Seismic performance evaluation of existing road tunnels based on revised seismic design code (개정된 내진설계기준에 기반한 기존 도로 터널의 내진 성능 평가)

  • Because of a new seismic design code has been enacted in 2023, there is a need to evaluate whether the road tunnels in operation satisfies the requirements of the new code. Four tunnels that are considered to be most susceptible to damage. Time history analyses are performed to quantify their seismic performances. The input ground motions generated to fit both 2007 and 2023 codes are used to evaluate the effect of the motions on the calculated responses. The analyses show that all tunnels perform favorably and satisfies the requirements successfully. Therefore, retrofit or reinforcement are deemed as unnecessary.

  • The performance of the existing tunnel scanning system was analyzed through the post-evaluation of NETIS (New Technology Information System) and Inspection Support Technology Performance Catalog. Suggestions for improvement and development direction of the tunnel scanning system were deduced. As new technology of Japan gave priority to providing user-centered information, it was possible to objectively compare and analyze the characteristics of various tunnel scan systems through post-evaluation of NETIS and standard test methods in the Inspection Support Technology Performance Catalog. Construction New Technology of Korea was centered on suppliers of technology certification, making it impossible to objectively compare the performance of tunnel scanning systems. The performance was compared and evaluated indirectly by comparing the specifications of the camera, which is a core device of Japan's tunnel scanning system. For the future development of tunnel scanning systems, high-resolution and fast exposure performance of cameras and corresponding high-intensity lighting devices are required. For this purpose, it is necessary to make an experimental environment in which the performance of the camera and lighting can be analyzed indoors.

  • A test method for assessing service life of building materials and components based on performance degradation data is developed. The performance of a building material degrades as time goes by and the failure of the material is often defined as the point at which the performance of the material reaches a pre-specified degraded level. A performance-based test method is developed and a numerical example is provided to illustrate the use of the developed test method.

  • 올해부터, 수직증축 리모델링이 허용돼 15층 이상의 공동주택은 최대 3개층 14층 이하의 공동주택은 최대 2개층까지 증축이 가능해지며, 건축 설비 환경 에너지 등의 업체가 참여해 에너지 성능 향상 리모델링 공사에 참여하는 그린리모델링 사업이 본격 추진된다. 또한 선도지역 8곳에서 도시재생사업이 본격화되어 정부 예산 243억원이 집중 지원될 예정이다. 한편, 하도급법 개정으로 하도급 부당특약이 금지되며 지급보증금 미지급 문제로부터 하도급업체가 보호받게 된다. 본지는 올해부터 달라지는 건설 중소기업 관련 각종 제도 개편을 게재한다.

  • 하천법에서 정의하고 있는 하천시설은 시설은 제방과 수문을 포함하여 20여종에 달한다. 이 중 하천유지 보수 매뉴얼(국토교통부, 2016)에서 정한 유지관리 대상은 총 14종이며, 국가 및 지방하천 정비와 유지관리에 4대강살리기사업 완료 시점인 2012년 이후 연간 약 1.3조원의 예산을 투입하고 있다. 연간 막대한 예산이 투입되어 관리되고 있는 하천관리의 효율성을 제고하기 위해 하천시설에 대한 생애주기관리기법적용 연구가 진행 중이며 이를 위해서는 하천시설의 성능에 대한 정확한 평가가 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 배수통문에 대한 성능평가모델을 산정하는 방법을 제시하였다. 우선적으로 배수통문의 설치년도와 시설물안전등급을 조사하고 등급별 평균사용연수를 산정하고 시설물 성능예측 기본식의 계수를 산정하여 성능평가모델 산정식을 도출하였다. 배수통문 성능평가모델 산정식과 등급별 평균 사용연수를 비교하여 산정식의 적용성을 검증하였다. 본 연구를 통해 하천시설의 사용연수에 따른 성능을 개략적으로 예측하여 유지관리예산 투입의 우선 순위를 결정하는데 기초자료로 활용이 가능하다고 판단된다.

  • The radio frequency identification (RFID) technology allows various forms of applications in many industries including construction. and in Korea, RFID has already been adopted for the use in daily labor control, logistics monitoring of ready-mix concrete, supply chain management of long-lead items, such as structural steel members and curtain walls. Even though RFID tags have varied reading performances depending on various factors including material of tracking target and surrounding environment, there is no information on how much the reading performance of an RFID tag can be achieved against a specific construction components or materials. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify the actual reading performance of various RFID technologies and to derive a method to maximize the reading performance for the use in the supply chain management process of curtain wall components.

  • 전 지구적 기온상승으로 인한 기후변화는 사회적, 수문학적, 다양한 분야에 영향을 미친다. 또한 IPCC(Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change)의 보고서에 따르면 미래에도 지속적으로 기온상승이 예상되며, 이러한 현상은 인류의 삶에 큰 영향을 미칠것으로 예상된다. 또한 수자원 및 관련 분야에서도 기온 상승에 따른 강수량, 강수의 주기 변동, 극한 기후사상의 심도(severity)와 빈도 변화에 따른 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 미래의 강우량과 온도를 예측하는 기후변화연구에서는 다양한 기후모형을 고려하여 분석한다. 하지만 모든 기후모형이 우리나라에 적합한 것은 아니므로 과거 기후를 모의한 결과를 토대로 성능이 뛰어난 모형의 결과에 더 높은 가중치를 주고 미래를 예측하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 일반적으로 기후모형으로 GCM (General Circulation Model) 모의 결과가 이용되는데 우리나라에 대한 GCM 결과의 정확성을 분석하는 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 21개의 GCM을 대상으로 과거 모의 자료(1970년~2005년)를 실제 관측소에서 관측된 강수량과 비교하여 각 GCM들의 성능을 평가하고 이를 토대로, GCM들의 우선순위를 선정하였다. 또한 격자 기반 GCM 결과를 IDW (Inverse Distance Weighted) 방법을 사용하여 기상관측소로 지역적 상세화를 수행하였으며, GCM과 관측자료 사이의 편이를 보정하기 위해 6가지의 Quantile Mapping 방법과 Random Forest 기법을 사용하였다. 또한 편이 보정 기법 중 성능이 좋은 기법을 선택하여 관측소에 적용하였다. 편이 보정된 GCM 모의결과에 대한 성능을 토대로 우수한 GCM 순위를 도출하기 위해 다기준의사결정기법 중 하나인 TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution)를 이용하였다. 그리고 GCM의 전망기간인 2010년부터 2018년까지의 Machine learning 방법과 Quantile mapping의 기법을 비교 및 성능이 우수한 편이 보정 방법을 선택한 후 전망기간 동안의 GCM 성능의 우선순위를 선정하였다.

  • Structural performance and serviceability of precast deck system are mostly determined by connection details between precast decks. Particularly, since the bridge deck is under repeated loads such as traffic loads, fatigue behavior and performance of joints should be investigated. In this study, a two-girder continuous composite bridge specimen was fabricated using the asymmetric ribbed loop joints, and static and fatigue load tests were conducted to evaluate the structural behavior and the crack pattern of the bridge deck. From the test results, the proposed precast deck system resulted in sufficient fatigue performance and failure strength. Therefore, the proposed precast deck system can be applied to the connection part of precast decks effectively.

Evaluation of Support Performance of Fiber-Net Integrated Shotcrete in Tunnel Support System (숏크리트용 섬유 그물망 일체형 터널 지보시스템의 지보 성능 평가)

  • This study evaluated the support performance of fiber-net integrated shotcrete in tunnel support system developed for the purpose of improving constructability and stability while fully performing its mechanical performance as a tunnel support materials by four-point bending test, two-dimensional numerical analysis, and cross-sectional analysis. As a result of evaluating the flexural performance through a four-point bending test, in the case of fiber-net reinforced shotcrete, the tensile performance of fiber-net resulted in a continuous increase in load after crack occurrence, unlike steel fiber reinforced shotcrete. Also, the results of the tunnel cross-sectional structure analysis for ground conditions and the cross-sectional analysis of fiber-net and steel fiber reinforced shotcrete showed that sufficient support performance can be exhibited even if the thickness of fiber-net reinforced shotcrete was reduced compared to the previous one. Additionally, through these results, the support pattern of fiber-net integrated shotcrete in tunnel support system, which can be applied efficiently to the construction sections requiring higher stability among the rock mass class III, was proposed.

An Experimental Study on the Healing Performance of Cement Composites According to Mixing Ratio of Self-Healing Hybrid Capsules (자기치유 하이브리드 캡슐 혼합율에 따른 시멘트 복합재료의 치유성능에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, the self-healing hybrid capsules were prepared, were mixed with 3 %, 5 %, and 7 % based on cement mass. The healing performance were evaluated according to mixing ratio self-healing hybrid capsule. As a result of the experiment, it was found that the crack healing performance improved as the mixing rate of the self-healing hybrid capsule increased, but the quality performance tended to decrease. Therefore, it is judged that using the mixing ratio of the hybrid capsule within 5 % reduces the quality performance to within about 10 % and secures about 90 % or more of the healing performance.
