Internet privacy has become a significant issue in recent years in light of the sharp increase in internet-based social and economic activities. The technology which collects, processes and disseminates personal information is improving significantly and the demand for personal information is rising given its inherent value in regard to targeted marketing and customized services. The high value placed on personal information has turned it into a commodity with economic worth which can be transacted in the marketplace. Therefore, it is strongly required to approach the issue of privacy from economic perspective in addition to the prevailing approaches. This article analyzes the behaviors of consumers and firms in gathering personal information, and shielding it from unauthorized access, using a game theory framework in which players strive to do their best under the given conditions. The analysis shows that there exist no market forces which require all firms to respect consumer privacy, and that government intervention in the form of a nudging incentive for information sharing and/or strict regulation is necessary.

The Korean government published the personal information de-identification guideline on June 2016, which were made by related government ministries. The guideline's objective is that the invigoration of Korean bigdata industry on personal information protection under the current laws. However, if there is some unreasonable method or process in the guideline, it can be an obstacle to bigdata analysis. This article will review the guideline to find defects in methods and processes of de-identification evaluation, de-identification support and data-linkage and then propose the best solutions to improve them. Lastly, this article will mention how these solutions can invigorate Fintech industry.

하나의 기술을 넘어 인간 생활 자체로서 발돋움한 네트워크는 인터넷을 바탕으로 하여 Home Area Network에 이어 Personal Area Network란 신개념을 창출하였다. 이는 단순히 기술의 발전을 통한 개인 생활의 효용성 증대란 의미 외에 네트워크 기술이 해결해야 할 필연적인 과제로서 이에 대한 시장과 관심은 점점 더 커져가고 있는 실정이다. 본 고에서는 PAN의 구현에 필요한 다양한 무선 기반의 기술들을 소개하며, 단순한 근거리 무선 통신 기술을 넘어 이제는 3세대 이동 통신망의 주요 요소 기술로까지 발전하고 있는 Bluetooth 기술이 어떠한 연구와 방식을 통해 개인 정보망에 적용될 수 있는지 알아보고자 한다.

The risk of leakage of personal information is growing with new services such as social networking and cloud services by the rapid development of information. In particular, the field of medical IT technology is required to solve problems arising from the aging society and sustainable economic development, and in accordance with the requirements to improve the quality of life, a new market for medical devices and healthcare services can be expected. However, most of the medical information system was computerized with the introduction of IT technology, and when they exchange and transfer of medical information between institutions, medical information leakage occurs and security risk is growing. In this paper we review and analyse the security of personal health information related to the major legal systems and technical and administrative protection.

빅데이터가 일상이 된 현대 사회에서 책 시장의 증가와 책 양의 증가로 인하여 책을 개인에 맞게 선택하는데 어려움이 있다. 그래서 개인 맞춤 추천 시스템이 필요하다. 개인 맞춤 추천 시스템에서 가장 많이 사용하는 방법은 협업 필터링 방법이 있다. 협업 필터링은 희박성 문제를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 협업 필터링 방법에 희박성 문제를 해결하기 위하여 지역, 나이, 성별, 장르 등 개인 성향을 이용하고, 기존의 책 리뷰를 오피니언 마이닝 기법을 적용하여 개인 맞춤형 도서를 추천하는 추천시스템을 제안한다.

This paper deals with the online privacy policy, which is designed to solve the information asymmetry problem between websites and internet users. We empirically analyze the recognition, confirmation of the online privacy policy, and its effects on online transaction behavior using a rich survey data representing 5,422 Korean internet users. Major results are as follows. First, there exists a significant difference between recognition and confirmation, and confirmation behavior is positively related with the importance of privacy issue and the experience of privacy invasion. Second, binary variable regressions show that internet user tends to participate in online transaction if he/she confirms the online privacy policy positively. Finally, if websites would make online privacy policy easy and short, a yearly online transaction market size of Korea would increase by 0.46 million participants and 22.4 billion KRW.

최근 스마트폰의 대중화와 더불어 스마트폰 애플리케이션의 공급과 수요 또한 활성화 되고 있다. 이에 스마트폰의 애플리케이션 시장 또한 활성화 되었다. 하지만 기하급수적으로 증가한 애플리케이션에 사용자가 자신에게 적합한 애플리케이션을 선택하기가 용이하지 않다. 이에 본 논문에서는 사용자 개인 정보와 감정을 이용한 애플리케이션 추천 시스템을 제안한다. 사용자 정보와 감정을 k-means 알고리즘을 이용하여 군집화를 시켜주었으며 사용자가 평가한 애플리케이션에 대한 만족도를 이용하여 유사도를 검출 및 추천하기 위하여 피어슨 상관계수와 교차추천을 이용하였다. 또한 협업 필터링의 신규 사용자에 대한 초기 평가치 부재에 의한 콜드 스타트(cold-start) 문제를 해결하기 위해 신규 사용자의 개인정보와 감성정보를 활용하여 기존 사용자와의 유사도를 비교한다. 이웃사용자를 추출하고 이웃사용자로부터 추천을 받는다. 즉, 추천시스템 데이터베이스 내의 정보가 충분한 사용자에게는 협업필터링을 그렇지 않은 신규 사용자에게는 협업필터링 대신 제시한 방법을 적용하는 하이브리드 추천 방법을 제안하였다.

In this paper, a technology to protect important information from access in order to revitalize the cloud service market. A technology is proposed to solve the risk of leakage of important confidential and personal information stored in cloud systems, which is one of the various obstacles to the cloud service market. To protect important information, access control rights to cloud resources are granted to cloud service providers and general users. The system administrator has superuser authority to maintain and manage the system. Client computing services are managed by an external cloud service provider, and information is also stored in an external system. To protect important in-house information within the company, all users, it was designed to provide access authority with users including cloud service providers, only after they are authenticated. It is expected that the confidentiality of cloud computing resources and service reliability achieved through the proposed access control technology will contribute to revitalizing the cloud service market.

국내 브로드밴드 시장은 성숙기를 넘어서 포화기에 접어듬에 따라, 가격경쟁 및 접속서비스의 속도 경쟁력을 기반으로 가입자 천이/이탈 현상이 심화되고 있다. 이에, 네트워크 엑세스 사업자들은 타사업자 대비 차별화된 경쟁력을 제시하여 고객 충성도 향상은 물론 신규 매출을 창출할 수 있는 방안을 제공하기 위한 돌파구를 찾고 있다. 이를 위한 해결방안으로서 개인화에 기반한 브로드밴드 사업의 방향 전환과 이를 지원하기 위한 장비의 기술 동향에 대해 소개하고자 한다.
