PC의 개인정보보호법 대응 방안

  • 최근 해킹 및 개인정보 유출로 인한 관공서 개인정보 취급에 대한 사회적 불신감 팽배, 신뢰도 저하 문제가 발생하고 있다. 개인정보보호법, 정보통신망법의 강화에도 불구하고, 업무에 활용된 명부 등이 저장된 위치를 기억하지 못하여 그대로 방치되고 있으며, 자료공유시스템 등 웹사이트를 통해 열람(접근)된 개인정보파일이 개인 PC내 임시파일로 PC의 하드디스크에 저장되어 있다. 개인정보보호법은 2011년 3월 29일 공포되었고, 9월 30일부터 전면 실시되었다. 본 논문에서는 PC의 개인정보를 검색하고 검색된 파일을 암호화, 파일숨김을 하여 파일을 안전하게 보관하게 하며, 사용기간이 지난 파일의 경우 완전삭제를 하여 PC에서 개인정보보호법에 대응 방안을 제시한다.

  • This paper describes a location privacy control system. Also, we propose a model of location privacy control for national usage and system. This research is applicable to location privacy protection in commercial location-based services in wireless telecommunications, T-Money transtoration card system, GIS platform and provide system of variety service.

  • LBS는 이동통신망이나 위성신호등을 이용하여 Mobile 단말의 위치를 측정하고, 측정한 위치와 관련된 다양한 정보 서비스를 제공하기 위한 기술이다. 그러나 사용자의 프라이버시(Privacy) 문제나 접근제어(Access Control)같은 인증(Authentication)문제가 중요한 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 LBS에 대한 전반적인 사항을 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고, LBS Privacy 문제점을 보호할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 최종적으로 제안된 모델은 차세대 LBS 시스템의 개인정보 및 Privacy 보호를 위한 기술적인 대안을 제시하였으며, 차세대 이동통신의 기반 기술이 될 것으로 기대한다.

Protection of Location Privacy for Spatio-Temporal Query Processing Using R-Trees (R-트리를 활용한 시공간 질의 처리의 위치 개인정보 보호 기법)

  • The prevailing infrastructure of ubiquitous computing paradigm on the one hand making significant development for integrating technology in the daily life but on the other hand raising concerns for privacy and confidentiality. This research presents a new privacy-preserving spatio-temporal query processing technique, in which location based services (LBS) can be serviced without revealing specific locations of private users. Existing location cloaking techniques are based on a grid-based structures such as a Quad-tree and a multi-layered grid. Grid-based approaches can suffer a deterioration of the quality in query results since they are based on pre-defined size of grids which cannot be adapted for variations of data distributions. Instead of using a grid, we propose a location-cloaking algorithm which uses the R-tree, a widely adopted spatio-temporal index structure. The proposed algorithm uses the MBRs of leaf nodes as the cloaked locations of users, since each leaf node guarantees having not less than a certain number of objects. Experimental results show the superiority of the proposed method.

Privacy Preserving Top-k Location-Based Service with Fully Homomorphic Encryption (완전동형암호기반 프라이버시 보호 Top-k 위치정보서비스)

  • We propose a privacy-preserving location-based service (LBS) which supports top-k search service. The previous schemes hurt the privacy of either the user and the location of the objects because they are sent to the LBS server in a plaintext form. In the proposed method, by encrypting them with the fully-homomorphic encryption, we achieved the top-k search is possible while the information on them is not given to the LBS server. We performed a simulation on the proposed scheme with 16 locations where k is 3. The required time is 270 hours in a conventional desktop machine, which seems infeasible to be used in practice. However, as the progress of the hardware, the performance will be improved.

Direction Presentation of Design on Privacy Preserving Mechanism for Location-Sharing Based Services (위치공유기반 서비스의 프라이버시 보호 방안의 설계 방향 제시)

  • Location-sharing based service (LSBS) refers to a service that users share their location information with other users with whom friendship. At this time, the location information is shared through service provider, and then their position information is exposed to the service provider. The exposure of this personal position information to the service provider has raised a privacy problem, and thus privacy preserving mechanisms have been proposed to protect them. In this paper, we examine the types and features of the proposed location-sharing based services so far, and survey the research trend of privacy preserving mechanisms for them. Through the analysis on existing privacy preserving mechanisms, we present design factors for a privacy preserving mechanism for the current LSBS services, and suggest future work.

  • 최근 정보 기술의 급격한 발전으로 스마트폰이 우리의 일상 생활에 점점 더 많이 들어오고 있으며, 사용자들은 많은 서비스들을 누릴 수 있게 되었다. 위치 기반 서비스(LBS)의 경우 스마트폰에 탑재된 위치 확인 기능을 통해 음식점 추천, 길찾기 등 개인형 맞춤 서비스를 제공하며, 사용자는 간단한 동의를 통해 자신의 위치를 LBS 서버에 전송하게 된다. 이는 사용자의 개인정보 침해의 요소가 될 수 있으며, 사용자의 민감한 정보가 공개될 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사용자의 경로 데이터의 민감 정점을 보호하고, 통계적 질의를 할 때, 절대적으로 개인정보를 보호할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

  • Location Based Service (LBS) is a service provided to the subscribers based on their (or others') geographical location. Interest in LBS has increased not only in the aspect of promoting utilization, including the public usage such as emergency rescue, but also in the aspect of protecting the personal location information of the subscribers. This study aims to suggest and classify the business models for LBS services, focusing on the flow of the personal location information. Each business model is reviewed from the perspective of protecting the location privacy of the subscribers.

  • Recent development in wireless communication technology, like GPS, and mobile equipments, like PDA and cellular phone, make location-based services (LBSs) popular. However, because, users continuously request a query to a server in the LBSs by using their exact locations, privacy information could be in danger. Therefore, a mechanism for users' privacy protection is required for the safe and comfortable use of LBSs by mobile users. For this, we, in this paper, propose a grid-based cloaking area creation scheme supporting continuous LBSs in peer-to-peer environment. The proposed scheme creates a cloaking area by using Chord protocol, so as to support the continuous LBSs in peer-to-peer environment. Finally, we show from a performance analysis that our cloaking scheme outperforms the existing cloaking schemes, in terms of service time.

A K-Nearest Neighbour Query Processing Algorithm for Encrypted Spatial Data in Road Network (도로 네트워크 환경에서 암호화된 공간데이터를 위한 K-최근접점 질의 처리 알고리즘)

  • Due to the recent advancement of cloud computing, the research on database outsourcing has been actively done. Moreover, the number of users who utilize Location-based Services(LBS) has been increasing with the development in w ireless communication technology and mobile devices. Therefore, LBS providers attempt to outsource their spatial database to service provider, in order to reduce costs for data storage and management. However, because unauthorized access to sensitive data is possible in spatial database outsourcing, it is necessary to study on the preservation of a user's privacy. Thus, we, in this paper, propose a spatial data encryption scheme to produce outsourced database from an original database. We also propose a k-Nearest Neighbor(k-NN) query processing algorithm that efficiently performs k-NN by using the outsourced database. Finally, we show from performance analysis that our algorithm outperforms the existing one.
