This study has attempted to empirically analyze the mediating effects of small and medium venture firms' manufacturing capability and testing and inspection capability on the relation between their external information network heterogeneity and technology commercialization capability with a view to diversifying the research stream on the influential factors to small and medium firms' technology commercialization capability. By performing the ordinary least squares regression analysis, the Sobel test, and the Baron and Kenny test based on the 683 data of South Korean small and medium venture firms with the IBM SPSS version 23, this study provides the three empirical findings to be useful for future studies on the roles of small and medium venture firms' the manufacturing capability and testing and inspection capability. First, small and medium venture firms' manufacturing capability partially mediates the positive effect of their external information network heterogeneity on their technology commercialization capability. Second, their testing and inspection capability partially mediates this positive effect. Third, their manufacturing capability and testing and inspection capability jointly and partially mediates this positive effect.

농수산물유통공사는 농산물센터 등 10개 업체를 대상으로 수출농산물의 골판지상자 및 파렛트 등에 대하여 포장개선시범사업을 시행, 올 11월말까지 시행기간을 만료하고, 12월 5일까지 수출업체로부터 사업추진 결과보고 및 증빙서류를 제출받아 각 업체별로 포장개선시범사업비를 정산할 예정에 있다. 아울러 골판지포장조합의 품질검사 및 사후관리를 통해 수출농산물포장에 대한 품질강화를 통한 국내 수출 농산물의 상품성 제고를 지원하고 있다.

'87년, 조합으로는 최초로 보건예방사업을 시작한 서울 제 19지구 의료보험조합은 실시 6년째를 맞는 올해 피보험자 간염검사 및 접종 6만 9천여명, 35세미만 피부양자 간염검사 6만 4천여명, 35세이상 피부양자 성인병 검사 4만 6천여명 등을 대상으로 보건의료 혜택을 주기로 하고 현재 검사를 진행하고 있다. 능동적인 업무처리와 조합원의 편의와 권리행사 우선의 업무추진으로 타 조합의 모범이 되고 있는 19지구 의보의 활동 내용을 이번 호에 소개해 본다.

충남 당진군 고대면 성산리에 있는 고산감리교회, 신자 100여명의 농촌교회로는 작지 않은 이 교회의 장재환 목사는 지난 4월 3일, 4일 이틀동안 신자 50여명에 대한 종합건강검사를 건협 대전.충남지부에서 실시했다. 교회 예산으로 검사수수료의 50%를 지원함으로써 특히 눈길을 끈 이번 건강검사는 "건강한 교회"를 만들겠다는 장목사의 취지에서 시작되고 전개되었다. 생명의 소중함을 새삼 일깨워 준 이번 검사 사업의 취지와 과정을 장목사를 통해 들어봤다.

Vehicle inspection is a system to help all vehicles function safely through periodic maintenance. Vehicle inspections have been performed since 1962 in Korea by the government in order to reduce traffic accidents due to vehicle defects. Also, vehicle inspections may help protect citizens against uninsured vehicles and illegal vehicle remodeling by discovering and disclosing those vehicles. The prime objective of vehicle inspection is to guarantee all vehicles drive safely on the road by inspecting and fixing items which can affect traffic accidents. In addition, vehicle inspections may help to improve the public order related to vehicle operations and prevent crime through the confirmation of vehicle identity and authentication of ownership. Although there are many benefits of vehicle inspection. there are some negative opinions of the system. In this study, a methodology to analyze the effectiveness of the vehicle inspection system quantitatively in terms of traffic safety was developed. According to the developed methodology. accidents were reduced by 23.735, which is 11% of the total number of accidents in 2005.

As part of the immunoserology program of the Korean Association of External Quality Assessment Service, we organized two trials on the external quality assessment of hepatitis viral markers in 2016 and 2017. The hepatitis viral antigens and antibodies program consisted of 10 test items. We delivered two and three types of pooled sera specimens to 965 and 965 institutions for the first and second trials of external proficiency testing in 2016, respectively. The number of participating laboratories was 915 (94.8%) and 913 (95.0%) in the first and second trials in 2016, respectively. We also delivered three kinds of pooled sera specimens to 936 and 1,015 institutions for the first and second trials of external proficiency testing in 2017, respectively. The number of participating laboratories was 920 (98.3%) and 996 (98.1%) in the first and second trials in 2017, respectively. The most commonly tested items were hepatitis B surface antigen, followed by the antibodies to hepatitis B surface antigen, anti-hepatitis C virus, hepatitis B envelope antigen, antibodies to hepatitis B envelope antigen, anti-hepatitis A virus and antibodies to hepatitis B core antigen. The most frequently used methods for detecting viral markers were the chemiluminescence immunoassay and the electrochemiluminescence immunoassay, but they yielded a few-false positive results due to the matrix effect. The immunochromatographic assay yielded false-negative results for anti-hepatitis A virus due to low sensitivity. Continuous improvement in the quality of viral hepatitis testing through participation in the survey seems necessary.
