Various kinds of studies for building up U-Korea are now underway. Especially, many results of educational application field such as U-Learning and U-Campus applying a USN technique have been founding. There are not, however, enough researches for the student management related to elementary, middle and high school. Therefore, this paper will suggest effective application system of student management which is one of the application systems for a user - centered environment using RFID and NEIS system in Ubiquitous. This system is enable to make it efficiently managed and transmitted students' data about their location and the details of their counsel(career, health and so on).

In a positive Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) environment, by combining the latest computer network technology with IoT technology, remote health care such as health care and monitoring is improved through the provision of quality medical information services. In this paper, we identified and compared the platforms applied with blockchain and presented the results of developing the product distribution de-centralized DApp. In the process, we developed a distribution platform that can use blockchain technology to identify product fraud, manage data, manage customers' information, prevent forgery, track transaction history, and facilitate product transactions.

Purpose: This study aimed to obtain basic data on oral health improvement by investigating the EQ-5D index according to the oral prosthesis status of elderly persons aged 65 years or older in Korea using the Seventh Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Methods: In this study, 3,426 elderly persons aged 65 years or older were included to analyze the relationship between the dental prostheses status and EQ-5D index in the collected data. Results: Compared to the "complete denture" in oral prosthesis, EQ in case of no dental prostheses or fixed dental prostheses is comparable to removable prosthetics such as "no dental prostheses," "one fixed bridge," and "two or more fixed bridges." Removable partial denture and complete denture required for the maxillary and mandibular EQ-5D index were significantly higher in "not necessary" than in "complete denture necessary" in all the elderly persons. Conclusion: The condition of the dental prosthesis and the need for a removable partial denture and complete denture for the elderly's EQ-5D index were confirmed, and it was found that the fixed dental prostheses were more effective than the removable dental prostheses. Therefore, oral health education programs for the elderly should be developed to promote dental function and oral health maintenance.

The Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) has been released life-related indexes such as 'Life industrial weather information' and 'Safety weather information' while other countries' meteorological administrations have been made 'Human-biometeorology' and 'Health meteorology' indexes that concern human sensibility effections to diverse criteria. Although human sensibility changes have been studied in psychological research criteria with diverse and innumerous application areas, there are not enough studies that make data mining based validation of sensibility change factors. In this research I made models to estimate sensibility change caused by weather factors such as temperature and humidity, and validated by collecting sensibility data from SNS text crawling and weather data from KMA public dataset. By Logistic Regression, I clarify factors affecting sensibility changes.

Recently, Through the linkage and opening, the fusion of the spatial information, it is necessary for productive ecosystem to provide a variety of information and to increase the civil use. Depending on the economic growth, demand for quality of life and well-being has been on the increase. Spatial information service contents for the public convenience has emerged to solve the problem such as health, safety, welfare and discomfort of daily life This study aims to implement search services for a tailored residence space through the three-dimensional data modeling on cadastral information. To achieve this goal, we established the requirements for deriving a registered object by investigating recent trend with respect to existing cadastral data model and defined property and relationship. Focusing on Songpa-gu, Jamsil station in Seoul, we implemented search services for a tailored residence space for three-dimensional right analysis in conjunction with residential and commercial complex building. As a result, we derived a way to supply 3D cadastre information through open platforms (VWorld) and to represent efficiently, which is able to improve the quality of spatial information service contents for the public convenience as well as to widen utilization of information.

The rapid aging is increasing as the shortage of medical facilities and the resulting of decline in the quality of public health. In order to ease the burden of rising medical expenses, advanced medical institutions are expanding their remote medical care to lower the cost of services. U-healthcare detects the changes in physical and chemical phenomena occurring in the human body and converts them into electrical signals that can be processed and feeds back to the results through analytical and visualization processes to select only the desired information from the measured signals. The service is provided through a process of providing an alarm to a user. However, traditional biometric methods of attaching sensors directly to the body can be annoying and rejected in daily life. Therefore, there is a need for a method of continuously measuring biometric information without causing inconvenience to daily life. In this paper, we propose an IR-UWB-based non-contact and non-responsive respiratory measurement system that can continuously monitor biological information without any inconveniences to daily life.

The purpose of this article is to find out both strategies and methods that Korean libraries could be reborn and recognized as an essential public good for the information poor. To the end, the first discussion is about the Korean society's intrinsic standpoints on social minorities and information poverty. And the second discussion is on how the Korean library community has approached and met with the information poverty issues of social minorities. Special concerns are on analysing the achievements and limitations of Korean library policies for social minorities. Also investigated are the indigenous factors that have impeded the further development of library services for the information poor. And finally this article requests for scholarly efforts to strengthen the theoretical basis of library policies for social minorities, together with strategic suggestions for Korean librarians who wish to renovate their specialized services for social minorities.

Sex offense by medical practitioners has been occurring continuously in Korea leading to not only patients but the general public expressing anxiety and increased distrust in the medical field. The government has been pushing ahead with the legislation or revision of law to increase the penalties on sexual offenders in response to requests for a stricter legal framework to address sex offense cases and has expressed a strong commitment to actively resorting to administrative corrective measures towards sexually offending medical practitioners. Unlike such an overall social atmosphere, the Judiciary that is in charge of applying the law seems not to perceive the seriousness of sex offense cases committed by medical practitioners. A doctor who had sexually assaulted a middle school female student during medical treatment at a pediatric hospital was found innocent by the supreme court, which was a ruling in direct contrast to overall public sentiment. As such, this study seeks to analyze the precedent on cases involving sex offense by medical practitioners with a focus on the above-mentioned case and present implications. The study seeks to dispel distrust in the overall medical field by addressing the gap in legal interpretation towards sex offense committed by medical practitioners and thus provide basic data that can help the general public receive quality medical services in a safer environment.

With rapid growth and fast diffusion of smartphone technologies, many users are deeply concerned about the smart applications and many mobile applications converged with various related technologies are rapidly disseminated. Especially, the convergence technologies like mobile apps that can establish the wireless ad hoc network between smartphone and other peripherals and exchange data are appear and progressed continuously. In this paper, we design and implement the smart app using bluetooth based wireless ad hoc sensor network that can connect smartphone with sensors and exchange data for various smart applications. The proposed smart application in this paper collects data obtained from more than 2 multi-sensors in real time and fulfills the decision making function by storing data at the database and analysing it. The smart application designed and implemented in this paper is the healthcare application that can analyze and evaluate the patient's health condition with sensing data from multi-sensors in real time through bluetooth module.

In order to acquire new information and biological meaning of the signal data by defining the relationships between them, new modeling technique, ontology, has been proposed. The data of bio-signal can be represented as a systematic and logical to manage continuously bio-signal data using ontology. Furthermore, knowledge of which resources are utilized to provide improved service quality in medical information, health services in various fields. However, relevant studies have not been performed actively to compare importance of relationships between bio-signals. Therefore semantic representation of biometric information should be by defining the relationship between bio-signals. In this paper, we have developed bio-signal ontology to use as a model for using domain knowledge. We verified the usefulness of the ontology by using scenarios.
