In this paper, We described the implementation of the Smart Gateway for heterogeneous interface integrated, Web Server and Building Energy Management System(: BEMS). The proposed system introduces the reduction of peak power and electric power usage with service model and operating algorithm for energy saving in building.

현재의 정보처리시스템은 대형 컴퓨터중심의 중앙 집중형 처리 환경, 클라이언트/서버의 분산처리시스템에서 웹 환경의 인트라넷 환경으로 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 인트라넷 환경은 웹브라우저라는 사용자 중심의 통합된 환경, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, XML 등의 표준화 된 기술을 사용한 플랫폼 독립적인 사용환경, 비용의 효율성, 확장 및 유지보수의 용이성 등을 제공한다. 그러나 현재 사용중인 호스트 환경을 완전히 무시하고, 인트라넷 환경을 구축한다는 것은 매우 비현실적이다. 따라서 기존 환경은 그대로 유지하면서 인트라넷을 구축하기 위한 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 사용중인 기존 시스템은 전혀 변경하지 않고 호스트의 터미널 환경을 그대로 인트라넷 환경으로 바꾸기 위한 WEB-TO-HOST 게이트웨이에 대한 연구이다.

최근 인터넷의 발달로 인하여 보안에 대한 위험이 점차 증가하고 있어 보안에 관한 보다 더 철저한 대응 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 패킷 필터링 라우터와 프락시 서버를 결합한 스크린드 호스트 게이트웨이 방화벽을 제안하여 단위 학교전산망에 알맞은 방화벽을 구축하는데 경제적 효과를 기대할 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 현대사회의 복잡성으로 인해 각자 흩어져 살고 있는 가족 구성원들을 메타버스 기반의 가상공간을 통해 서로 연결시켜주어 가족애를 증진시켜주고 특히 안전에 취약한 타지에 살고 있는 노부모를 가상공간을 통해 모니터링하여 신속한 대응을 할 수 있도록 홈가상화 서비스를 위한 물리홈 안전센서와 제어장치를 제안한다. 홈가상화를 통한 홈안전시스템은 메타버스 서버와 클라이언트, 홈가상 플랫폼 게이트웨이와 물리홈 센서와 제어장치로 구성되며, 본 논문에서는 하부구조인 홈가상 플랫폼 게이트웨이와 센서 및 제어장치간의 프로토콜 및 이의 프로토타입을 구성하도록 한다. 이를 통해 가상 공간에서 실공간의 홈센서 및 제어장치와 교신할 수 있어 가상공간을 통한 홈안전서비스를 구현할 수 있다.

본 논문은 차량형 네트워크에서 고급화된 루트 조회 요청의 응답시간을 측정하는 시뮬레이터를 구현하고 그 측정된 결과를 도시한다. 이산 이벤트 시뮬레이터에 기반하여 서버의 주기적 업데이트, 게이트웨이에서의 레코드당 리프레쉬, 차량으로부터의 조회 요청 발생 등의 사건들을 정의하고 이에 대한 동작을 구현한다. 시간 지역성을 대표하는 LRU 방식과 공간 지역성을 대표하는 FAR 방식의 성능을 측정하기 위해 참조시간을 기록하는 자료구조와 경위도 좌표를 거리로 변환하는 모듈을 작성하였으며 기존의 위치 이력 데이터로부터 조회 요청을 생성한다. 응답시간을 측정한 결과는 공간 지역성이 시간 지역성보다 응답시간에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 낮은 프리페치 부하에서 최대 4배 가량의 응답시간 차이를 보인다.

In this paper, we tested and analysed the performance of the load balancer which advances the performance of web server farm. Load balancer distributes the traffic that is inputting from internet and accepts client's connection requests to its maximum capacity. Then we test the maximum connection requests per second that load balancer processed and the load balancing that established with the load balancer.

Due to the continuing technical progress in the capabilities of modeling, simulation, and sensor devices, huge volume data with very high resolution are common. In scientific visualization, various interactive real-time techniques on high performance parallel computers to effectively render such large scale volume data sets have been proposed. In this paper, we present a mobile volume visualization system that consists of mobile clients, gateways, and parallel rendering servers. The mobile clients allow to explore the regions of interests adaptively in higher resolution level as well as specify rendering / viewing parameters interactively which are sent to parallel rendering server. The gateways play a role in managing requests / responses between mobile clients and parallel rendering servers for stable services. The parallel rendering servers visualize the specified sub-volume with rendering contexts from clients and then transfer the high quality final images back. This proposed system lets multi-users with PDA simultaneously share commonly interesting parts of huge volume, rendering contexts, and final images through CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperative Work) mode.

IP 전화 기술의 발전과 서비스 보급이 확대됨에 따라서 통신사업자는 투자 및 운용 비용을 절감하고 기존수입의 보전은 물론 신규 수익을 창출하기 위한 방안으로 서비스 고도화가 가능한 차세대 네트워크를 구축하기 위한 계획을 수립하고 있다. 본 문서는 차세대 네트워크의 핵심 구성 요소인 소프트스위치, 미디어 게이트웨이, 응용 서버, 그리고 미디어 서버의 정의, 기능을 분석하여 그 역할을 정립한다. 즉, 차세대네트워크의 형상을 분석하여 구성 요소의 역할과 인터페이스를 명확히 정의하고자 한다. 특히 고도 서비스를 제공하기 위한 필수 요소인 응용 서버와 미디어 서버에 대하여 중점적으로 분석하고, 두 구성 요소의 상호작용을 정의한다. 차세대 네트워크 형상의 분석 결과는 통신 사업자가 성공적으로 고도 서비스를 제공하여 기존 수입을 보전하고 신규 수익을 창출할 수 있는 차세대 네트워크를 구축하기 위하여 필요한 전략 수립 자료로 활용될 것이다.

본 논문은 Mobile Gateway(MG)는 어플리케이션의 개발에 필요한 서버 솔루션에 대하여 기술하겠다. 스마트폰 이용자가 증가하면서 기업들은 앱(App, Application)을 사용하여 상품화 하고 있다. 앱을 개발하기 위해서는 서버가 필요하다. 또한 서버와 연동할 때 다양한 어려운 사항이 있다. 본 논문에서 이러한 단점을 해결하고자 서버 구현과 공통적인 기능을 패키지화하여 기업이나 개인이 앱을 보다 편리하게 개발하고, 또한 개발공수 단축 및 개발 후 유지보수의 효율성 향상에 기여한다.
