The purposes of this study are to find the difference in information literacy among the elderly home care service users and to identify the impact of information literacy on service quality and satisfaction among service users. To achieve the goals, this study used 466 responses from the elderly home care service recipients in Jeollabukdo providence, and conducted t-tests, ANOVA and a series of regression analyses. The results showed that there were significant differences in information literacy by gender, household type, residence area, education level and subjective health status among service users. The study also found that service users information literacy had a significant impact on service quality and satisfaction, and it confirms the importance of customized service. This study suggests that information literacy inequality exists among the elderly home care service users, therefore, the way to improve information delivery strategy should be developed for the information-poor elderly.

Purpose: This study aimed to design user interfaces of a mobile application for managing pressure injury patients in a long-term care hospital based on the user's needs. Methods: To reflect users' needs in the mobile application, the user interfaces in this study were designed in five steps: brainstorming and mind mapping, persona and scenario, needs list and priority, a draft version of flow chart and user interfaces and expert review. These steps were conducted with a step nurse at a long-term care hospital, a professor who majored in nursing informatics, a professor who had lots of research experiences about pressure injury and a wound ostomy continence nurse. Results: Two personas, scenarios and needs' lists were derived. Listed Needs included the followings; Accurate staging of pressure injury; Appropriate management by staging; Acquisition of professional knowledge about pressure injury; Acquisition of easy pressure injury information through text, picture and video; and Sharing pressure injury information in unit. The structure, menus and features of the pressure injury mobile application were visualized with user flow based on two personas' scenarios and needs' lists. Conclusion: Our study suggests and visualizes the key features of the 'Pressure Injury Guide', a pressure injury management mobile application for nurses in a long-term care hospital, which can be utilized by nurses, application developers, and related researchers.

This study was to examine the relationship between suicidal ideation, depression, stress and their parent's socioeconomic status. Nation-wide representative data from the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2009 were used in this study. 904 adolescents with parent were analysed. Parent's socioeconomic status, especially mother's low educational level and the beneficiaries for national basic livelihood security were significant risk factor for adolescents' suicidal ideation. These associations remained significant in multiple logistic regression controlling for all covariates. The findings in the current study support the global literature on the importance of socioeconomic status in promoting adolescent's mental health. Future prevention intervention efforts to improve adolescent's suicide risk will need to take into consideration parent's and household's socioeconomic conditions. Future study is needed to explore the possible proximal risk factors and mediators between parent's socioeconomic status and mental health among adolescents.

Purpose: This study was conducted to explore the experience of smart-home healthcare among older adults who had participated in the smart-home technology development project. Methods: Data were collected by focus group interviews with 7 hypertension or diabetes participants(mean age 75 years). Qualitative contents analysis was used to analyze the verbal data. Results: The results were composed of 27 meanings units, 10 categories and 6 themes. The 6 themes are: 'improvement of health conditions through anytime anywhere self-monitoring', 'attractive experience to be counselling at home', 'frequent system and telecommunication problems', 'unfamiliar devices for elderly users', 'complementary strategies for activation', 'advancement of elderly-friendly devices and programs'. Conclusion: The smart-home healthcare system should be developed based on older adults' preferences. It is essential to make progress with professional resources and organizational supports in the future.

This study was attempted to investigate relationship between level of frailty and sleep duration in the Korean older adults using data from the 8th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(KNHANES VIII-1, 2019). The subjects were 1,690, complex sample frequency, descriptive statistics, cross and logistic regression analysis were performed using SPSS program. As a main result, sleep duration simultaneously adjusted for general, health behavior and disease characteristics did not show significant relationship between frail level, but 'not recommended' sleep duration is significantly decreased 70~74 years old, significantly increased lower level of education, lower level of income, and a lot of perceived stress. Finally, personal and social efforts are required to prevent frailty, improve sleep duration of older adults.

Recently, Ubiquitous innovation is being promoted so that they can support the uHealthcare provide management to human's health. It is thus necessary to conduct such research on the medical care environment where there is a high demand for utilization of status information. In the current situation, there is a lack of research on measures of security processing and monitoring patient status information produced from rapid growth of infra within Medical environment. This study suggests a solution of using RFID to gather patient information such as inpatient information, location of treatment room, progress of patient, humidity, temperature, and diagnostic status, after which the information are protect and processed using security level method.

과학위성 1호는 기존의 우리별 1,2,3호의 개발경험을 바탕으로 기술 습득과 독자 개발의 단계를 거쳐 기술의 최적화와 동시에 원자외선 분광기, 우주과학 탑재체, 원격 자료 수집 등의 우주 환경 측정 및 지상 생명체 탐사의 임무를 수행하기위한 최초의 국내 위성이다. 과학위성 1호 지상국 시스템은 과학위성 1호의 맡은바 임무를 원활히 수행할 수 있도록 각종 명령이나 프로그램을 위성으로 송신하여 위성을 조정하고, 위성의 건강상태를 파악할 수 있는 원격검침정보와 탑재체로부터 측정된 실험자료를 수신하며, 수신된 모든 자료를 저장, 처리 및 관리하여 위성의 상태를 정상적으로 유지하고 수신 자료를 요구하는 사용자들에게 분배하기 위한 목적으로 개발되었다. 본 연구에서는 과학위성 1호 지상국 시스템의 개발 및 설치에 관한 전반적인 사항에 대하여 살펴보았다.

예방의학은 병의 예방을 중점을 둔 위생학의 한 분야로써 건강을 유지 증진하는 것이 가장 중요하다. 이러한 예방의학은 언제 어디서나 환자의 성격 및 질병의 상황에 따라 지속적인 관리를 요구한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 센서네트워크 기술을 적용하여 사용자의 상황데이터를 확보하고 의료 환자의 질병록(Medical records)을 프로필 데이터로 적용함으로써 사용자의 의료 상황정보를 예방의학에 적용 할 수 있는 모델을 제시한다. 이를 바탕으로 예방의학 서비스를 가능한 시스템을 설계하였다.

현대 사회에서의 삶의 모습이 다양해짐에 따라 생활습관이 다양해지고 잘못된 생활습관으로 인한 생활습관병에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사물인터넷 및 빅데이터와 같은 IT기술을 통해 사용자의 다양한 생활습관을 추적할 수 있는 방법과 그 응용 기술에 대해서 소개하고자 한다. 이러한 생활습관 추적 및 분석 기술은 다양한 사용자의 요구에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있으며 노약자나 장애인, 생활습관병 환자 등 특수계층의 건강 예측, 질병 관리 분야에서 실효성을 가질 수 있다. 특히 본 논문에서는 라이프케어 서비스를 위한 사용자 센싱 기술에 초점을 두고, 낮 시간의 활동과, 밤 시간의 수면 및 위치 기반 기술, 빅데이터 플랫폼, 스마트 홈 패턴 모델링 기술에 대해서 소개한다.

The present study aims to identify the factors that affect the continuous use and discontinuance of the hospital information seeking applications(hospital apps thereafter) by employing the post acceptance model. The surveys were conducted with people who used the hospital apps from October 11 to 18, 2019. Researchers collected 125 valid data and analyzed them by using the structural equation model. The study found that the satisfaction and confirmation of expectation for the hospital apps users had significant effects on intention for continuous use and perceived usefulness, respectively. However, the perceived usefulness did not have a significant effect on the intention for continue use. The present study has identified the variables that influence the continuous use of these innovative technologies. The findings of the study confirmed the post acceptance model by observing the adoption and use of the hospital apps and extended the literature of the post acceptance model by discussing the unique characteristics of the hospital apps that satisfy the urgent help-seekers under emergency situations or the information needs emphasizing promptness. In addition, based on the benefits and limitations of hospital apps reported by consumers, the study provided practical implications for designing more user-friendly apps to hospital app developers or managers.
