Design of M-learning Tutoring System Using AFFIRIP model (AEFIRIP 모델을 이용한 M-learning 튜터링 시스템 설계)

  • M-learning (Mobile learning)을 기반으로 한 코스웨어나 모듈 설계 시 학습자의 적극적 참여와 의미 있는 상호작용의 기회 제공과 실제적 환경에서의 교육활동을 지원하는 것에 초점을 맞추어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 M-learning을 기반으로 실제적 상황에서의 학습을 위한 지능적 튜터링 모델인 AEFIRIP (Activation, Externalization, Focusing, Interpretations, Reflection, Information Processing)모델을 활용하여 독서교육 튜터링 시스템을 설계하였다. AEFIRIP 모델은 모바일 학습에 초점을 맞추어 실제적 상황에서 다양한 모바일 장비를 활용할 수 있도록 설계되었으며 CSCL(Computer Supported Collaborative Learning)학습의 일환으로 활용 가능하다. AEFIRIP 모델은 6단계의 구조화된 모바일 튜터링을 통하여 학습 활동을 위한 반자동화된 튜터링을 제공하며, 개별화 학습을 가능케 한다. 본 시스템은 M-learning에서 학습자의 독서 단계에 따라 개별화된 튜터링을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 자극 에이전트, 도움 에이전트, 요청 튜터링 에이전트, 튜터링 대화 에이전트, 개인 튜터링 에이전트, 튜터링 포인터 에이전트의 6단계의 튜터링 에이전트를 구안하였다. 본 시스템의 활용을 통하여 학습자는 실제적 환경에서 모바일 장비를 통하여 독서 활동과 관련한 튜터링을 제공받으며, 학습자와 교사 간 다양한 상호작용이 가능하다.

The comparison on the learning effect of low-achievers in mathematics using Blended e-learning and Personalized system of instruction (수학 성취도가 낮은 학생의 보충 지도 과정에서 블렌디드 e-러닝과 개별화 교수체제의 효과 비교 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the impact on low-achievers in mathematics who studied mathematics using Blended e-learning and Personalized system of instruction after school. Blended e-learning is defined as the management of e-learning using the e-study run by the education office in local. Personalized system of instruction was proceeded as follows; (1) all students are given a syllabicated learning task and a study guide, (2) students study the material autonomously according to their own pace for a certain period of time, (3) the teacher strengthens the students' motivation through grading and feedback after students study a subject and solve the evaluation problem. The learning materials for Personalized system of instruction are re-edited the offline education contents provided by the blended e-learning to the level of students. The 118 $7^{th}$ grade students from the D middle school participated in this study. The results were verified by achievement tests before and after the study, as well as survey regarding their attitude toward mathematics. The results are as follows. First, Blended e-learning has more positive impacts than Personalized system of instruction in mathematics achievement. Second, there was no difference in mathematics achievement according to their self-directed learning between Blended e-learning and Personalized system of instruction. Third, both types utilizing Blended e-learning and Personalized system of instruction have positive effect on attitude toward mathematics, and there is not their difference between two methods of teaching and learning mathematics.

  • Modern times are called 'the system and fusion era'. One system has been compounded with the other system repeatedly, and the new systems form a great mixed system again and again. Discrete electronic devices have been integrated as one semiconductor system and have been unified as a great mixed system frequently. This study proposes a module based 2-year college electronic engineering curriculum focused on system and integrated circuit design. This curriculum is devised to be suitable for the industrial environment, especially in the school-industry cooperation, and is recomposed to promote the organic union of interdisciplinary courses. The newly designed course has been developed as a multi semester module model which enables a practical field training and in-depth study.

  • Although importance of music education for the mentally retarded children is realized, it is hard to improve study effects for those children with the existing music education methods due to cognitive disorders of the children. In the paper, we propose a system to improve music cognition ability of the mentally retarded children. The system is designed based on the existing MMCP theory. Our system has the following characteristics. First, the system can improve cognitive, physical, social and emotional development as well as development of music cognition ability. Second, the individualized music education is possible for the children. Third, more active and interactive education is possible.

대학 개혁의 새로운 방향

  • 국내 대학들은 선택의 기로에 서 있는 것으로 보인다. 그러나 경쟁논리의 강화로 인해 대학이 생산할 지식이 기술과 실용 중심으로 치달을 때 발생할 문제가 적지 않다고 볼 때 '리엔지니어링'을 하기 위한 대학 개혁방안을 선뜻 환영할 수는 없다. 따라서 어렵더라도 개혁의 또 다른 방식을 모색하지 않으면 안된다. 이 새로운 방식은 통합학문 형태여야 할 것이다. 인간 능력의 통합화가 파편화보다는 낫다는 측면에서도 일단 통합 학문적 접근이 분과학문 체제에 비해 바람직하다. 이를 위해 개별 대학과 국가 차원의 학문 전략 수립, 학문 세계 내부의 민주화가 필요하며 권위주의를 혁파해야 한다.

A Web-based Monitoring System of Class Status (웹기반 학업상태모니터링시스템의 구현)

  • Computer based teaming system has considerable influence upon teaching technique and teaming efficiency. It is possible to make a learner-oriented teaching in the online learning system. In this case, it can provide easily and immediately learner with various information that relate to class status, for example, attendance, examination score and so on. In the case of conventional off-line education, however, it is inefficient to provide the information of class status for learners compared with on-line system. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system of class status which can provide various information of teaming status for learners, instructors and advisors. It is useful to advise student's course work and job. The main purpose of this system is to prepare a monitoring system of class status on a web based e-class system. It achieves self-monitoring systems which provide a feedback data as a result of class for students.

Development of an Web-Based English Learning System for Middle Schools (웹에 기반한 중학교 영어학습시스템의 개발)

  • Although distance education system based on WBI theory has already been generalized in domestic universities and some private academical institutes, the use of the system in the real fields of schools is in the early stage now. In this paper, we develop a model of English learning system for middle school students and improve students' learning methods through the system. The system also makes students study all the learning topics which they choose in the system freely and repeatedly. It was applied to the middle school students. The analysis of the application showed the following results. First, it was very effective for students to achieve the learning objectives of the course of English. Second, the system made students improve their abilities to study English and also increase their abilities to surf the Internet and glean useful information. Third, the system made it possible for students to accomplish individual learning.

  • One often thinks that those doing any activity on the Internet are likely to be addicted to it so that they tend to rather restrain the educational use of what the Internet can provide. However, the online edu-games deserve a good learning material which can not only provoke learners' interest but also draw out a smoother interaction between teachers and learners. Even the preliminary study on immersion verified that the Internet could work positively for the learners. Considering that online edu-games can be a useful tool for individual learning, more studies on immersion should be conducted focusing on the individualization in the future. This paper shows the differences among the components of learning immersion depending on the different individual cognitive styles in the online edu-games.

  • The aim of this paper is developing the educational program for the elder's daily life as a consumer, according as recognize the important of their consumption function and role in modern society. This paper consider the studies for elder consumption needs and activities for educational program, then present six principles and contents in four areas. The principals are empirical, socialization, interrelation, spontaneity, individualization and respect for the aged principal. The program themes are preventive education for elder consumer, advisable transaction, advisable transaction through cases and consumer's right, responsibility, duty and process of decision for purchase.

  • 수학적 지식과 능력을 활용하여 생활 주변의 여러 가지 문제를 해결하는 능력의 신장이야말로 수학교육의 목표이자, 수학 학습의 근본적인 이유가 된다. 그러나 문제해결 능력이 가장 많이 필요한 문장제 문제해결과, 문제 푸는 방법 찾기 단원을 학생들은 해결하기 어려워한다. 다른 단원보다 명확하게 식을 찾을 수 있는 연산 문제들과 다르고, 책에 제시되어 있는 방법을 쉽게 사용을 하지 못하며. 그 문제의 의미를 이해하지 못한다. 그래서 문제를 푸는데 즐거움을 느끼지 못한다. 이에 본 연구는 문제 푸는 방법 찾기 단원을 중심으로 문제해결 능력 신장을 위한 교수 학습 시스템 설계를 목적으로 학습의 과정별, 특성별, 연계별 학습 내용을 고려하여 학년 통합, 내용 통합하여 재구성하였다. 그리고 교수-학습 모듈, 평가 모듈, 상호작용 모듈로 시스템을 구성하였다. 시공간의 제약을 극복하여 학습자들의 수준에 적합한 개별화 학습을 제공하고, 웹을 이용한 문제 만들기 활동을 통하여 학습에 자신감을 기르고, 또한, 자기주도적 학습 능력을 향상시키는 계기가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
