Representation of building internal space is an active research area as the need for more geometrically accurate and visually realistic increases. 3 dimensional representation is common ground of research for disciplines such as computer graphics, architectural design and engineering and Geographic Information System (GIS). In many cases CAD plans are the starting point of reconstruction of 3D building models. The main objectives of building reconstruction in GIS applications are visualization and spatial analysis. Hence, CAD plans need to be preprocessed and edited to adapt to the data models of GIS SW and then georeferenced to enable spatial analysis. This study automated the preprocessing of CAD data using AutoCAD VBA (Visual Basic Application), and the processed data was topologically restructured for further analysis in GIS environment. Accuracy of georeferencing CAD data was also examined by comparing the results of coordinate transformation by using digital maps and GPS measurements as the sources of ground control points. The reconstructed buildings were then applied to visualization and network modeling.

사회적 변화에 따른 대중에게 열린 문화 공간이라는 현대 박물관의 사회적 역할과 기능에 대한 개념은 이미 보편화되어 있다. 다원화, 대중의 열린 교육 공간, 커뮤니티를 위한 공간 등 대중을 위한 지적ㆍ문화적 욕구를 충족시켜 주는 일상과 연계된 열린 공간으로의 변화가 세계적인 추세인 것이다. 하지만 대 사회적 역할을 수행해야 할 국내의 대규모 국ㆍ공립 박물관은 지속적으로 논의되어지고 있는 공공박물관의 역할을 수행하기에는 프로그램의 내용과 이를 수용하는 건축적 대응이 선진 외국박물관들에 비해 많은 면에서 미흡한 것이 사실이다. 따라서 본 글에서는 현대 박물관들이 관람객과 지역주민들을 위해 마련하고 있는 다양한 프로그램의 유형과 그 운영실태를 파악하고 이와 대응하는 공공서비스영역의 건축적 고려에 대한 사항을 분석하여 공공박물관(Public Museum)개념의 적용에 있어 도움이 되는 방법을 제안해본다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the morphology of polyhedra as a tool diversifying the approach to structures and shapes, and to consider the way of the morphogenesis as structural design sources. First, through many examples in nature and styles used as the rhetorical representation of buildings, the shapes of which are based on one of polyhedra are shown. Secondly, the morphogenetic characteristics of polyhedra limited to pure lattice structure are investigated. Thereby the methodology of spatial morphogenesis of polyhedra as structural design sources are generated.

In space syntax, the mathmatical process to get a integration could be restrictive in understanding spatial configuration since it is based on only one behavior model. In this study, As another approach to spatial configuration analysis based on behavioral model, there is the simulation tracking analysis model that simulates the movements of human in the space and analyze them. In this study, the relationship between integration and behavioral model will be defined and the similarities and the differences between space syntax and the simulation tracking analysis model will be demonstrated. Furthermore, these two analysis models will be understood as a variety of tools that can analyze an object in multiple viewpoints.
