The purpose of this study is to investigate the residents' neighborship and attitudes for finding influencing factors in an apartment complex. This study is based on a comparative method using a questionnaire, interview and observation. Two neighboring apartments were selected, they have different composition of the apartment complex and are located in Busan. The subjects were 305 wives living in apartments. The major findings are as follows: 1) Matters of common interest and a mutual cooperation were important factors for residents' neighborship. 2) Residents preferred a more opened type composition of the apartment complex for their neighborship. These results could contribute to future study for community development in the apartment complex.

Managing apartments is critical not only to handling the physical deterioration over time, but also to the quality of community life, social environment and ultimately residents' satisfaction with the housing environment. Therefore, this study aims at understanding residents' awareness of apartment management, and finding the relationship between management activities and residents' satisfaction and participation by comparing an apartment with active management and an apartment without it. This study examines 1) management activities of two subject apartment complexes, and 2) how management activities affect residents' participation and satisfaction. Surveys were conducted of the residents, and SPSS statistics package was utilized to analyze the survey data. This study found that management activities of apartment complex have positive influence on residents' participation and satisfaction with their housing environment. The results of this study can be utilized as basic materials to develop effective guidelines and manual from the perspective of environmental management of apartment houses, in order to improve the participation of the residents in the apartment management.

This study proposes the method seeking out the user needs for the home automation systems which are one of the compositions of digital home. The findings are as follows. (1) The designing of digital home should be based on the residents' daily life and the their needs for the future house prior to the digital technology, (2) The IT Apartments recently developed in Busan set up the safety and security system and the automatic ventilation system mostly. (3) The residents are more concerned of the safety and security and the comfortable interior environment than convenience and entertainments. (4) The residents have diverse needs for the home automation systems according to their age, residential experience and occupation.

본 연구는 근린환경에 대한 거주자의 인지도를 파악하고, 현재 거주하고있는 지역의 근린환경에 대한 만족도를 조사하여 앞으로의 주거이동 성향이 어떻게 나타날 것인가를 예측해보는데 그 목적이 있다. 측정도구의 신뢰도계수($Cronbach's\;\alpha$)는 0.865이며, 분석방법은 빈도, 평균, $x^2$ 검증, t-검증, 일원변령분석 요인분석, 피어슨의 상관계수, 중다회귀분석, 다변량판별분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 첫째 '입지성' 속성에 대해 거주자의 인지와 만족이 가장 긍정적이었고 '쾌적성 및 정체감' 에 대해 가정 부정적이었다. 둘째 근린환경 인지도가 높을수록 부인의 교육수준이 높을수록 주거소유권이 자가이고 상가주변지역에 살고 있는 거주자들의 근린환경에 대한 총 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 셋째 거주기간 총 만족도, 주거용도 지역, 주택규모, 소득수준이 주거이동 성향을 판별하는 변인으로 나타났다.

본 연구의 목적은 최근 건설된 노인전용 조합주택으로 입주한 노인가구를 대상으로 거주자 측면에서의 주거환경 평가이며, 아울러 미국 조합주택에 대한 이해를 도모하고자 한다. 설문지를 통해 수집한 자료는 빈도와 백분율 회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였으며, 총 171가구가 본 조사에 참여하였다. 조사대상 가구주의 평균 연령은 76세였으며 교육 수준은 높았고, 가족형태는 부부나 독남가구가 대다수였다. 조사에 참여한 가구들은 저렴한 주택비용, 안전성, 주택유지 및 관리의 용이성, 주거 내의 접근용이성을 현 주거환경의 선택 동기로 손꼽았다. 현 주거환경의 평가를 물리적 환경, 사회적 환경, 그리고 거주자 참여방식의 관리에 대한 만족도로 크게 3가지로 나뒀으며, 물리적 환경 관련 요소가 주거환경 평가와 관련한 만족도에 가장 중요하게 작용하였다. 본 연구결과는 장기적인 주택관련 비용의 저렴화와 노인의 독립성을 위한 지원성이 강화된 물리적인 환경의 구축이 무엇보다 주거환경 평가시 중요하므로, 향후 노인전용 대안주택 계획시 이점에 대해 고려되어야 할 것이다.

최근 도시화가 급격히 진행되면서 도심 공간의 효율적인 이용을 위하여 지하공간의 개발이 새로운 대안으로 주목 받고 있다. 지하공간은 일반적으로 건축 구조상 자연채광의 유입이 불가능한 구조로서 지하 거주자의 심리적, 환경적 문제를 초래하므로 이의 활성화를 위해서는 공간의 질적 제고가 선행되어야 한다. 빛과 조명은 공간의 질을 결정하는 중요한 요소로서 거주자를 위해 건강하고 편안한 환경을 제공하기 위해서는 거주자의 생체리듬과 부합하는 자연광과 유사한 광 환경(색온도, 조도) 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 본 논문은 지하공간을 대상으로 인공조명의 광 환경을 시간의 흐름에 따라 변화하는 자연의 빛과 유사하게 서비스하기 위한 LED제어시스템을 개발한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of apartment residents' safety education satisfaction and the application of fire protection plans on fire safety awareness. The analysis results are as follows. First, the low levels of satisfaction with safety education content had a negative effect on anxiety about fire safety. This means that apartment residents' low levels of interest or participation in education affected their safety awareness, which prevented them from securing safety from fire. It is necessary for control staff to have a positive impact on their educational satisfaction via the learning support information system, among others, in order to create a satisfying education and safety culture. Second, competence in the execution of firefighting plans had a positive effect on fire safety awareness. These results indicate that apartment residents do not have the opportunity to access the education and training necessary for safety, nor the legal responsibility to complete mandatory safety education, which leads to their lack of safety awareness. Therefore, the control staff need to raise awareness of fire safety and the importance of participating in safety education among apartment residents by strengthening and activating the execution of firefighting plans in order to ensure safe living. Third, the competency of the firefighting plans moderated the effects of apartment residents' educational satisfaction on their awareness of fire safety.

This study was conducted to measure the uranium concentrations in urine of some members of the general public in Busan and Daejeon and to assess the annual committed effective doses from uranium analysis of daily excretion. As a result, the ranges of total uranium concentrations in the urine for the residents in Busan and Daejeon were found to be 0.556 - 1.53 $mBq\;L^{-1}$ and 2.18 - 4.55 $mBq\;L^{-1}$, respectively. It was noted that the uranium concentrations for the residents in Daejeon were observed to be higher than those for the residents in Busan. This result assumes that the uranium concentrations in the urines for the residents in Daejeon are probably related to the high uranium concentrations contained in the drinking water of Daejeon city. The bedrock of Daejeon, known as granitic rocks formed in the Jurassic period of the Mesozoic Era, contains high uranium contents. Also, results showed no significant correlation with age or sex. The ranges of annual committed effective doses from ingestion of uranium for the residents in Busan and Daejeon were calculated to be 0.472-1.41 ${\mu}Sv$ and 1.99-4.15 ${\mu}Sv$, respectively.

본 연구에서는, 현 시점에서의 주거소음환경 수준 고찰을 위한 설문조사를 실시하고, 유사한 방법으로 실시한 1986년의 설문조사 결과와 비교 고찰함으로써, 1980년대 중반 이후 거주자들의 소음환경에 대한 의식변화 추이와 소음환경 개선상황 및 문제점을 파악해 보고자 한다.
