Analysis of Correlation between the Hydrogen Embrittlement and the Small Punch Test for Hydrogen-charged Dual Phase Steels (수소주입시킨 DP박강판의 SP시험과 수소취성 관계 해석)

  • Small punch(SP) tests were performed on high strength Dual Phase(DP) steels in order to evaluate the behavior of hydrogen embrittlement. For this purpose, three different kinds of DP steel specimens were charged with hydrogen by electochemical hydrogen charging experiment. After charging with hydrogen, the amount of charged hydrogen was measured. The measurement results showed that amounts of charged hydrogen were largely dependent on the martensite volume fraction of DP steel. The hydrogen charging time of 25 hrs with current densities of 150 and $200mA/cm^2$ was investigated as saturation condition with hydrogen. The analysis results on the SP energy and height of SP bulbs after SP tests showed that those were decreased as the amount of charged hydrogen increased. Fractographs of SP bulbs were observed a brittle fracture mixed with quasi-cleavage fractures, layered structures and clear facets.

  • 순환유동층은 주탑에서 비말 동반된 입자를 cyclone과 같은 입자 포집장치에서 회수하여 다시 주탑으로 재 주입함으로써 입자의 순환이 일어나는 외부 순환계와 종래의 유동층내에 원형관(Draft tube)이나 평판을 설치하여 두개의 층으로 분리한 후 가스 분산판 위의 간격을 통해 입자들을 두 구역 사이로 강제 순환시키는 내부순환계로 분류할 수 있다. 드래프트 관을 갖는 내부순환유동층 반응기는 기체와 고체의 적절한 접촉을 통해 반응이 이루어지는 반응기 형태이다.(중략)

Elimination side-channel information or prevention it from being used to attack a secure system is an tractive ares of research. In this paper, differential power analysis techniques to attack the DES are experimented and analyzed. And we propose the prevention of DPA attack by software implementation technique.

  • 변압기 내부의 수분은 절연물의 절연내력에 악영향을 끼치므로 수분측정은 변압기 사고예방과 수명연장에 매우 중요하다. 변압기 내의 수분함유량을 검출하는 시험법으로 Karl-Fischer법과 Dew-Point법을 사용해 왔다. 그러나 이 시험법은 기기를 분해해야 하고, 국부적인 부분에 대한 정보일 뿐 아니라 분석을 즉시 현장에서 하지 못하는 단점이 있다. 따라서 기존 시험법의 단점을 보완하기 위해 회복전압법(RVM, Return Voltage Method)이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 모의 셀 내부에 수분을 강제로 주입하여 수분함유량 변화를 주고 Karl-Fischer법을 통한 수분함유량 측정 결과와 RVM 특성 곡선을 비교 분석하였다.

A Study on Solidification and Wear Character of Multi-alloyed White Cast Iron

  • 응고 및 마모거동을 연구하기 위하여 Cr, V, Mo 및 W의 조성이 다른 3종류의 백주철을 주조하였다. 고주파유도용해로에서 장입시켜 1873K까지 승온시켜 장입원료들을 모두 용해시킨 후 1823K에서 Y블럭주형에 주입하였다. 얻어진 3종류의 백주철조성은 다음과 같다: Fe-3%C-10%Cr-5%Mo-5%W(합금1), Fe-3%C-10%V-5%Mo-5%W(합금2) 및 Fe-3%C-17%Cr-3%V(합금 3)응고과정을 추적하기 위하여 각 시편으로부터 50g을 채취한 후 알루미나도가니에 넣고 실리콘카바이드로를 사용하여 1723K의 알콘분위기하에서 재용해를 시켰다. 용금을 10K/분의 속도로 냉각시키면서 열분석을 행하였으며 도중 몇 차례 소입 실험을 병행하였다.합금1의 경우 초정오스테나이트, (오스테나이트+$M_7C_3$)공정, (오스테나이트+$M_6C$)공정, 합금2의 경우 초정 MC, 초정오스테나이트, (오스테나이트+MC)공정 , (오스테나이트+$M_2C$)공정, 합금3의 경우 초정 $M7C_3$와 (오스테나이트+$M_7C_3$)공정으로 구성되어 있었다. 주방상태, 균질화열처러상태, 공냉상태, 템퍼링상태에서 내마모시험을 행하였다. 먼저 주방상태시 편을 진공분위기하에서 1223K에서 5시간동안 균질화열처리를 행한후 로냉을 시켰다. 다시 이 시편을 1323K에서 2시간 유지후 강제공냉을 시켰으며 강제공냉된 시편을 573K에서 3시간동안 템퍼링처리를 하였다. 내마모시험은 120 mesh마모지에 10N의 하중을 가하여 실시하였다. 각 사이클마다 무게감소를 측정하였으며 8번 반복실험을 하였다. 마모량은 균질화열처리시편, 주방상태시편, 템퍼링시편, 공냉시편의 순으로 감소하였다. 합금2가 마모량이 가장 적었으며 합금3이 가장 많았다. 합금2의 마모량이 가장 적은 이유는 조직이 초정 MC, 공정 MC 및 공정 M2C로 구성되어 있기 때문으로 사료된다.주방상태에서 기지조직은 퍼얼라이트이었으나 열처리를 통하여 마르텐사이트, 템퍼드마르텐사이트, 잔류오스테나이트로 변태하였다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면 MC가 내마모성에 가장 기여하는 조직으로 판단되어진다.

Analysis of the Vent Path Through the Pressurizer Manway Under the Loss of Residual Heat Removal(RHR) System During Mid-Loop Operation in PWR (가압경수로 부분충수 운전중 잔열제거 (RHR)계통 상실시 가압기 통로를 통한 배출유로 특성 분석)

  • The present study is to understand the physical phenomena anticipated during the accident with RHR loss under mid-loop operation in a PWR and, at the same time, to examine the prediction capability of RELAP5/MOD3.1 on such an accident, by simulating an integral test relevant to this accident for reliable analysis in an actual PWR. The selected experiment, i.g. BETHSY Test 6.9a, represents the configuration with the pressurizer manway open and steam generators unavailable during the accident. Accordingly, the results of this ok are sure to contribute to understanding both the key events as well as the sensitive parameters, anticipated in the accident, for validity of the actual analysis. In the simulation result overall behavior as well as major phenomena observed in the experiment have been predicted reasonably by RELAP5/MOD3.1, however, the problem associated with enormous computing time .due to small time step size has been encountered. Besides, the code prediction of higher swollen level in the pressure vessel has given rise to overestimation of both pressurizer level and RCS pressure. Subsequently, overprediction of the break flow through the manway has led to earlier core uncovery than that in the experiment by about 400 seconds. As a whole, it is demonstrated from both the experiment and the analysis that gravity feed has not been sufficient to recover the core level and thus additional forced feed has been necessary in this configuration.

Effects of Heat-Treatments on Transformation Behavior of Matrix Structures in High Alloyed White Cast Iron (고합급백주철에 있어서 열처리가 기지조직의 변태에 미치는 영향)

  • Three different white cast irons alloyed with Cr, V, Mo and W were prepared in order to study their transformation behavior of matrix structures in heat-treated conditions. The specimens were produced using a 15kg-capacity high frequency induction furnace. Melts were super-heated to $1600^{\circ}C$, and poured at $1550^{\circ}C$ into Y-block pepset molds. Three combinations of the alloying elements were selected so as to obtain the different types of carbides and matrix structures : 3%C-10%Cr-5%Mo-5%W(alloy No. 1), 3%C-10%V-5%Mo-5%W(alloy No. 2) and 3%C-17%Cr-3%V(alloy No. 3). The heat-treatments were conducted as follows: frist of all, as-cast specimens were homogenized at $950^{\circ}C$ for 5h under the vacuum atmosphere. Then, they were austenitized at $1050^{\circ}C$ for 2h and followed by air-hardening in air. The air-hardened specimens were tempered at $300^{\circ}C$ for 3h. The observation of morphology of the matrix structures was carried out in the states of as-cast(AS), air-hardened(AHF) and tempered(AHFT). The matrix structures of each alloy were almost fully pearlitic in the as-cast state but it was transformed to martensite, tempered martensite and retained austenite by the heat-treatments such as air-hardening and tempering.

Case Study of Improvement against Leakage of a Sea Dike under Construction (해안제방 시공 중 해수유입에 대한 차수보강 사례분석)

  • In this study, the causes and countermeasures for the leakage of a sea dyke under construction are analyzed. In general, the seabed ground is clearly divided from the embankment but a lot of parts show abnormal zones with low resistivity from the results of electric resistivity survey. Hence the causes of the leakage are considered as following: three-dimensional shear strain behavior, irregular compulsory replacement of the soft seabed ground with low strength and quality deterioration of the waterproof sheets during the closing process. The improvement method is determined by considering the constructability in the seawater and its velocity condition, durability, economic feasibility, similar application cases and so on. Consequently, a combination of low slump mortar and slurry grouting and injection method is selected as an optimum combination. Mixing ratio and improvement pattern are determined after drilling investigation and pilot test. The improvement boundary is separated into general and intense leakage area. The construction is performed with each pattern and the improvement effects are confirmed. The confirmed effects with various tests after completion show tolerable ranges for all of the established standards. Finally, various issues such as prediction of length of the waterproof sheet, installation of it against seawater velocity, etc. should be considered when sea dykes are designed or executed around the western sea which has high tide difference.

Minimizing Benzo(a)pyrene Content in the Manufacturing of Sesame Oil and Perilla Oil (참기름과 들기름의 제조조건에 따른 벤조피렌 함량 변화)

  • This study was carried out to identify the cause of benzo(a)pyrene[B(a)P] production during the manufacture of sesame oil and perilla oil, and to minimize such B(a)P synthesis. The distribution of B(a)P in sesame seed and perilla seed differed with seed-growing district, the range was $0.06{\sim}0.31{\mu}g/kg$ in domestic seed and $0.12{\sim}0.47{\mu}g/kg$ in imported seed. B(a)P contents after roasting at $220^{\circ}C$ for 20 min in sesame seed and perilla seed were $1.87{\sim}2.47{\mu}g/kg$ and $2.12{\sim}2.43{\mu}g/kg$, respectively, and levels in oils obtained from the roasted seeds were $3.68{\mu}g/kg$ and $4.64{\mu}g/kg$, respectively. These data refer to seeds subjected to codsed roasting. With open roasting, the levels were $0.63{\mu}g/kg$ and $0.56{\mu}g/kg$, respectively. Closed roasting resulted in absorption of B(a)P, with consequent high levels in oils. We introduced forced ventilation during closed roasting. We tested various methods to remove B(a)P from sesame oil and perilla oil. Neither centrifugation nor filtering with diatomite and diatomiteactive carbon removed B(a)P. A filtering method using active carbon was effective. But this method adversely affected the color and flavor of sesame oil and perilla oil.

Estimation of Application on the Site of SRC Method for the Ground Reinforcement in Marine Clay (해성점토층에서 SRC 지반보강에 관한 현장적용성 평가)

  • Currently, the west coast has focused on large-scale investment and development, such as harbor construction work and land reclamation projects, with soft ground grouting issues being the major concern. In addition, grouting for soft ground reinforcement is definitely considered that construction purpose, soil condition, construction situation, and construction costs. The SRC method, which is a high pressure injection method, can easily produce well-distributed strength regardless of soil characteristics and is environmentally friendly. Therefore in this study, the SRC method was applied to marine clay on the west coast where located Jeongok-ri, Seosin-myeon, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea as well as estimated of the ground reinforcement and the application on the site. The results of the application on the site by SRC method indicated age 28 day strength is $14,700{\sim}31,800kN/m^2$ which is satisfied the criterion of unconfined compressive strength that more than $5,333kN/m^2$. Therefore the result that the SRC method constructed marine clay on the west coast indicated the outstanding strength as well as excellent durability.
