The effect of Micro and Macro Country Image on Brand Evaluation -Focus on the effect of brand familiarity and openness- (국가이미지가 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -브랜드 친숙도와 개방성의 조절효과를 중심으로-)

  • This study verified the moderating effect of brand familiarity and openness in the relationship between micro and macro-national image in Chinese market and brand attitude. The research methods used in this study based on previous studies, a research model was established, related research hypotheses were set up, and Chinese consumers were selected as survey subjects to conduct surveys and data collection, and the suitability test and research hypothesis of the model were verified. As a result of this study, Micro and macro-national image had a positive effect on brand attitude, brand familiarity and openness had no moderating effect on micro-national image, and macro-national image had a moderating effect on macro-economic image. The results of this study provide implications for companies in Korea, the United States, and Japan, which have close relations with China in the Chinese market, to utilize various business strategies.

  • In theoretical term, cultural/institutional approach, the peculiarly of the later comers, such as Hong Kong, Korea, Twain, and the converging influence from Post-modernism underlie this paper. The first approach is influential in understanding the survival of many traditional values within most of the Hong Kong firms. The later comer one can be used to explain the fact that later comer enjoyed various synergy effects when their oriental values are combined with new practices. The last one is also quite useful for the explanation of why most modern firms exposed to a severe international competition adopted human resource management But problem is that these are subjected to severe criticism because of their downgrading nature against employees.

A Study on Changes in Media Report of Police Assigned for Special Guard Using Big Kinds

  • The objective of this study is to present the academic implications and developmental direction of the police assigned for special guard system through big data analysis on the objective and macroscopic viewpoint of the media. As research method, this study conducted the analysis on 'police assigned for special guard' and the analysis of related words that would visualize the keywords highly related to keyword trend and news. Also, after dividing the period into the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, the number of relevant articles in each period was drawn for understanding the flow. In the results of this study, the perception of media report of police assigned for special guard was about the recruitment of police assigned for special guard, and relevant events/accidents, which showed the coexistence of positive interest in the recruitment of police assigned for special guard and negative image of events/accidents related to police assigned for special guard. As a result, however, the necessity and demand for police assigned for special guard are increasing. Thus, the police assigned for special guard should be engaged in work after carefully thinking of its role in charge of ethical responsibility and safety as an axis for maintaining the national safety and social order.
