  • This paper aims to simulate by FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator) the distributions of temperature and smoke on fires in accommodations on boards. The paper focuses on analysis of temperature at fire occurrence and soot density. The purpose of this study is to predict the possibility of safe escape and efficient fire extinguishing method using fire simulation results.

  • 본 연구는 여객선의 미분무소화설비의 성능평가에 사용되는 표준 가연물(fire source)을 기술하고자 한다. 대표적인 가연물로 매트리스, 매트리스를 감싸는 면 소재의 천 그리고 시험장 벽면을 구성하는 합판이 있다. 각각의 소재에 대해 선박 여객선 거주구역의 성능 기준이 요구하는 사양을 검토하고 국내에서 생산되는 가연물에 대해 성능시험을 통한 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.

Tackling Proximity Effects in Nonmarket Valuation Approaches : An Example of Contingent Valuation Method (비시장재화의 가치평가에 있어서 근접효과(Proximity Effects)의 검증에 관한 연구 : 조건부가치평가법을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of the research is to tackle proximity effects (PEs) when nonmarket valuation method CVM is applied to environmental goods such as tidal flats. 1,000 households are surveyed in the ratio of national household for the research. The sample are reclassified into five areas by 30-minute distance. Log-linear are used to analysis PEs in the research. On conclusion log-linear model regarding income effects proves that PEs are apparently represented in NMVMs(${\theta}_1$ >0. ${\theta}_2$ >0 and $dum1{\neq}0$, $dum2{\neq}0$, $dum3{\neq}0$, $dum4{\neq}0$) as a result of a 5 per cent significant level of t -test and F-test, finally rejecting the null hypothesis. In addition, WTP of area I respondents shows 26 per cent more then that of area V respondents, which is from \87,969 to \64,866 in the open-ended format. Finally, the research proves that the PEs in CVM are evidently represented with the econometric model, hence the PEs have to be embedded into the questionnaire of non-market valuation methods with the environmental goods to reduce the underestimation and improve the estimation accuracy.

  • In case of a fire in urban large structures such as super high-rise buildings, evacuation guidance must be provided to the occupants in order to minimize human deaths and injuries. Therefore, it is essential to provide emergency evacuation guidance when a major fire occurs. In order to effectively support evacuation guidance, it is important to identify major items such as fire location, occupant position, escape route, etc. Also, it is important to quickly identify evacuation areas where residents can safely evacuate from a fire. In this paper, we analyze the CCTV video and propose a method of measuring visibility of the evacuation zone from the smoke caused by the fire in order to determine the safety of evacuation area. To do this, we first extract the background video from the smoke video to measure the visibility of the specific area due to smoke. After generating an edge-extracted image for the extracted background video, the degree of visibility is measured by calculating the change in the edge strength due to smoke.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 당사에서 제작한 멤브레인형 $130,000M^3$$135,000M^3$ LNG 운반선의 진동특성을 파악하고, 거주구역의 진동수준을 예측하기 위함이다. 우선 공진 회피의 관점에서 최적의 프로펠러를 선택하기 위해 간단한 계산을 수행한 후, 주변 해수를 고려한 선박 전체를 모델링하여 3차원 유한요소해석을 수행한다. 이 계산은 보다 정확한 고유진동수를 결정하고, 프로펠러 기진의 주파수 범위에서 관련된 모드 형상을 결정하며, 선박 거주구에서 기대되는 진동수준은 잘 예측할 수 있다. 다음으로 선박이 진수되고 전체구조가 조립된 후 안벽에서 불평형 가진기를 이용해 가진기테스트를 실시하고, 해상시운전 중에도 동일한 방법으로 테스트를 실시한다. 시험은 고유진동수의 항으로 선박의 실제진동응답과 계산결과와의 좋은 비교를 가능하게 한다. 추가적으로 실제 엔진을 구동해 RPM을 최저에서 최고까지 천천히 변경하면서 실제 운항 중 진동응답을 계측함으로서 고유진동수를 예측하여 해석결과 및 가진기 시험결과와 비교한다.

The Type of Dwelling Sites of Ancient People and Excavation-Recommended Spot in the Viewpoint of Geomorphology - 'Ohnju Region Urban Development Business Site' as an Example - (지형학적 관점에서 본 고대인의 생활터전 유형 및 시굴 추천지점 -충남 아산 '온주지구 도시개발 사업부지'를 사례로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to assume the particular area of hills where it is highly possible for historical site to be buried in the viewpoint of geomorphology and based on this to suggest excavation-recommended area. Namely, this writer is to understand the dwelling site type of ancient people who had resided there at that time for the object of 'Ohnju region urban development business site' (referred as investigation area hereinafter) and considering the characteristics of micro-landform of hills which are distributed in investigation area and is to recommend the area where it is highly possible for historical site to be buried. The result of analysis is like the following. (1) Dwelling site types of ancient people who might have resided in the whole area of investigation region are discovered to be largely 'low hills+wetland' of Type-I and 'alluvial fan(or river terrace+wetland' of Type-II. (2) In investigation area if the area which has high possibility of distribution of historical site namely, excavation-recommended area is looked as based on micro-landform unit of hills, they are Crest slope and Crest flat. Individual area ratios which Crest slope and Crest flat occupies in investigation area are 12.9% and 10.2% respectively and the rankings are 3 and 6 each. And excavation-recommended areas in valley plain(or bottomland) of investigation area are in the vicinity of 'distal end' or 'buried distal end'of small scale alluvial fan.

  • 서울은 인구 1000만이 넘는 세계적인 대도시로 발전하였다. 1970년대 이후로 급속적인 경제발전과 더불어 서울의 도시화는 급속히 이루어졌으며 이에 따른 인구집중 역시 빠른 속도로 진행되었다. 본 연구에서는 서울과 그 주변 도시를 대상으로 인구자료와 행정구역도 그리고 Landsat 위성영상을 사용하여 인구밀도의 변화에 따른 도시의 성장형태를 분석하여 도시의 관리와 발전계획을 위한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다. 도시성장 분석을 위한 기존의 연구방법은 행정구역에 따른 인구밀도를 통해 수행되었으나 이는 행정구역 내에 일률적인 인구데이터의 분배로 실제 경우와 다른 해석이 가능할 수 있는 오류를 포함하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실질적인 대부분의 인구가 도시지역에 거주한다는 가정 하에 1985년부터 2000년까지의 5년 간격의 Landsat 위성영상을 사용하여 도시지역을 추출하고 이를 기초로 행정구역 내에 포함되어 있는 도시지역에만 인구를 배분하는 새로운 방식으로 인구밀도의 변화 추이를 나타내었다. 연구결과 기존에 방법에서는 발견되지 않았던 서울의 확장형태를 알 수 있었으며 또한 인구데이터의 경계현상을 Pycnophylactic 보간 알고리즘을 통해 제거함으로써 보다 실질적인 도시지역 인구밀도의 변화를 알 수 있었다. 이러한 인구밀도의 변화는 도시의 성장과 밀접한 상관관계를 갖기 때문에 이를 통해 서울 및 주변도시의 성장 형태를 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 4장의 서울-경기 도시지역의 인구밀도 변화도를 제작하여 GIS를 이용한 관련 분야의 활용에 도움이 되고자 한다.

  • The vibration generated on shipboard is very important because it greatly affects on the comfortable mind of passenger and working conditions of crews. Shipboard vibration is closely concerned with the development of propulsion method and the type of main engine to decide speed of ship. To make the propulsion power, the main engine of ship have continuous explosion process in engine room, so the shipboard vibration is generated. The shipboard vibration causes the physiological and psychological damages to human body. In the case of the human body exposed to the shipboard vibration, the evaluation of human exposure to whole-body vibration is prescribed in ISO 6954 : 2000(E). In this paper, to evaluate the shipboard working environment, two kinds of vibration levels onboard ship were measured and compared with one another between engine rooms, engine control rooms and wheel house by the regulation of ISO 6954 : 2000(E).

  • In this study, distributed the ship's Centralized Air Conditioning System the way an individual to replace the air conditioning system by using Air-cooled air conditioner. Research results, Individually separated air conditioning system complement the heat source control and thermal efficiency problems and improves the efficiency of the device was confirmed. In addition, under the same conditions refrigeration capacity and coefficient of performance of the device, an average of about 3 %, 23 ~ 26 %, higher, Chilled Water Plants Compressor power consumption is about 12 % lower. Also while heating under the same conditions, power consumption is about 33.5 % lower. Therefore Individually Separated Air Conditioning System greatly contributed to the improved performance of the device and living spaces for comfortable temperature and humidity control as well as heating source could be obtained.
