The purpose of this research examined the relationship between the level of news usage on Influenza A(H1N1) and media users' behavioral intention toward health protection. Specifically, the study investigated causal relationships among exposure of media information on Influenza A(H1N1) as an independent variable, psychological protection motivation factors such as perceived severity, vulnerability, response efficacy, & self-efficacy as mediated variables and behavioral intention on personal and public health protection as dependent variables using structure equation model analysis. Self-reported questionnaires were administrated to 460 college students. The result indicated the followings. First, the level of news usage on Influenza A(H1N1) was not statistically significant on influencing behavioral intention toward personal and public health protection. Second, perceived severity, vulnerability, and self-efficacy were significant variables on behavioral intention toward personal health protection whereas perceived vulnerability and response efficacy were significant on public health protection. The function among factors in protection motivation theory is dependent upon whom protected from illness.

옛말에 몸이 천냥이면 눈이 구백냥이라는 말이 있다. 그만큼 눈이 중요하다는 말이다. 이처럼 중요한 눈을 보호하기 위해 우리 몸은 눈을 보호하는 구조로 되어 있다. 위로는 머리뼈가 앞으로는 코뼈, 밖으로는 광대뼈가 철저하게 보호하고 있으며, 만약 외보로부터 눈으로 뭇엇이 날아오면 눈꺼풀과 속눈썹이 반사적으로 반응하여 눈을 감아 외부로부터 눈을 보호한다. 하지만 이런 보호 속에서도 눈은 혹사당하고, 시력이 점점 떨어지는 경우가 많다. 눈은 하루아침에 급격히 나빠지지 않지만 한 번 나빠지면 다시 회복하기가 쉽지 않다. 평소 건강한 눈을 위한 관리법에서 시력을 회복시켜주는 수술까지 눈에 대한 A to Z를 알아본다.

오늘날 의료는 정보통신 기술의 발달과 소비자의 건강에 대한 관심 고조 등을 동인으로 하여 기존의 환자가 치료 목적으로 병원을 찾아가던 환경에서 개인의 질병 예방과 건강 증진을 위해 언제 어디서나 의료서비스가 찾아가는 소위 u-Health 환경으로 패러다임이 전환되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 환경에 대처하는 보건의료 관련 법제에 대한 연구로 현행법률과 현재 계류 중인 법안을 고찰하여 가장 민감한 개인정보인 건강정보의 보호와 활용의 균형을 위한 입법 방향을 제시하였다.

농업인들이 병해충을 방제하기 위해 농약을 살포하는 과정에서 농약이 손이나 피부에 묻거나 호흡을 통해 마시게 된다. 최근 농작업 중 농약을 살포하는 농업인에 대한 건강이 주요 관심사가 되고 있다. 농약으로부터 농업인의 건강을 보호하기 위한 제도와 앞으로 해야 할 일이 무엇인지를 알아보고자 한다.

산업안전보건법 제43조에 따라 건강진단기관이 작성하여 사업주에게 제공하는 건강진단결과표 중 사후관리소견서(2면)에 기재되는 내용이 근로자의 개인정보에 해당되기 때문에 이를 기재하는 행위는 개인정보보호 관련법령에 위반된다는 일부 주장에 대하여 고용노동부가 개인정보보호관련 법률을 담당하는 행정안전부에 당해 사항의 법령 위반여부에 대한 유권해석을 질의한 바, 산업안전보건법에 의한 사후관리소견서상에 개인정보를 기재하는 것과 이상소견이 있는 지에 대한 검진결과 수치를 기재하는 것 모두 개인정보보호 관련법령에 위반하지 않는다는 내용이 회신되어 이를 안내하오니 업무에 참고하시기 바랍니다.

The study examined the mediating effect of emotional dysregulation on the relationship between care worker's job stress and mental health. The Geriatric Caregiver's Job Stress Questionnaire, Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale, and The Symptom Check-List-90-R were administered to 154 care workers. Through the hierarchical regression analysis, direct interrelationship among job stress, emotional dysregulation, and mental health was examined. Furthermore, the statistical significance of mediating effect of emotional dysregulation on the relationship between job stress and mental health was tested through the bootstrapping. The result showed that the lack of emotional clarity and the limited access to emotion regulation strategies appeared to have a complete mediation effect on the relationship between job stress and mental health. That meant the necessity of adaptive emotional regulation in dealing with mental health problem elicited by job stress.

The purpose of this study was to find whether job stress and self-efficacy influence mental fitness of care providers. The intervening variable was self-efficacy. The subjects for this study were 211 care providers. The data was conducted by structural equating model. The results of the study were as follows: The significant result out of this research model was that job stress influenced self-efficacy and self-efficacy influenced mental fitness. Job stress did not affect mental fitness, but job stress had a significant influence on mental fitness through self-efficacy. According to the results of this study, in order to improve the positive mental fitness and increase self-efficacy of care providers, we suggested that we would be required to improve working conditions of care providers.
