This study is to explore the contents and composition of architectural design studio. The purpose of this study is to seek after the potentiality of architectural design education as a formative design dealing with the morphologic difference between solid and void, and to present the effective process of design education for architectural design studio in terms of creative thinking.

지난 8월 13일 중랑구립도서관의 현상설계 당선작이 발표되었다. 총 15개 건축사사무소가 작품을 제출한 이번 설계경기는 (주)듀엘인터내셔널건축(오용석,김진권)안이 당선작으로 선정되었으며, 민가건축(김석순)과 서울, 진우, 시공, 필건축(정규식)안이 각각 가작으로 선정되었다. 정보화, 자치화 시대를 맞이하여 지역주민을 위한 각종 자료의 열람 및 정보를 제공하여 주민의 평생교육의 장으로 활용하고 문화공간의 역할과 기능을 다할 수 있는 도서관을 건립한다는 목표로 실시된 이번 현상설계는 연면적이 1,000평이며, 예정공사비는 36억6천만원이 소요될 예정이다. 당선된 (주)듀엘인터내셔널 건축사사무소에게는 기본 및 실시설계권이 부여되며(설계비 : 177,610천원)이 도서관은 오는 98년 완공 예정이다.

In spite of various approaching method to satisfy with the owner's requirements in schematic design phase, it is insufficient to evaluate intermediate process of design arithmetically with participating in design process. So the numerous changes of design after completion of design development cause a lot of loss to the design company. The designer arranges owner's requirements to prevent from this loss at the initial stage of schematic design phase systematically and lets owner and stakeholder to evaluate the value of schematic design to satisfy with owner's and stakeholder's requirements. If the evaluated value for schematic design is above a definite value index, the next design phase should be advanced. By this method, the design company can reduce the additional expenses remarkably by preventing with re-design which is occurred by not reflecting owner's intention or by changing owner's intention. Also the designer have the owner to evaluate the result of design and construction. The designer let the owner know whether the owner's requirement should well have been reflected on drawing or not. There is a strong point to be able to minimize the criticism which can be occurred after completion of construction by evaluating for owner's satisfactory degree and by having owner and designer confirm the result of design and construction arithmetically. This paper presents that the loss of design company can be minimized by going over at next step if the value is over a definite value index after evaluating value for each design from design process.

대한주택공사에서는 대단위 소규모 저층 형 아파트를 제주시 화북지구에 건립코자 현상설계경기를 실시하여 우원건축(문정일)안을 최우수작으로 선정, 지난 6월 2일 주공 연수처 3강의실에서 시상식을 가졌다. 총 25개사무소에서 작품을 제출한 이번 설계경기의 우수작은 무영건축(안길원+손광민)안이 차지했으며, 가작은 우원건축ㆍ건축문화(조성룡)안과 동인ㆍ우양건축(윤태웅)안 그리고 건원건축(곽홍길)안이 각각 선정됐다.

대전산업대학교에서는 대학의 장기발전계획에 맞추어 기존건물과 조화를 이루며 대학 특성에 맞는 지식정보센터로의 기능을 발휘할 수 있도록 새로운 건축문화의 상징으로 중앙도서관을 건립코자 현상설계경기를 실시, 총 14개 작품이 응모된 가운데 신화(엔)건축(김인수+최재인)안을 당선작으로 선정, 지난 10월 20일 발표했다. 일반공개경기 방법으로 진행된 이번 설계경기의 우수작은 시원건축(박창권)안이, 가작에는 이방건축(김광출), 천일건축(한규봉), 선건축(오선교)안이 각각 선정됐다.

국민체육진흥공단에서는 올림픽기념관 건립을 위한 설계경기를 실시, 지난 5월21일 희림건축(이영희)안을 당선작으로 선정,발표했다. 총 13개 사무소에서 참여한 이번 설계경기는 한국 스포츠의 과거, 현재, 미래를 상징하는 삼각형태의 건축구조를 이루고 있는 당선작외에 우수작은 예도건축(김동찬)안이, 가작으로는 김상경건축(김상경), 모양건축(박민수), 모람건축(김흥수)안이 각각 선정됐다. 이 기념관은 오는 99년 완공될 예정이다.

In Korea construction project case, architectural construction project is curtailed production because information network process within multidisciplinary isn't smooth. Particularly, the construction is not insufficient about performance, cost and material, construction process, etc. in result various question arises because of design error in construction step. And various mistake is made because communication path within multidisciplinary isn't smooth in architectural design and design change process. Therefore The final object of this study is to propose the establishment method of decision support model for the cooperative design in order to provides improved design coordination and optimize the building system.

This paper develops the steel-house design interface that helps make building design effectively done by constructing building materials as components and assembling them as patterns. It also aims to develop the Flexible Building Design System that supports a technology which makes change of constructing easy and reduces the cost effectively through a simulation of building design like design, analysis, change information, etc., by grafting the virtual building technology into the process of building. It especially is possible for a designer and user to change a building easily by using patterns and according to the change, pattern information of materials needed and the plans of the building are made automatically. Kin-search that can be happened through personal proficiency or knowledge visualization is also the reason why the technology should be embodied.
