Research on condition monitoring and diagnosis of power facilities has been conducted to improve the safety and reliability of electric power supply. Although insulation diagnostic techniques for unit equipment such as gas-insulated switchgears and transformers have been developed rapidly, studies on monitoring of cables have only included aspects such as whether defects exist and partial discharge (PD) detection; other characteristics and features have not been discussed. Therefore, this paper dealt with PD characteristics against void sizes and positions, and with defect localization in XLPE cable. Four types of defects with different sizes and positions were simulated and PD pulses were detected using a high frequency current transformer (HFCT) with a frequency range of 150kHz~30MHz. The results showed that the apparent charge increased when the defect was adjacent to the conductor; the pulse count in the negative half of the applied voltage was about 20% higher than that in the positive half. In addition, the defect location was calculated by time-domain reflectometry (TDR) method, it was revealed that the defect could be localized with an error of less than1m in a 50m cable.

This study tried to examine the characteristics of attention deficits in patients with Obstructive Sleep Apenea(OSA) with different age levels, and to examine which indices of polysomnograms might be related to the indices of attention deficits in OSAs. Two age-level groups and a normal control group were subjected to two computerized attention tests, including a continuous performance test(CPT) and a change blindness task(CBT). In addition, the three groups were subjected to a Polysomnography to extract several sub-indicators of polysomnogram, and an Epworth Sleepiness Scale which measures subjective sleepiness. As results, the OSAs showed significantly more omission and commission errors in CPT, and they showed lower accuracy in CBT compared to the normal group. The results of a correlational analysis showed that attention deficits in OSA are significantly correlated with arterial oxygen saturation among sub-indicators of polysomnograms. In conclusion, OSAs seems to be less attentive, having difficulties in response inhibition, and having deficiencies in noticing important environmental changes. Age seems to make these deficiencies even worse. Especially, the relationship between attention deficiency and hypoxia which could cause irreversible cerebrum damage has an implication in cognitive impairment prevention through early treatment.

2002년 소비자 보호 및 기업의 제품 역량 강화를 위해 대두된 제조물 책임법으로 제품에 대한 소비자의 관심이 증대되고 제품 결함에 대한 기업의 책임이 강화되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전기 전자 산업에서 제조물 결함에 의해 나타나는 기업 및 소비자의 손해 배상에 대한 분석과 제품 흐름별 PL법 사례를 제시한다. 또한, 신속한 기업 PL 예방과 대응을 위한 RFID 적용 전, 후 PL법 대응 프로세스 분석을 통해 RFID 적용 PL법 대응 방향을 제시한다. 더불어, PL법 대응 시스템 설계 시 접근 방향과 제품 라이프 사이클에서 제시되는 데이터 흐름 및 상세적용 정보를 제시하여 효과적인 PL법 대응 프로세스 구축 방향을 제시하고, 전기 전자 산업 사례 적용을 통하여 전기 전자 산업의 PL법 대응 프로세스 및 핵심 정보를 제시하고자 한다.

최근 소프트웨어의 복잡도가 증가되어감에 따라 소프트웨어 취약점 검출에 대한 정형화된 방법과 자동화된 도구가 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 소프트웨어 테스트에서 고려되지 않았던 보안을 고려한 테스트라는 측면에서 자동화된 도구를 이용하여 소스가 없고 바이너리 코드만 있는 경우 결함 주입 기법을 통해 취약점 분석 방법을 보여주며, 윈도우즈 환경에서 사용되는 응용프로그램에 대한 상호 비교를 통해 향후 발생할 취약점에 대한 예방과 회피에 활용 될 사례를 보여주고 있다.

항공산업의 초창기에는 항공기 안전사고의 대부분이 기술결함으로 인하여 발생하였다. 그러나 항공기술의 발달로 인한 첨단화, 정밀화되면서 기술결함에 의한 사고는 대폭 감소하였지만 인적요인에 의한 사고는 일정한 수준 감소 이후 꾸준하게 유지하고 있다. ICAO따르면 인적요인의 70~80%가 재발 가능성이 존재하며 독자적인 원인이 아닌 위험요소의 복합적작용으로 발생한다고 기술하고 있다. 이를 방지하기 ICAO에서는 항공안전을 위협하는 사고(ACCIDENTS), 준사고(Serious INCIDENTS), 항공안전장애(HINDRANCES)등의 데이터를 수집, 공유, 분석을 통해 항공안전 위해요소를 사전에 제거, 차단할 수 있는 사전예방 시스템의 수립을 권고하고 있으며 이를 위해 국제사회를 중심으로 의무보고제도, 자율보고제도 등이 활발하게 운영되고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우 운영시스템의 체계화 및 정부, 관련부처의 노력에도 불구하고 일부보고제도만이 정착되어있고 자율보고제도는 사회적 환경, 문화적 요건의 차이 등으로 인하여 활발하게 운영되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 국내 외 안전자율보고제도의 동향을 바탕으로 해당제도의 효율적인 정착 방안을 모색할 필요가 있을 것이다.

제조물책임(Product Liability, 이하 PL)법은 2002년 7월 1일부터 국내에서 시행되고 있으며, 대기업뿐만 아니라 중소기업에서도 자사제품에 대한 신뢰성과 제품향상을 위해 많은 관심을 갖고 있다. PL법 환경에서 전력기기에 대한 제조결함과 사고의 연관성은 PL법의 적용대상이므로 국제화시대에 제품결함에 의한 전력설비 사고발생시 이의 정확한 원인규명 등을 통하여 기업에 있어서는 동일사고 예방 및 제품의 신뢰성 향상과 소비자에 있어서는 피해구제 마련 등 PL분쟁시 정확한 사고원인규명과 처리기준에 대한 자료구축이 필요한 실정이다.

근년에 전세계에서 목재건조 기술의 주요 관심사는 첫째 건조응력발생과 건조결함 예방이고, 다음은 건조실 제어시스템, 건조스케줄개발, 목재수분이동, 함수율측정, 새로운 건조방법개발, 건조에너지 절약, 경제성분석, 태양열건조, 수학적모델링, 건조전처리, 마이크로웨이브 건조, 건조실 구성과 정비, 건조종기결정, 감압건조, 공정제어와 콘다숀닝, 제습건조, 목재치수 안정 및 고온건조 등의 순위이다. 건조중 발생하는 결함들은 건조경비 증가에 절대적인 영향을 끼칠 수 있다. 예를 들면, 가구공장에 있어서 건조재의 품등 향상에 따른 1%의 수율 증대 효과는 가구 부품 1000 보오드피트당 23$의 생산비를 절감할 수 있고, 활엽수재의 천연건조시 수반되는 건조손상은 생재의 23%를 초과할 수 있다. 본 총설이 각종 문제를 개선하고 건조경비를 절감하는데 기여할 수 있기를 바라며, 또한 단판, 칩 또는 땔감과 같은 비제재품에 관한 건조에 관한것은 제외하였다.

본 논문에서는 WEB대상으로 UI테스트를 최초 설계할 때, 웹로그를 분석하여 사용자들의 패턴을 파악하고 자동으로 테스트 시나리오와 케이스를 설계하여 제공하는 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 메세지큐를 활용하여 로그 데이터를 효율적으로 수집할 수 있고, 분석 시스템과 사용자들이 사용하는 웹서버를 분리하여 로그분석으로 인한 시스템 과부하 현상을 예방 할 수 있다. 또한 로그분석을 통해 추출된 데이터를 통해 사용자들이 실제로 자주 사용하거나 사용했던 사용 경로를 이용하여 자동으로 테스트 시나리오와 테스트 케이스에 대한 자료들을 접할 수 있어 테스트 분석, 설계 과정에서의 소요되는 시간이 감축되는 것을 기대할 수 있으며, 실제 사용자들이 자주 이용하는 패턴으로 테스트 대상을 정할 수 있기 때문에 후에 테스트를 통한 결함이 조치가 된다면 사용자들이 결함 경험을 줄일 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

With the introduction of the maritime safety supervisor system in Korea following the passenger vessel Sewol accident, the safety control system for coastal vessels has been reinforced. A maritime safety supervisor performs marine accident prevention activities by offering periodical or occasional guidance and supervision. When a deficiency is found during guidance or supervision sessions, an order for improvement is issued to rectify the problem by such measures as supplementation or replacement of vessel facilities, improvement of work hours and working conditions for employees, educational and training programs for executives and employees, or the improvement of other affairs relating to maritime safety control. However the present order for navigation suspension by a maritime safety supervisor is limited solely to supplementation or replacement. For this reason, orders for navigation suspension against other facilities is impossible, even if a serious deficiency that could lead to a marine accident such as poor cargo loading conditions or unqualified crew is identified. Therefore, the order for vessel navigation suspension to secure seaworthiness should be expanded to include cargo loading/unloading operations, certificates and documentation, maritime safety management systems, and human elements including emergency drills and working conditions, in addition to the supplementation or replacement of vessel facilities that exists.

우리나라의 과학 교육은 원리에 대한 정확한 이해 없이 암기 위주의 지식만을 강조하였기 때문에, 학생들의 과학에 대한 관심도는 점점 떨어지고 학년이 높아갈수록 과학은 어렵고 딱딱한 과목이라는 생각을 흔히 하게 된다. 이러한 현실을 반영하여 과학교구는 단순 암기 위주의 지식을 전달하는 것이 아니라 학생 스스로 과학의 높은 수준까지도 무리 없이 학습하기 위해 필요한 관찰력, 이해력, 분석 능력을 기르게 해 준다.(중략)
