Inharmonicity가 피아노의 음색에 미치는 영향을 가능한 한 객관적으로 평가하기 위해 본 연구 에서는 inharmonicity는 다르면서 음색에 영향을 미치는 다른 모든 요소들은 같게 합성된 여러 샘플들을 이용해 청취평가를 시행하는 방법을 사용한다. 합성된 피아노 음의 부분음들이 가지는 시간 영역 엔벌로프는 실제 녹음된 피아노 음에서 추출되었으며 인위적으로 조절되는 inharmonicity 의 크기 역시 실제 녹음된 피아노 음에서 얻은 데이터에 근거하였다. 청취평가는 피아노의 음색을 표현한다고 생각되는 적절한 형용사들의 쌍으로 만들어진 질문들로 이루어졌으며 평가를 반복해가며 보다 객관성을 높이기 위한 방법들을 시도하였다. 이러한 과정에서 얻은 결과들을 통해 그 동안 막연히 이해되어오던 inharmonicity와 음색의 관계를 보다 세밀하고 객관적으로 분석할 수 있다.

음성인식 및 합성 시스템으로 대표되는 음성입출력장치의 개발 및 실용화에 따라 이들의 성능을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 방법이 중요하게 되었다. 그러나 국내에서의 이분야에 대한 체계적인 연구는 맞지 않다. 본고에서는 이와 관련한 지금까지의 국내외 연구예들을 검토하고 우리 실정에 맞는 평가법 작성을 위한 방법을 모색하고자 한다. 음성입출력장치의 객관적인 평가방법이 확립되면 연구 개발자는 여러방식의 우열을 객관적으로 파악할 수 있고 신뢰성있는 시스템을 효율적으로 개발할 수 있으며 관련제품의 사용자입장에서는 제품간의 성능비교가 가능하게 될 것이다.

가상사설망(VPN)시스템은 기존 사설망의 고비용과 비효율적인 관리를 해결하기 위해 인터넷망을 마치 전용선으로 사설망을 구출한 것처럼 개발한다. 본 연구에서는 ISO/IEC 9126과 ISO/IEC 25000를 기반을 둔 객관성 있는 품질평가 방법을 구축하고 가상사설망시스템 제품 고유의 보안특성을 접목한 품질평가 체계를 구축함으로써 객관성과 타당성을 갖춘 평가모델을 개발하였다.

Cognitive-linguistic changes that normally accompany aging are often simply an annoyance, but in some instances they may herald a more perilous course of decline to a state of neurological disease. This study investigated the correlation between subjective and objective tests on cognitive-linguistic abilities in older adults and the predictors of objective performances. Healthy elders over 65 years of age (n=63) and their informants (n=63) completed the subjective and objective cognitive-linguistic tests (ISCOLE and CAPTBI) from July of 2015 to February of 2016. The main findings were as follows: performance on the self-report test was not significantly different from that on the informant-report test. Additionally, eight domains in older adults group and 15 domains in the informants group were significantly associated with performance on the objective test. Finally, language on the informant-report test was a predictor of several abilities including problem solving and memory on the informant-report test predicted executive function and language. The present study demonstrates that two groups have significant differences in correlation between subjective and objective tests on the cognitive-linguistic abilities, and there are more relevant domains in rating by informants. These findings have implications for the use of cognitive-linguistic evaluation and preventive intervention in clinical settings.

In this paper, we propose a new objective speech quality measure using noise masking threshold for speech quality assessment of mobile telephone network environments, and verify the effectiveness of the proposed method through the experiments. For such a purpose, well known objective speech quality measures such as BSD and PSQM are first evaluated for digital mobile telephone network environments. However, these conventional methods does not have good performance under mobile networks environments compared to literary results. To be mote effective objective speech quality measure under mobile telephone environments, the proposed method employs human psychoacoustic masking effect. The DMOS, instead of MOS, is used as a subjective speech quality measure for performance evaluation. The performance comparison are carried out with speech data collected from digital mobile telephone environments. As results, the proposed measure have and average 4% higher performance, in terms of correlation, than existing objective speech quality measures such as BSD and PSQM.

In this paper, we propose a new objective quality assessment method considering the human visual perception characteristics. A subjective quality assessment is obtained by the response of the receptive field in the primary visual cortex and a human's eye can't focus on all of the visual range in a moment. Take advantage of two facts above, we apply Gabor wavelet transform which is well fit the receptive field in the cortex, to divided constant sized subblocks. Then a local distortion of the subblocks and a global distortion for the entire image are calculated in order. The proposed method has been evaluated using video test sequences provided by the Video Quality Experts Group (VQEG). The experimental results show that good correlation with human perception is obtained using the proposed metric, which is what we called GPSNR.

In this paper, we propose an objective quality feature which is based on the human auditory system to measure vacuum cleaner noise. It is observed that some frequency bands are more sensitive to the human auditory system. Therefore, we divided the audible frequency range of vacuum cleaner noise into a number of frequency bands and the average energy of these bands was calculated. Among a number of average energies, an average energy of a frequency band was selected as the proposed feature. In order to test the performance of the proposed feature, fourteen vacuum cleaners were chosen and the noise was recorded in an anechoic-chamber. Then we performed subjective tests to obtain subjective scores of the noise data using the PCM (paired comparison method) and ACR (absolute category rating) subjective methods. The proposed objective quality feature shows high correlation with the subjective scores.

첨단생신시스템개발사업과 같은 국가전략으로 추진되는 개발사업에 있어서는, 핵심제품 및 신기술의 연구와 함께 개발성과에 대해 객관적이고 기술적인 평가시스템이 마련되어져야 한다. 본 연구는 이러한 평가시스템을 개발하기 위한 것으로써, 먼저 첨단생산시스템개발사업의 목표달성도를 주요하게 고려하여 평가대상을 시스템, 단위기계, 요소기술, S/W로 분류하고, 개발성과에 대한 평가항목으로 기술성, 신뢰성, 안전성, 경제성을 선정, 내용면에서 평가의 객관성을 보증하고자 하였다. 또한 형식적인 면에서는, 평가의 객관성 및 전문성을 보증하기 위하여 평가형태를 개발수행기업에 의한 자체평과와 위원회에 의한 위원회평가로 나누었으며, 위원회평가를 위해서는 평가자를 기술적으로 지원 할 수 있도록 개발사업에 대한 평가지원 DB시스템을 개발도록 하였다.

본 논문에서는 국내 디지털 저작권 보호 업체 혹은 대학 및 연구소에서 개발하고 생산하는 포렌식마크 기술의 품질을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 평가절차와 평가지표를 정량적으로 제시하였다. 포렌식마크 기술을 객관적으로 평가하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 우선, 구매자 정보(포렌식마크라)가 삽입된 테스트 영상의 공격 항목과 수준을 정하고, 포렌식마크 정보의 추출 성능을 평가하기 위한 평가절차로서 평가항목, 평가기준, 평가절차를, 그리고 인증을 위해서는 포렌식마크 기술의 신뢰성에 대한 통계정보를 포함하는 인증서를 생성하기 위한 인증절차를 포함하였다. 이러한 포렌식마크 기술의 평가 및 인증 지침은 기술 개발자에게는 자신들이 개발한 포렌식마크 기술에 대한 객관적인 평가결과를 미리 알아볼 수 있어서 기술의 상품성을 점검할 수 있고 소비자 입장에서는 객관적이고 보편타당성 있는 평가 결과에 대한 신뢰를 가질 수 있다. 평가자 입장에서는 표준 평가를 통해 객관적이고 정량적인 평가 결과를 얻을 수 있어서 상대적인 우열을 가리기가 용이해지는 편리성을 얻을 수 있다. 이를 통하여 포렌식마크 기술의 발전과 디지털 저작권 보호 시장의 활성화에 일조를 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구는 영국의병원 급식체계를 분석하고 그에 대한 객관적, 주관적 평가를 시도하는데 목표를 두고 있다. 영국 보건성의 지원하에 12개 병원에 대한 급식체계를 비용편익 분석과 생산성 측정이라는 객관적 기법, 그리고 Indepth-interview 및 Self-Administered Qestionnaire 라는 주관적 방법을 통해 분석하였다. 이 중 본논문에서 다루는 것은 환자 만족도와 이에 영향을 미치는 병원 급식 체계의 결정요인 부분이다. 제1단계 연구에서는 급식대상 환자들에 대한 표본추출을 통해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 환자의 인구통계학적, 정서적 변수가 환자의 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요소로 나타났다. 각병원에 대한 객관적 자료를 이용한 2차 희귀분석 결과 인적자원요소와 시스템요소로 대별된 독립변수 요인군종 어느 변수도 0.05(p) 수준에서 유의미하지 않은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 환자의 만족도는 병원 급식체계에 기준한 객관적인 결정요인에 의해 설명되어지지 않고 오히려 환자 자신의 변수에 의해 결정되어짐을 알수 있다. 본논문이 시사하는 바는 급식체계에 대한 평가에 있어 이론적 모형과 변수의 선정이 수정될 필요가 있다는 점과 방법론적 차원에서 평가대상 급식시스템의 유형상 특성이 고려되어야한다는 점이다.
