This study attempts to investigate the parent's perception types of online game and their related factors. The data was collected through the online survey from 485 parents. As a result, the parent's perception types of online game were classified as 4 types. Each perception type shows differences in an attitude and reaction to online game and gender. Next, this study employed a multinomial logistic regression model to examine variables influencing the parent's perception types of online game. The result shows that parent's gender, controlling parental style, and problematic communication have statistically significant effects on the parent's perception types of online game. This study holds its significance in considering the game use of children in the context of parent-child relationship by exploring the parent's perception of online game and its influencing variables.

The recent domestic violence research has emphasized an integrated approach to wife battering and child abuse to overcome separated understanding and problem-solving alternatives of the two phenomena in the past. This phenomenological study is designed to understand struggles and dilemmas of battered women and their children related to their surviving and coping with domestic violence in a mother-child relationship. In-depth interviews were conducted with ten battered women who have children and reside in shelters in Seoul and Anyang, and were analyzed by Atlas.ti(a qualitative software program) to maximize the efficiency of data analysis. Domestic violence can be transformed into and integrated with child abuse anytime, so battered women and their children share their crises and challenges related to motherliness and filial love. However, the mutual, existential meaning embedded in the mother-child relationship can be the most important sources to mobilize their life energy and resilience in their copping efforts. The social work interventions for battered women and their children should be integrated with a premise of deep understanding of the complex realities of domestic violence victims.

This study aimed to examine the mediate effects of game addiction on the delinquency among school adolescents. In order to achieve the research purpose, secondary data was used which is the data by 8,516 people researched for 'A study on mental health improvement policy for children and adolescents II' among NYPI cross-sectional analysis provided by Korean Children Adolescents Data Archive and the collected data was analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The major findings were as follows. First, the better relationship with family and teachers led to lower level of game addiction and delinquency. However, in terms of relationship with friends, better relationship led to lower level of game addiction but higher level of delinquency. Second, as a result of verifying mediator effect of game addiction by decomposing the effects of relationship with family, teachers and friends on delinquency, they all demonstrated negative mediator effect. Based on the results I discussed social welfare intervention methods for game addiction in order to understand and prevent school adolescents' delinquency.

This paper was to investigate the effects of life satisfaction expectancy, mindfulness and social support of marital middle-aged women on depression. This survey was conducted from March, 2009 to June, 2009 and 182 responses from the survey were used for the analysis. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, psarson correlation and Multiple Regression. The research findings could be summarized as the followings. First, the mean score of life satisfaction expectancy, mindfulness, social support of the marital middle-aged women were higher, while, the mean score of depression are lower relatively. Second, among the main factors, life satisfaction expectancy, social support were the significant predictor to explain depression of marital middle-aged women. Third, the depression of marital middle-aged women was not significantly influenced by mindfulness.

This study analyzed the policy of culture welfare in libraries for the information alienated groups. This study suggested several improvements as a conclusion. Research analyzed organizational tasks and policies for Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Planning Group for Library and Information Policy and the policies for libraries. First, library service for alienated class was centered in short term period projects. Second, it is hardware oriented such as building small libraries, places for disabled person, multi-cultural libraries. Due to the decentralization of policies for the groups with alienated information, and lack of public supportive policies for private library for the disabled, developing cooperative system is difficult. Third, we revealed that policies for quantitative production of alternative material were achieved. So, this study suggested professional policy in integrative cooperation in accordance with each domain and creation of a separate welfare library policy department and its activity.

Background: Although collaboration for community health is emphasized, the concept and process of collaboration are rather unclear. International research has classified the types of collaboration and focused on the factors influencing successful collaboration. Greater attention is needed for collaboration practice and research domestically. Findings: By the level of intensity, the types of collaboration range from simpler networking to more formal and sophisticated collaboration. A 4-stage collaboration development consists of formation, implementation, maintenance, and institutionalization stages. Influential factors for collaboration development include: shared goals; operational structure and process; sufficient resources; member and leadership characteristics; environment and climate for collaboration; and information exchange and communication. Discussion: Most of collaboration research so far has dealt with partnerships and coalition building with community-based organizations, and much attention is given to private-public partnership for health. Contextual understanding and collaborative environment are the foremost tasks for us to enhance collaboration for community health in our centralized public health system.

The purpose of research is to investigate mediating effect of stress management on influence over post traumatic stress disorder with traumatic case experience. In order to investigate, police officers from 4 police stations in Jeju were selected as subjects, 297 police officers. Data processing analysis of the research was verified by going through Baron & Kenny's regression analysis in 4 phases and Sobel Test was done to verify significance level on mediation effect. Through the research by confirming the manifestation route of post traumatic stress disorder symptom after traumatic case experience, assisted in setting up of appropriate post traumatic stress disorder intervention program and the purpose of research is to ultimately help police officers to break free from post traumatic stress and establish positive and dynamic work environment.

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between multi-cultural family husbands' stress related to their wife and their psychological abuse based on the Stress theory of Lazarus et al. Data from 271 subjects that answered to all questions regarding the subjects' social demographic characteristics, and the husbands' stress related to their wife and their psychological abuse of their wife in statistical analyses. To analyze the data, a study model was set using multi-cultural family husbands' stress related to their wife as an independent variable and their psychological abuse of their wife as a dependent variable and the goodness-of-fit of the model for the data and the relationship between the variables were reviewed using a structural equation model. According to the results, the goodness-of-fit index of the model satisfied the statistical acceptable standard with CFI=0.909 and RMSEA=0.057. The relationship between the variables indicated that multi-cultural family husbands' stress related to their wife had significant effects on their psychological abuse of their wife. This result indicates the necessity of intervention for management of the husbands' stress in order to prevent multi-cultural family husbands' psychological abuse of their wife.

Cracks in concrete structures should be measured to periodically assess potential problems in durability and serviceability. Conventional crack measurement systems depend on visual inspections and manual measurements of the crack features such as width, length, and direction using microscope and crack gage. However, conventional methods take long time as well as manpower, and lack quantitative objectivity resulted by inspectors. In this study, an evaluation technique for concrete surface cracks is developed using image processing and artificial neural network. Developed technique consists of three major parts: (1) crack detection (2) crack analysis and (3) pattern recognition. To examine validity of the technique developed in this study, crack analyzing tests were performed on the images obtained from various types of concrete surface cracks. The test results revealed that the system is highly effective in automatically analyzing concrete surface cracks in terms of features and patterns of cracks.

The objectives of this research are to examine the relationships among designers' characteristics, mutual communication, conflicts between CI designer and client, to test the impacts of conflicts and four type of resolution strategies on the performance of CI development, and to recommend proper strategies for successful CI process and output management. The survey results show as follows. First, CI designers' confidentiality on clients' internal information and creative designing ability were found to affect mutual communication between them. Second, proper communication was found to lessen the conflict level which in turn yielded the positive performance of CI development, especially for the clients' side. Third, it is suggested that the conflict level be first reduced and conflict resolution strategies be applied depending upon the conflict level and related party of designer or client position, respectively.
