  • 건축물 화재에서의 피난대책은 Passive 대책과 Active 대책으로 대별될 수 있다. Passive 대책은 수동적이고 소극적인 개념으로 공간적 구조체인 특성에 따라 건축법규에서 규율하고 있는데 반하여, Active 대책은 능동적이고 적극적인 개념의 설비적인 측면에 따라 소방법규에서 규율하고 있다. 따라서 양 법규간 피난기준이 상호 대체적 기능보다는 소방법규에서의 보완적 기능이 보다 더 강하다. 본 연구는 피난기준이 건축법규와 소방법규로 이원화되고 관련설비에 대한 설치기준이 관계법규에 혼재됨에 따라 양 법규간의 상호기능보다는 기준적용의 혼선, 기준간 충돌 등의 문제점을 도출하고 효율적이고 합리적인 피난기준 적용을 위한 대책방안을 제시하고자 한다.

영국의 건축관계 법규

  • 영국에서는 19세기 후반부터 각 지방당국에서 제정한 건축조례에 의해 건축규제를 행하였으나, 지방당국간의 조례내용 차이로 인해 건축공사 수행 등에 있어 여러 가지 사회적 불편이 초래되어, 1980년대 중반에 건축관련 법규를 통합 하고 건축조례를 대체하는 단일화된 건축규칙을 제정하여, 새로운 건축규제 시스템을 형성하였다. 본고는 이 새로운 시스템의 골간을 이루는 건축법 및 건축규칙과 기타 관련 법규 등을 요약한 것으로 영국의 건축법규 체계에 대한 이해를 넓히는데 다소나마 도움이 되고자 한 것이다.

  • The main objective of this study is to develop the application system of building code in super-tall building design. In order to improve the design company's qualification in the specialized building project such as super-tall, developing the reasonable application of domestic building code system is one of essential factors. This study show the unique environment required in the super-tall design process and compare the regulation system in domestic building code and international building code, mostly US. By analyzing the building codes of Busan Lotte Tower, this study suggest the addition or modification of building code application for the similar super-tall building design projects.

  • Recently, BIM is used at several areas actively because of introduction of BIM in the construction industry. In particular, the recent many studies on activation of BIM information sharing is underway and it is the future direction of BIM. Moreover, it should be clearly realized. In the BIM levels of domestic construction phase, Interference Review, calculating volume estimates in part based on the active research is underway. However, still interested in reviewing building codes have relatively little interest. As BIM enabled, The methods of reviewing building codes should be transformed into a automated system by using information of BIM. In overseas, they are already using diverse softwares for reviewing modeling. Thus, For an automatic review of building regulations research is needed. this study is research on the development Domestic building codes as an automatic review process by using BIM. In order to Automatic review of the current building regulations by using BIM, this study analyzes the characteristics of each piece of information.

  • This research aims at implementing an automation-based building code checking system which will be employed for Architectural Registration Examination. By creating a specific building data model and implementing an automatic building code checking module, the research aims is accomplished. The contribution of this research are as follows; it becomes possible to execute a systematic building code checking. And unlike the existing automatic building code checking systems, it successfully addresses a way of increasing the number of checklist without modifying the system.

  • As one of empirical research and developments on BIM applications to improve design quality and productivity of building, efforts have been devoted to automated compliance checking of building design for building permit. KBimLogic is a mechanism that translate Korean Buidling Act to the computational language called KBimCode. KBimCode aims to standardized and neutral language that can be applied to various design rules. This paper focuses on testing expandability of KBimCode by appling it on Chinese Building Act. We analyzed Chinese national regulation on fire protection and evacuation, based on 1) Object·property, 2) function for predicate processing, 3) relationship of sentences. As a result, Chinese Building Act were successfully translated to KBimCode with some important implications for further application. Based on the finding of the paper, KBimCode is expected to be applicable to kinds of design rules.

  • Recently, the trend has been for buildings to become larger and more sophisticated, and this has created safety issues. Because the buildings are big it takes lots of time to check building codes related to anti-disaster and safety manually, and there is the high possibility of making mistakes. Due to these problems, according to a study, 83% of architecture and construction workers believe that an automated code-checking system is needed. This study researches past automated code checking systems and research activity, and using Building Information Model (BIM) technology, determines the feasibility of developing a system to automatically check domestic codes related to egress and anti-disaster. This paper describes the necessity of an automated building code checking system and expected effects. It then reports whether the methods used in previous studies can be deployed in domestic building code checking and discusses problems and limitations. It also suggests an alternative approach. Although this study covers limited codes related to egress, we need to find out what is needed for automatic general code checking system and do further studies for that.

회원칼럼 I - 건축구조설계! 어느 법제도 하에 있어야 하겠는가?

  • 현재 건축 관련 법제도가 요동치고 있다. 서로 자기분야에 유리하도록 법제정 및 법개정을 서두르고 있다. 이런 시점에서 우리 건축구조기술사들은 어떤 대책을 세워야 하겠는가? 그동안 제정된 법규 또는 입법 예고된 법규들 중 우리 건축구조기술사와 관련이 있는 법을 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 FTA가 통과되고 엔지니어링산업 시장이 개방될 시 우리 건축구조설계분야가 어느 법제도 하에 있어야 건축구조설계산업이 경쟁력을 갖고 살아남을 수 있겠는지 나름대로 분석한 결과 의견을 피력하고자 한다.

A Study on the Environmental Elements Supporting the People with Disabilities - Focused on the Transportation Facilities of Stockholm and Oslo - (장애인들의 편의를 증진시키기 위한 환경디자인의 세부요소에 관한 연구 - 스톡홀름.오슬로 교통시설을 중심으로 -)

  • This article analyzed the building regulations, the guidelines for the people with disabilities, and the interior environment of the transportation facilities of Stockholm and Oslo, which wee capital cities of leading countries in this field. Result showed that Swedish 'BBR 94' was made and based on accessibility, safety, and efficiency. But the mandatory items and detailed recommendations were minimal. 'The Swedish Handicap Institute' provided more detailed requirements. As a result of case studies of 4 facilities, it appeared that these facilities used sufficient dimension, variable color, different material, or adaptable lightings in order to provide easy accessibility, adaptability, safety, support, and mobility for the people with disabilities instead of keeping the building regulations and guidelines reluctantly.
