본 논문에서는 강의노트의 저장 형식이 XML 문서라는 사실을 기반으로 강의노트 사이의 유사도 계산 문제를 XML 문서 사이의 유사도 계산 문제로 치환해 해결한다. 그리고 유사도를 계산할 때 강의노트가 포함하는 컨텐츠의 논리적 구조의 특징을 반영한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 기법을 사용해 사용자가 소유한 강의노트와 유사한 강의노트들을 정확하게 검색함으로써 사용자가 효과적으로 강의노트를 학습할 수 있도록 도움을 줄 수 있다.

Education and training are expected to change dramatically due to the combined impact of the Internet, database, and multimedia technologies However, the distance learning is often impeded by the lack of effective tools and system to manage and retrieve the lecture contents effectively. This paper introduces a prototype system called COVA that enables remote users to access specific parts of interest by contents from a large lecture database. COVA includes several novel techniques to achieve the content-based lecture retrieval in distance teaming: (1) The XML-based semistructured model to represent lecture contents; (2) The technique to build structural summaries, i.e., schemas, of XML lecture databases; (3) Index structures to speed up the search to find appropriate lecture contents.

The contents of remote lectures are written by authoring tools or animation tools. Written contents then integrate existing medias, and are stored in a file type, which is added to the lecturing activities of lecturers. These files are stored according to the kinds of each authoring tool. So, there is no interchangeability and the efficiency of each media is not so good. Due to these structural features, it is not possible to do streaming lectures in on-line environments. In this study, a technique was suggested, which guarantees the interchangeability of remote lecturing contents using SMIL which is a synchronizing multimedia language. The suggested technique is an extended type of SMIL, and includes tags to represent the lectures of tutors which are the specific feature of remote lectures. Additionally, a model, which does streaming SMIL remote lecture contents through on-line, and which transfers control techniques are suggested. The remote lecture contents established by the proposed method can be applied to all authoring tools for remote lectures just by installing conversion modules, and can be a kind of expression model of the synchronizing model for streaming service in on-line environment.

동영상 플레이어에서 제공되는 브라우징 기법은 동영상의 주요 장면을 이미지로 보여줌으로써, 사용자가 주요 장면에 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 해준다. 강의 동영상은 일반 동영상과는 달리 매우 정적이므로, 기존 동영상 브라우징 기법은 강의 동영상에 적용하기에 알맞지 않다. 본 연구에서는 강의 동영상에 주로 슬라이드가 함께 나온다는 점에 착안하여, 영상에서 슬라이드 이미지를 추출하여 이를 대표 프레임으로 지정하는 방법에 대해 연구하고, 브라우징 인터페이스를 구현하였다. 슬라이드 이미지가 대표 프레임으로 사용되므로 학습자는 대표 프레임들만을 보고 동영상을 시청하지 않고도 원하는 정보를 신속하고 정확하게 찾을 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 IPv6 멀티캐스트 네트워크에서 원격 강의 시스템의 강의 세션 정보 및 관련 강의 자료를 처리하기 위한 IPv6 멀티캐스트 세션 디렉토리를 설계하고 이를 구현한다. IPv6 멀티캐스트 네트워크를 구축하기 위하여 IPv6 터널링 기법을 이용하였고, 멀티캐스트 세션정보를 처리하기 위하여 표준적인 SDP(Session Description Protocol), SAP(Session Announcement Protocol)에 기초하여 멀티캐스트 세션 디렉토리를 설계하고 구현한다.

By the most important media to deliver the contents on a remote instruction we commonly use audio and documents. A number of remote instruction system are trying to offer the video, but they did not acquire satisfiable results because of the limited network and width. Also, they use the general web browsers that have a lot of unspecific users access the contents. Also, they use the general web browsers that have a lot of unspecific users access the contents. Like this most systems that use the continuous media have not offer the satisfiable contents because of the network limitation. Moreover, because they use the web browser, they offer the contents having documents(web pages) only. In this paper, we propose a web-based remote instruction system on real-time using audio and documents which are the most important media for a information delivery. In addition to the system, we use a action synchronization mechanism between the web browsers. If the instructor uses web pages on his computer and explains the contents of them, the learners see the same web pages as the instructor's and listens to his voice.

This Study is the summary of studies in analysis of‘Lecture Evaluation’made at H university where such evaluation for every course established has been carried out since 1990. This contains the contents of questionnaire drawn up through OMR scanner which has 7 fields with 10 items respectively. to investigate the general direction of the results, results of evaluation by lectures, different results of evaluation by fields, and the like. I applied such techniques of statistical analysis as T-test, analysis of variance table(Anova-table), and Regression analysis to examine the most important factor of successful lecturing.

원자로 압력용기 재료인 SA508-3 강의 인장소성변형에 따른 자기적 성질변화를 연구하였다. 소성변형에 따른 보자력, 잔류자화, 자기이력손실 및 Barkhausen Noise의 변화를 측정하였으며, 변형에 따른 자기적성질의 변화를 자구와 전위와의 상호작용으로 설명하였다. 강자성체의 자기적 성질과 기계적 성질 사이는 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 이를 이용하면 압력용기강의 조사효과 평가에 적용 할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

MRI는 주로 부인과 질환의 진단에 이용되어 왔으나 뛰어난 연조직 대조도와 다면 영상 능력으로 남성 골반강의 평가에서도 그 활용이 점차 확대되고 있다. 남성 골반강 MRI는 전립선을 중심으로 발전되어 왔으나 음경과 음낭, 요도 등을 침범한 외상, 종양 등의 질환에 매우 유용하므로 이들 부위에서의 MRI 이용이 더욱 증가할 것으로 보인다. 여기서는 전립선, 음경, 음낭 등의 남성 골반강 장기를 평가하는데 필요한 검사기법, 정상 해부학, 이상 질환의 MRI 소견 등에 대해 기술하고자 한다.

고속중성자를 조사한 원자로 압력용기용 SA508-3 강의 조사취화 회복에 따른 Barkhausen Noise의 변화와 미세경도의 변화를 조사하였다. 등온소둔에 의한 미세경도의 변화와 Barkhausen Count의 변화를 측정하였으며, 이들 사이의 상호 관련성을 고찰하고 격자결함에 의한 자구벽의 운동변화로 이를 설명하였다. 이는 앞으로 자기적 성질 변화를 이용한 조사손상 평가에 적용될 수 있을 것이다.
