영한 기계변역에서의 전치사구 처리는 자연어 처리의 중요한 연구과제 중 하나이다. 특히 전치사구의 격의미는 그에 대한 한국어 표현에 중요한 실마리가 된다. 본 논문은 영어의 전치사구에 대한 한국어 표현을 선택하기 위한 격의미 체계를 정의하고 그 격의미 체계를 실험한다. 이 격의미 체계는 전치사구에 대한 한국어의 격의미를 분별함으로 보다 좋은 한국어 격조사를 선택하게 해준다. 본 논문에서는 각 격의미의 구분을 위한 의미속성 집합도 정의한다. 이 의미속성 집합은 WordNet의 시소러스에서 제공한 상하위 관계와 변환표를 근거로 자동적으로 추출된다. 의미속성 집합의 자동획득은 격의미 체계의 표현과 기계변역의 성능 평가에 일반성을 부여한다. 격의미 체계와 의미속성 집합의 자동 획득은 영한 기계변역은 물론 한국어 생성과 자연어 처리에 중요한 기여를 할 것으로 보인다.

The analysis of prepositional phrases in English-to Korean machine translation has problem on the PP-attachment resolution, semantic analysis, and acquisition of information. This paper presents an analysis system for prepositional phrases, which solves the problem. The analysis system consists of the PP-attachment resolution hybrid system, semantic analysis system, and semantic feature generator that automatically generates input information. It provides objectiveness in analyzing prepositional phrases with the automatic generation of semantic features. The semantic analysis system enables to generate natural Korean expressions through selection semantic roles of prepositional phrases. The PP-attachment resolution hybrid system has the merit of the rule-based and neural network-based method.

The subjective-type evaluation can estimate the high-recognition ability, but has the problem of the objectivity and reliability of the evaluation, and the difficulty of Korean language processing. To solve the problem, this paper designs and implements a subjective-type evaluation system using syntactic and case-role information. This system can reduce the time and endeavor for evaluation and provide the objectivity of the evaluation. The system results the 75% success rate to the instructor evaluation and gets the better precision and recall than the word extraction evaluation system. We expect that this system will become a basis of the research on the subjective-type evaluation.

3GPP long-term evolution(LTE) band 2.3~2.4 GHz is adjacent to 2.4~2.5 GHz band for WLAN, and therefore compatibility study of the two systems is desirable. We propose a dynamic system simulation methodology to investigate the effect of WLAN interference on LTE systems. As capturing space/time/frequency changes in system parameters, the dynamic system simulation can exactly predict real system performance. Using the proposed methodology, we obtain LTE downlink throughput loss for the frequency separation between the two systems. Throughput loss under 1 % is obtained from guard band over 11 MHz(single channel allocation) or 10 MHz(three channel allocation).

The flower arrangement that human beings interact with the natural plants have characteristics according to their historical background and ethnicity and different aspects of culture related of the flower arrangements have been created by human inspiration and formative ability. The Korean flower arrangement is a product of civilization which originated in the natural environment of the four seasons. As background with the natural unity ideology, the Korean Flower Arrangement makes the life and philosophy of the naturalistic nature that flows in the mind of our nation to the relaxing beauty suited on cultures of ages by the Virtue, the Will, and the Vitality. The Literary Flower Arrangement is, based on the higher human personality and poetic sentiments as ideologies of our traditional oriental philosophy, the formative art made for aesthetic implications of philosophy by consisting plants' characters and tastes without expression of technical skills. In this study, focused on pine tree, in order to clarify that the flower arrangement of our spiritual culture is the Literary Flower Arrangement, make Identifying aesthetic characteristics through, the backgrounds and sources of being expressed by the Literary Flower Arrangement, poetic feelings, symbolism, metaphor, the formative form of flower arrangement, decoding of the flower arrangement genes, and the same time deduce the record of literary work and classify it each era, and establish the Literary Flower Arrangement theory which is the essence of Korean flower arrangement.
