  • In this research, the technique and tool for the adaptation of components are suggested. While reusing a component or assembling components, component adaptation should be required since the interfaces of component to be assembled might not be exactly matched. Sometimes, other attributes are needed for new business features or even the same business concept. So, in reusing or assembling a component, component adaptation techniques are essentially required. In this research, we proposed the following Component Adaptation by Binary Component Adaptation Techniques : and Component Adaptation by Adaptation Components. Also, we constructed a component adaptation supporting tool. As the results, we can adapt the existing components without source code and can reuse the existing components when the components do not meet new requirements or can not be directly connected with other components to be integrated.

  • Due to the supply of standard plans disregarding the occupant's of apartment houses preference, the renovation of balcony has frequently been increasingly performed. As a result, the renovation has caused a loss of national economy and many problems. Existing research studies related to the balcony renovation discussed the implement plans on rate and types o( renovation. However the loss cost by balcony renovation has never been researched. This study, therefore, estimated renovation cost by surveys and analyzed the causes of renovation with regard to the selling methods of companies, awareness of occupants and re131e0 regulations.'rhis study proposes a guideline for the rebuilding the balconies of apartment houses to minimize a loss of national economy.

Study on the Development of the Customized Ready-Made Hull Forms according to the Retrofit (선박개조에 따른 고객 맞춤형 기성품 선형 개발)

  • The primary objective of the current work was to develop a standardized retrofit hull form capable of saving energy based on existing vessels. The bow shape of existing vessels was investigated, giving consideration to design draft and speed. Resistance performances were assessed for existing vessels according to operating conditions. Commercial CFD codes and model test materials were used for assessment of effective power. Three retrofit hull forms with minimum resistance were selected given real operating conditions. These vessels were named after customized ready-made hull forms to enable ship owners to make easier choices. The effective power of each vessel was estimated under real operating conditions. Subjects were operated with the lowest draft, and performance for retrofit No. 3 showed an 11-16% improvement in effective power at low speed ranges of 16-18 knots compared to existing vessels. When operated with a middle draft, performance for retrofit No. 3 showed a 6-11% improvement in effective power at low speed ranges compared to existing vessels. When operated with the highest draft, performance for all vessels showed little difference in effective power.

  • The system needs to be modified to improve the performance of the aircraft in operation or to satisfy the requirements of related laws. Appropriate standards are required for the technical skills for remodeling the aircraft system, design verification for airworthiness of the aircraft, and supplemental type certification (STC) certification procedures for type certification. This study analyzes the current status and demand of domestic aircraft remodeling, examines the current supplementary type certification procedure, and diagnoses the problem. In addition, as a result of researching measures to improve remodeling technology and certification capabilities to extend the life of the aircraft, improvements in the education system were derived to improve the domestic additional type certification process, such as approval of remodeling agencies and appointment of qualifications for each professional technician.

  • In the rapidly aging society, the number of wheelchair users is increasing steadily. On the other hand, it is almost impossible for a disabled person using a wheelchair to use express buses. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an express bus that can secure the rights of wheelchair users. For these special types of express buses, it is required to develop a special entrance and lift system. The development of a wheelchair entrance system for the express buses requires design modification, retrofit, and reinforcement of the bus frame. This study evaluated the structural integrity of an entrance system for wheelchair users using a finite element method. Torsional stiffness and modal analysis were performed through structural analysis. Through sensitivity analysis, optimization was performed to reduce the weight of the frame. These results on the wheelchair entrance system are expected to be utilized in the vehicle modification and welfare industries.

  • 개조개(Saxidomu purpuratus)는 우리나라 전 연안에 분포하고 있으며, 연평균 생산량은 약 약 7,300들 정도가 어획되어지며, 경남 남해안 생산량이 전국 생산량의 약 73% 이상을 차지하고 있다. 본 종은 2001년부터 TAC 실시 대상 어종으로 선정되어 자원이 관리되어지는 실정에 있다. 따라서 개조개 자원을 보다 더 합리적으로 관리하기 위해서는 이 자원에 대한 자원생물학적 특성치인 자연사망계수, 어획사망계수, 생잔율, 어획개시연령 정확한 정보가 있어야만 효율적이고 종합적인 관리 발안을 수립할 수 있을 것이다.
