  • 경제발전과 도시화에 따른 급격한 인구증가와 집중화로 인해 건축물의 수가 급격히 증가 했으며 이에 건축물의 화재 발생건수 증가와 더불어 인명 및 재산피해도 증가하고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점으로 인명안전의 확보방안으로 건축물의 계획 및 설계 시에는 화재 및 피난시뮬레이션을 통해 건축물의 안정성 평가를 하고 있지만 현재 분석에 사용되는 모든 프로그램들은 우리나라의 특성을 고려해 개발된 국내의 프로그램이 아닌 외국의 프로그램으로 작업을 진행하고 있다. 이에 국내 피난시뮬레이션 프로그램 개발을 하고자 사전연구단계로 피난에 대한 기존연구를 중심으로 피난관련연구동향을 심층분석해 보았다.

Study on Exposed Piping with High Risk of Fire (화재 위험성이 높은 노출배관 사용에 관한 연구)

  • PVC pipe has excellent corrosion resistance and chemical resistance and is broadly used. However there are no regulations regarding exposed piping material in buildings. There is growing concern about the vulnerability of piping to fires and generating toxic gas. Exposed piping should be made of incombustible materials to prevent spreading of toxic gas and to minimize damage to life and property in case of fire. Many big structures are being built, and concerns regarding damage by fire are continuously growing. In these circumstances, we should reinforce fire safety standards for buildings and heighten safety consciousness to become a well-developed country. For these reasons, we investigated the materials used for exposed piping and the standards of well-developed countries to enhance safety. We tried to figure out the alternatives by examining the actual conditions of each region's buildings. Based on the use of incombustible materials for exposed piping in each region, we tried to enhance the effectiveness for safety by suggesting revisions for related laws and regulations.

  • Fire can cause severe damages to human lives, properties, and environment resources regardless to where the fire will be happened and the evaluation methods for fire impact against fire objects such as human, properties are different among nations around the world. ISO TC 92 (Fire safety) has 4 sub committees to develop international standard to harmonize each nation standards and evaluate fire impact and the experts from all around the world participate in preparing international standards on fire. The main purpose of this study is to suggest a new road-map for domestic fire resistant standard of building structures. To make a new road-map two activities of the ISO's major committees and the countermeasures of fire safety from our standards were investigated.

  • 최근 피난 및 소화활동의 제약이 많은 대형 및 고층건축물의 증가함에 따라 화재 시 많은 인적 물적 피해가 예상된다. 이에 국내외에서는 화재로부터 인명 및 재산을 보호하기 위한 방법으로 종합적이고 과학적인 성능위주 소방설계를 실시하고 있으며 이를 위해서는 건축물의 화재 및 피난에 대한 공학적 분석이 요구되는데 현재는 대부분 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 프로그램이 활용되고 있다. 이러한 컴퓨터 피난프로그램은 국내에서 아직 상용화된 프로그램 없어 외국 피난프로그램과 데이터를 그대로 활용 하고 있다. 국외의 피난 프로그램은 국내의 건축물 및 재실자의 특성을 정확하게 반영할 수 없으며 알고리즘 또는 해석방식에 대한 이해가 어려워 잘못된 분석결과를 가져올 수도 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내의 상황을 반영할 수 있는 피난프로그램 개발을 하고자 국내에서 활용 되고 있는 피난 프로그램의 세부모델에 대한 분석을 통해 피난 프로그램의 국내 피난 프로그램의 세부모델의 개발방향을 설정을 하고자한다.

  • In this study, to recognize the limitations and problems of fire safety in existing deteriorated buildings in Korea, and to analyze the fire case of Jongno Gooshiwon, the fire life safety assessment was performed and analyzed through fire egress simulation and analyzed the domestic and foreign related codes and regulations. In order to secure the fire safety of existing deteriorated buildings, it is necessary to adopt the systematic introduction and application of fire safety performance evaluation of buildings based on quantitative and objective indicated method for performance maintenance and management for fire life safety.

  • This study is intended to present a computational thermal model for a residential building. As the Performance Based Design is more popular, fire-intensity and fire-load have turned out to be very important factors for building design and can be predicted through some computational work. To predict and estimate the fire properties of a residential fire, we made some numerical models of combustibles and residential building. In a bid to validate the estimate values, computational analysis results from numerical models were compared with real fire tests. For computational analysis, the Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) was used with Large Eddy Simulation (LES) model for turbulence. Consequently, fire-intensity was well predicted and flash-over of rooms were successfully estimated.

A Study on the Fire Prevention of Temporary Constructions Connected with Factory Buildings (공장건물에 연결된 가설건축물 화재예방에 관한 연구)

  • Temporary constructions are defined as constructions for temporary use, but frequently they are used long like permanent constructions and connected with main constructions. In this case, fire hazardousness increase. But there is no way to control this hazard in our system. This study include investigation of present related law survey about sample complex, collection of related lawsuit result and estimation of hazardousness of each contemporary construction type. The conclusion is that the article that specify distance between main construction and temporary one should be created in the architectural law. Or to apply fire service law to area of temporary construction, fire service law should be changed properly.
