We analyzed 18 representative Korean health information related web-sites for assessing confidence and satisfaction. The 18 representative web-sites are selected by rank information of a ranking web-site for Korean web-sites. In order to analyze confidence and satisfaction degrees on the 18 web-sites, we used 19 assessment criteria and 5 important elements of our former research paper. In the results, we found out the present states of confidence and satisfaction degrees of Korean health information web-sites and we presented methods for utilizing these results for web-site administrators and health consumers.

This study investigated the current tendency of the middle school student's use of the food and nutrition information from the internet web site. The research employed web survey for the national middle school students. Middle school students usually searched the internet information to do homework and to solve the own curiosity. Forty percent of respondents had experience to get food and nutrition information from tile internet, and 74% of them were girl. Cooking method and world cooking exploring were the most wanted information among food and nutrition information. Professional cooking site and tips of food and nutrition from study aiding sites and monthly magazine sites were tile resources of food and nutrition information. The mai or reasons for searching the food and nutrition information were to know the cooking method and out of curiosity. The most unsatisfied problems were unnecessary information, too much advertisement and too difficult contents when the users approached the site to get the food and nutrition information. Students who have been not interested in and had no homework about food and nutrition, had no visiting experience of web sites for food and nutrition information. Therefore, to provide food and nutrition information for teenagers through internet, web sites were developed to have easy contents linked to study aiding site or other sites that teenagers frequently visit. Since teenager's interest about health issues is not as high as adult's one, the contents of sites must be easy for teenagers to follow and fun, however, should be based on scientific facts on food, nutrition and disease.

As internet activates, web sites that supply images harmful to the emotion of youth are overflowing rapidly. Chances that the youth approach to the harmful sites are increasing, and then the emotion of youth is damaged seriously. In this paper, we present the system that distinguish harmful ones from images in the web documents of user-accessed URLs and output the document after blocking images harmful to the youth. As the results of the experiments about performance of the web-images blocking system, we found the utility factor of blocking harmful images of the proposed system is 89.6％ in the full nudity 70.1％ in the half nudity, and the error rate is 2.4％ in the face images.

Because of increased concern regarding health and well-being, interest in consumer health information (CHI) has also increased, leading to a growing number of health-related websites. As a result, research has shown that public libraries are experiencing an increased demand for CHI-related reference services. The task of providing these services then falls on the public reference librarian, who is often untrained and inexperienced in this area. Therefore, improvements to how public libraries provide CHI reference services effectively are needed. This study analyzed the previous research at home and abroad, and developed CHI reference guidelines for public librarians. Guidelines developed in this study went through a verification process utilizing expert advice and a survey of public librarians.

This study purpose to identifying the roles of Health Information Librarian which its role is increasing according to increase recent interest in wellness and health. In other words, this study will present the Education, careen duties and so on, which should be possed by Health Information Librarian, based on the analysis of Job Site. As as result, first, health information professional librarian's name appears very diverse, and consumer health information librarian will be appropriate name for public libraries and medical librarian will be appropriate for medical library and hospital library. Second, education experience required for health information librarian is master's degree of library and information science and bachelor's or more health related degree. Third, at least two years of health-related field experience, particularly health information service experience, is required. Forth, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are required, expecially higher knowledge for health-related information resources is required. Fifth, the main duties what health information librarian need to perform, are library management services, training services, research services, access to and sharing of information resources, collection management, information management, information management technology, and advocacy.

지적 장애인은 제한된 활동 환경 범위의 제약으로 인해 자기 신체 구조에 맞는 운동법을 접할 기회가 적고, 각자의 건강 상태와 신체 구조에 따라 운동할 때 세심한 요구가 필요하다. 본 논문은 지적 장애인을 대상으로 비만 관리에 대한 필요성 인지 및 신체 활동량을 늘리기 위한 개인 맞춤형 운동 루틴 추천 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안한 시스템을 구성하기 위해 먼저 대한장애인체육회에서 제공하는 건강 상태, 신체 정보, 장애 유형 및 등급 등의 데이터를 분석하였다. 또한, 웹 사이트에서 장애인의 입력 정보가 들어오면 TF-IDF 벡터를 산출하고, 다른 사용자와의 코사인 유사성을 분석해 운동 루틴을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 추천 시스템을 통해 지적 장애인을 대상으로 맞춤형 건강관리에 대한 인식 향상 및 건강권 보장, 운동 효율 증진 등을 기대할 수 있다.

This study investigated what web users share on a health website and how the demographic characteristics of users reflect health information sharing behavior. By using a content analysis method, this study analyzed 1,042 randomly chosen messages in the discussion board of a health website. The results revealed that the health website users emotionally supported other users, provided health information, and built relationships between them. Two third of the health website users shared his/her thoughts or feelings about ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) on the health website and one fourth of the health website users connected with others who had ALS. A half of the users actively provided information as a direct response to a question. No significant differences were discerned with regard to total posting frequency by age and gender effect. However, the male users in the 50s answered questions to others more actively and tried to manage their life better than the other age groups.

인터넷이 활성화되면서 청소년에게 유해한 영상을 제공하는 사이트들이 급속히 범람하고 있으며, 이로 인해 청소년들의 정신 건강이 심각하게 훼손되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 청소년들이 접근하기 쉬운 유해 URL 의 웹문서에 대해 그 문서 내에 포함되어 있는 영상들의 유해성을 판별하여 유해 영상을 선택적으로 차단할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하여 제시한다. 유해 URL들에 대해 실험한 결과, 제안한 시스템의 효율은 full nudity의 경우에는 89.6% , 반라의 경우는 70.1% 의 차단 효율을 나타내었으며, 얼굴영상의 경우는 2%의 오판별이 있었다.

This study explored how rumor is diffused via Twitter and how the characteristics of rumor affect the interactivity among users in the Korea-U.S. FTA case. A key word search located three issues as major ones related to the Korea-U.S. FTA: appendectomy myth, collapse of health insurance, and increases in medicine prices. The arousal of rumor has two dimensions: fact and expression. The fact arousal was the highest in the issue of 'appendectomy myth', and the expression arousal the highest in 'increases in medicine prices'. The rumor diffusion took the 'explosive wave' in the issue of appendectomy myth, the 'latent wave' in the issue of increase in medicine prices, and the 'repetitive wave' in the issue of collapse of health insurance. Correlation analyses revealed a high correlation between the arousal intensity of rumor and the user interactivity in the issue of collapse of health insurance. The study showed that Twitter took a role of diffusing negative messages about the Korea-U.S. FTA. Results implies that government officials and journalists pay attention to Twitter for sensing the public opinion when building policies and managing crises.

Because of the increased interest in health, medical care, and wellness, the utilization of health-related information resources, especially those found on the Internet, has been rapidly increasing. In addition, despite encountering an increasing number of health and medical-related reference questions in public libraries, public librarians feel limitations in their ability to perform these types of reference services. Therefore, this study proposed the cooperative network system model for vitalizing CHI Services, meaning that all the related agencies, including public libraries, medical libraries, medical institutions, and the health and medical community collaboratively provide consumer health information service. This study presented in detail the key elements of the cooperation model, the subject of cooperation, target sources for cooperation, the content of cooperation, operations of CHI-providing sites, operations and roles of Cooperation Centers, and directions for cooperating with commercial institutions.
