A Study on the Analysis of Simulation for Fire Safety Diagnosis in Wooden Building Congested Area (목조건물 밀집 지역의 화재위험성 평가를 위한 시뮬레이션 해석에 관한 연구)

  • Korea rapidly arranged urbanization and overpopulation with high growth of economy and all kinds of decrepit facilities are scattered all over the downtown. If there is a strong wind in fire, fire is rapidly increased by various fire spread factors. And Korea cannot build prediction model of urban fire combustion phenomena because there is no studies that physically explains the suitable flame phenomena for its real state. In this study, based on the Japanese Urban fire simulation to target the wooden building congested Area and suitability of fire risk assessment were reviewed.

  • 김해 국제공항 2단계 확장 공사 중 구 국제선 청사 발파해체공사"는 5.5초의 기폭시차를 두고 약 7초간에 구조물의 붕괴를 유도하여, 단기간에 안전하며 최대의 효율을 낼 수 있는 발파해체공법을 적용하여 시공하였다. 이에 따라 발파해체공사의 공법, 공정, 세부 현황 및 결과, 발파공해영향권에 대해 분석, 평가 하였다. 구 국제선청사 구조물은 3층 높이로 저층 구조물에 해당하고 구조물의 특성상 Span 간격이 길고 충고가 높다. 또한 지반이 액상한계점 상태까지 도달하여 구조안전진단 결과 위험등급인 D등급으로 판정되었다. 본 대상건물과 같이 충고는 낮지만, 구조 안전성 측면에서 위험 요소를 가지고 있으므로 발파공법을 적용하여 해체를 실시하였다.

  • 국내 경제성장이 증대함에 따라 철근콘크리트 건축구조물은 다양화, 복잡화, 고층화 되고 있으며 이로 인한 사업의 무리한 추진으로 부실시공 등으로 국내에서는 1970년 4월 서울마포의 와우아파트 붕괴사고, 1995년 6월 삼풍붕괴 사고 등 크고 작은 사건 및 사고로 인한 막대한 재산과 고귀한 생명의 손실 등이 사회적인 문제로 대두되면서 건축물의 유지관리 및 안전진단 등에 대한 중요성이 부각되기 시작했다. 이렇게 크고 작은 사고들이 많이 발생함에 따라 기술인 들이 피땀 흘려 건설된 공공시설을 불신하게 되면서 건설공사중인 현장과 사용중인 시설물에 대해서 법으로 규제사항을 강화하거나 새로운 내용이 신설되고 있는 실정이며 전국 중요 시설물에 대한 유지 관리 업의 중요성이 대두되고 있는 실정이다.(중략)

  • Structural safety as well as variety and aesthetics of building facade are currently gathering more attention in building construction and stone curtain wall is widely used in exterior wall. However, two main problems are existed in curtain wall construction method. One is an uniformity of construction quality and the other is a repair work of stone panels. Also, the noise and vibration occurring in construction may be cause of civil complaint. Therefore, a new method is needed to overcome these problems. This paper presents a new stone curtain wall system using under cut anchor and secondary holes that was developed in this study. Additionally, structural performance evaluation was conducted to verify the constructability and structural safety for wind pressure and seismic load. Through the evaluation of this method, improved constructability and economic efficiency were verified.

  • In order to grasp and evaluate the characteristics and the safety of traditional wooden building, we select one of the representative traditional wooden building, Buseoksa Muryangsujeon in this study. After the two and three-dimensional structural analysis of this building are performed, the results are compared and analyzed. Following main conclusion are obtained: 1) By comparison between the results of two and three-dimensional structural analysis, they show that the exterior members of this building tend to transfer more load in the three-dimensional analysis. 2) The result of three-dimensional structural analysis shows that the every member stress of Buseoksa Muryangsujeon except Chobang and Jangyon is below allowable stress. 3) For exact modelling of joints of members in traditional wooden building such as Gongpo, it is necessary to accumulate and analyze the technical data through structural test and systematic analysis study.

Study on the Nonlinear Analysis Model for Seismic Performance Evaluation of School Buildings Retrofitted with Infilled Steel Frame with Brace (철골 끼움가새골조로 보강된 학교건물의 내진성능평가를 위한 비선형 해석 모델에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, damage to buildings due to earthquakes in Korea occurred mainly in school buildings and Piloti-type multi-family houses, highlighting the need for seismic retrofit for buildings of the same type. In the early days of the seismic retrofit project for school facilities, various patented methods using dampers as a ductile seismic retrofit method were applied without sufficient verification procedures. However, in 「School Facility Seismic Performance Evaluation and Retrofit Manual, 2021」, when the patented method is applied, it must be applied through a separate strict verification procedure, and instead, the strength/stiffness retrofit method was induced as a general method. In practice,when evaluating seismic performance for retrofit by infilled steel frame with brace, the analysis model is constructed by directly connecting only the steel brace to the existing RC member. However, if the frame is removed from the analysis model of the infilled steel frame with brace, the force reduction occurring on the existing RC member near the retrofit is considered to be very large, and this is judged to affect the review of whether to retrofit the foundation or not. Therefore, in this study, preliminary analysis with variables such as whether or not steel frame is taken into account and frame link method for the analysis model of RC school building retrofitted by infilled steel frame with brace and nonlinear analysis for actual 3-story school building was performed, and basic data for rational analysis model setting were presented by comparing preliminary analysis and pushover analysis results for each variable.

Analyses of Structural Performances for Reinforced Concrete Middle-Rise Residential Building under Construction (중층 규모 철근콘크리트 주거형 건물의 시공 중 구조성능 분석)

  • Middle-rise reinforced concrete residential buildings account for a large portion of the Korea, and structural performance analysis are needed for problems that could occur during the construction of such buildings. Thus, a middle-rise reinforced concrete residential building with 25 stories are selected as a sample model for structural performance analysis. The structural analyses are performed by dividing a sample model into the construction stage models of the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th floors and the completion stage models with the design completed. For the comparisons of structural performances, Eigenvalue analysis results and lateral-load-resisting capabilities and structural design performances of structural members are analyzed. As a result of analyses, it was confirmed that both the construction and completion stage do not exceed KBC criteria limits at the lateral displacement and story drift ratio, and structural design performances of structural members confirm structural safety in all components except for some members of the wall. Therefore, it was concluded that if structural stability is obtained during the completion stage of a middle-rise reinforced concrete residential building, structural stability is secured under construction.

UAV and LiDAR SLAM Combination Effectiveness Review for Indoor and Outdoor Reverse Engineering of Multi-Story Building (복층 건물 실내외 역설계를 위한 UAV 및 LiDAR SLAM 조합 효용성 검토)

  • TRecently, smart cities that solve various problems in cities based on IoT technology are in the spotlight. In particular, cases of BIM application for smooth management of construction and maintenance are increasing, and spatial information is converted into 3D data through convergence technology and used for safety diagnosis. The purpose of this study is to create and combine point clouds of a multi-story building by using a ground laser scanner and a handheld LiDAR SLAM among UAV and LiDAR equipment, supplementing the Occluded area and disadvantages of each technology, examine the effectiveness of indoor and outdoor reverse design by observing shape reproduction and accuracy. As a result of the review, it was confirmed that the coordinate accuracy of the data was improved by creating and combining the indoor and outdoor point clouds of the multi-story building using three technologies. In particular, by supplementing the shortcomings of each technology, the completeness of the shape reproduction of the building was improved, the Occluded area and boundary were clearly distinguished, and the effectiveness of reverse engineering was verified.

  • Nuclear power plant concrete structures are in contact with the coast, and durability due to chloride attack is very important because it is used as cooling water by taking seawater. For this purpose, a 3-year long-term saltwater immersion test was carried out to evaluate chloride ion diffusion coefficient and age apponent (m) The m values of the foundation with 4,000 class was 0.35 ~ 0.39, similar to KCI or ACI suggested values. essential service water constructions and tunnels of 5,000 class were 0.44 ~ 0.53 and 6,000 class, and 0.62 of reactor containment buildings were similar to the proposed values of FIB. As a result of the prediction of the service life with the measured age coefficient, all the safety related concrete structures of the nuclear power plants satisfied the service life of more than 60 years.

  • Purpose: The study is based on comparative review of the actual inspection of apartments and aims at proposing easy accessible and useful safety control which is enhanced from pre-existing safety apparatus. Method: On the basis of preceding research data of apartment buildings, the study presents reported problems and real condition of apartment buildings based on Housing Related Legislation and Housing Act. Results: Safety management plans and safety inspection for buildings are needed. When conducting a safety check, traceability management system for internal/exterior facilities should be available. Most important of all, 24 hour a day of self-management system for elevators, fire protection, and security cameras is necessary. Conclusion: Through the study, there should be a process of confirming problems of building security management; such as checking the management condition through apartments' resident representatives, and seeking improvement measures.
