According as quantity of information is augmented rapidly in World Wide Web, users are investing more times finding correct information to on. Search function that a search agent is personalized according to user's preference degree or search objective to solve these problem should be offered. Therefore, a search agent accumulates experienced knowledge connected with user's past search in this research. When new query was given, search agent offered learning function of intelligence that decides category group through estimation method of similarity using this knowledge. So this paper showed that case based search can bring superior result in the correctness rate than other search method.

이 논문에서는 기존의 지식관리시스템과 P2P방식을 접목한 P2P 지식관리시스템을 제안하고 제안된 시스템의 구조와 효율적으로 지식을 검색하기 위한 지능형 에이전트 대하여 기술하였다. 에이전트의 종류는 지식추출과 추천 에이전트가 있으며, 지식추출 에이전트는 대량의 데이터에서 지식을 추출하고, 개인 맞춤형 지식 추천 에이전트는 추출된 지식에서 사용자가 관심 있는 분야의 지식을 추천해 주는 것이다. 제안된 시스템의 구조와 에이전트 기법은 회사나 단체에 속한 사용자들이 방대한 데이터, 정보 또는 사용자들의 전문성과 경험으로 축적된 지식을 빠르고 쉽게 검색하게 해주어 양질의 지식을 사용자들이 추천 받아 사용하도록 함으로써 전체 구성원의 지식도를 높이며, 이러한 지식들을 재활용하여 더욱 많은 지식과 부가 가치를 창출하도록 지원하여 준다.

Existing contents-based video retrieval systems search by using a single method such as annotation-based or feature-based retrieval. Hence, it not only shows low search efficiency, but also requires many efforts to provide system administrator or annotator with a perfect automatic processing. Tn this paper, we propose an agent-based, and automatic and unified semantics-based video retrieval system, which support various semantics-retrieval of the massive video data by integrating the feature-based retrieval and the annotation-based retrieval. The indexing agent embodies the semantics about annotation of extracted key frames by analyzing a fundamental query of a user and by selecting a key-frame image that is ed by a query. Also, a key frame selected by user takes a query image of the feature-based retrieval and the indexing agent searches and displays the most similar key-frame images after comparing query images with key frames in the database by using the color-multiple-partition histogram techniques. Furthermore, it is shown that the performance of the proposed system can be significantly improved.

웹에 분산된 모든 웹 페이지는 구조가 서로 다르다. 시멘틱 웹 환경은 이형적인 구조를 갖는 웹 페이지들의 메타데이터를 바탕으로 시멘틱 검색이 가능하다. 그러나 일반적으로 사용자의 요구에 따른 시멘틱 검색은 상황에 따라 엄청난 수의 검색 결과를 내놓는다. 따라서 검색 결과에 대해 각 사용자에 맞는 검색 결과 순위를 적용할 필요가 있다. Culture Finder는 시멘틱 웹 검색 에이전트들이 개인화된 문화 정보를 검색할 수 있도록 도움을 준다. Culture Finder는 웹에 존재하는 각 웹 페이지에 대한 메타 데이터를 작성하고, 시멘틱 검색을 이행하며, 사용자 프로파일을 기반으로 삼아 검색 결과일 대한 순위 점수를 계산한다. Culture Finder에는 개인화된 시멘틱 검색을 효율적으로 실행하기 위해 중요한 5가지 기법이 적용되었다. 사용자의 검색 행위로부터 사용자 프로파일을 생성하기위한 기계 학습기법, 시멘틱 웹 검색 에이전트를 위한 효율적인 시맨틱 검색 기법, 사용자 질의의 효과일인 파악을 위한 질의 분석 기법, 각 사용자에게 적합한 검색 결과를 제공하기 위한 순위 적용 기술, 메타데이터를 생성화기 위한 상위 온톤로지 표현 기법. 본 논문에서는 Culture Finder의 구조를 통해서 시멘틱 개인화 검색에 적용되는 여러 가지 방법을 제안한다.

본 논문은 전자상거래에서 판매와 구매방법의 획일화된 검색기법을 이용한 상품의 검색 및 사용자 인터페이스를 지능형 대화 판매 에이전트를 설계함으로써 보다 편리하고 효율적인 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하는 시스템을 설계하였다. 기존 사이버 쇼핑몰에서 구매자의 검색에 의한 방식을 판매자와의 대화에 의한 검색방법으로 전환하여 구매자의 구매의욕을 증가시키고 검색에 소요되는 시간을 절약할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 구매자 어휘를 분석하고 구매패턴을 파악하여 추가의 수요를 창출 할 수 있는 데이터를 축적하는 방법을 제시하고 많은 고객을 동일한 시간에 상대해야 하는 웹의 전자상거래 시스템에서 판매를 담당하는 에이전트를 설계하게 되었다.

Due to the recent explosive progress of Web, We can easily access a large number of images from m. In this paper, we describe our approach of developing a general purpose content based image retrieval system over the H using a Web agent. The Web agent extracts text information of images from the links and file contents in HTML. The proposed system retrieves the images from database using the query by sketch and the query by example on Web browser. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the new approach.

This paper introduces the design and implementation of product search support agent for an efficient Internet shopping. In existing shopping malls, electronic catalogs provide the product information by subject or keyword, or the buying information by purchasing history. This proposed product search support agent system is designed to analyze navigating patterns of customers, extract more effective buying information with regard to the current trend in customer navigating . In conclusion, this product search support agent can propose more suitable buying information to customers that he can be proposed to make purchases more efficiently.

본 논문에서는 특징기반 검색을 이용하여 대용량의 비디오 데이터에 대한 사용자의 다양한 의미검색을 지원하는 에이전트 기반에서의 자동화되고 통합된 비디오 의미기반 검색 시스템을 제안한다. 사용자의 기본적인 질의를 분석하고 질의에 의해 추출된 키 프레임의 이미지를 사용자가 선택함으로써 인덱싱 에이전트는 추출된 키 프레임의 주석에 대한 의미를 더욱 구체화시킨다. 또한, 사용자에 의해 선택된 키 프레임은 특징기반 검색의 질의 이미지가 되고 인덱싱 에이전트는 제안하는 다중 분할 칼라 히스토그램 기법을 통해 질의 이미지와 데이터베이스의 키 프레임들을 비교한 후 가장 유사한 키 프레임 이미지를 검색하여 사용자에게 디스플레이한다. 제안하여 구현된 시스템은 현저히 향상된 성능을 보였다.

A user with a specific information need will often need to query several search engines before finding relevant documents. To address the problem of navigating the search engines, agents are used. In general, an agent is a program that can perform a particular task automatically, when appropriate or upon request by another program. In this paper, we design and implement the education information search system for children: using Information gathering agent that is called Edulnfo4k. The information gathering agent periodically visits several portal web sites for children: Ggureogi of Yahoo Korea, Junior of Naver and Gaegujaengi of Hanmir, collects the education or learning information for children, stores the collected information into database. Then, causal users can search the education information for children from database through a uniform user interface, conveniently. As the result, we know that Edulnfo4k provides integrated search without query in several search engines.

Today, as the Internet is popularized, information and news retrieval are generalized. However due to the tremendous amount and variety of information, many users appeal the difficulties of information retrieval. Thus in this paper, we propose a news retrieval system, which filters news articles using an intelligent agent with the learning ability of BPN (back propagation neural network). This system also uses a profile to accomodate the personalized news retrieval. This system consists of two major agents, collection agent and learning agent. The collection agent gathers the articles from several news sites, analyzes them, and stores into a database. The learning agent builds the BPN based on the personalized data. In addition, considering the popularity of the wireless internet due to the rapid development of communication technologies, we made this system provide the service through the wireless internet.
