values of residual signals to detect the fault. Also, we designed an FDI module to identify the fault location using the designed additional conditions. To make a quadrotor track the desired path after detecting the fault of a motor, we designed a fault tolerant controller based on the multiple sliding surface control (MSSC) technique. Finally, through simulations, we verified the effectiveness of the proposed AFTC method for a quadrotor with complete loss of effectiveness of one motor.

  • Conventional Or Rule decide final sensing result depending on all of SU making sensing result. So Conventional Or Rule must be combined all of local result to decide PU absent or not. But Proposed Or Rule is not needed all of local result depending on each of SU of local result. So Proposed Or Rule can reduce decision time. In this Paper, we verify proposed Or Rule using simulation tool similar with matlab. And we can calculate false alarm probability and miss detection probability of proposed Or rule and conventional Or rule.

  • 액정 디스플레이(LCD)의 핵심 재료인 편광필름은 제조 과정이나 운반 과정에서 실오라기 같은 이물 및 찍힘 등의 결함이 발생하며 이를 사람이 육안으로 검사하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 편광필름의 결함을 자동으로 검출하기위한 방법으로 히스토그램의 통계적 모멘트를 사용하여 주변 밝기에 따라 검사 영역의 밝기의 기울기를 구하고, 이를 통해 결함의 유무를 판단하는 편광필름 검사 방법을 제안한다.

  • This paper presents a method of detecting surface flaw of cold-rolled steel plate using image processing technique and a neural network classifier. The amount of steel plate surface image data is reduced by the wavelet transform. Features are extracted from the co-occurence matrix of the partial image corresponding to the low-frequency region, and a MLP neural network classifies into predetermined surface flaw categories. Simulations show the neural network classifier outperforms conventional vector quantization method.

  • 본 논문에서는 Ends-In Search Stretching 기법을 적용하여 명암 대비를 강조하고, 명암 대비가 강조된 영상에서 삼각형 타입의 소속 함수를 이용한 퍼지 이진화 기법을 적용한 후, 그 다음 임의의 패턴 입력에 대해서도 효과적으로 특징을 분류하는 개선된 ART2 알고리즘을 이용하여 결함 영역을 검출한다. 제안된 방법을 세라믹 소재 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 기존의 방법보다 효율적으로 결함이 검출되는 것을 확인하였다.
