Product Recommendation Service in Online Mass Customization: Consumers' Cognitive and Affective Responses (의류상품의 온라인 대량고객화 제품추천 서비스에 대한 소비자의 감정적, 인지적 반응)

  • This study examined the effects of product recommendation services as an atmosphere for online mass customization shopping sites on consumers' cognitive and affective responses. We conducted a between-subject experimental study using a convenience sample of college students. A total of 196 participants provided usable responses for structural equation modeling analysis. The findings of the study support the S-O-R model for a product recommendation system as an element of the shopping environment with an influence on OMC product evaluations and arousal. The results showed that OMC product recommendation service positively affected cognitive and affective responses. The findings of the study suggest that OMC retailers might pay attention to the affective and cognitive responses of consumers through product recommendation services that can enhance product evaluations and OMC usage intentions.

A Comparative Study of Emotional Response to Korean Drama among Countries: With Drama 'Goblin' (한국 드라마 수용에 있어서 국가별 감정 반응 분석: 드라마 <도깨비>를 중심으로)

  • This research aims to investigate 'Hallyu' contents consumption tendency of consumers from Korea, Japan, and the United States by analyzing their emotional responses. With the development of social media, research on emotion analysis by reviewing text materials has grown. Whereas environmental variables affect consumer demand towards 'Hallyu' contents, little comparative analyses have been conducted on the emotional responses of consumers from different countries. In this research, the emotional prototype model proposed by Russell(1980) used to extract and distinguish emotional words to clarify how people in the three countries differently perceive the Korean drama "Goblin". First of all, the SNS reviews were collected during a two-month period (February 12 to April 12). Second, significant factors were identified in the collected data according to Russell's emotion model. Third, random forest was applied to organize the selected variables in the order of variable importance. Fourth, the correlations among the emotional words were compared. Lastly, the accuracy of the trained model was measured using the test dataset. The results show that "Happy" was found to be the greatest factor in Korea and in the United States and "Pleased" in Japan. Emotional words correlations showed that when watching the drama "Goblin", "passive unpleasure" was the main factor associated with individual's interest in Korea whereas "passive pleasure" was associated with individual's interest in Japan and in the United States. Based on the results, this research suggests the possibility of developing evaluation guidelines for emotional responses of different countries towards 'Hallyu' contents.

Structural Relationship among Professional Service Satisfaction, Commitment and Loyalty (전문서비스의 만족과 몰입, 로열티의 구조적 관계)

  • This study is to examine loyalty building model which reflected differentiated traits of professional service to establish strong loyalty for gaining competitive edge. Professional service is where consumer can not easily predict the result of service as well as other common traits. It also has trait that is difficult to evaluate service satisfaction and quality even after using the service because knowledge imbalance between service provider and user is great. Therefore, in professional service, satisfaction and emotion that consumer perceives in the service use process will play critical role in loyalty formation. As a result, the model of this study divided dimension into responsiveness satisfaction which is satisfaction dimension of professional service use process, interaction satisfaction, technical satisfaction and structurally examined the relationship between emotional commitment and cognitive commitment and the relationship between dimension of commitment and loyalty. The analysis result show that dimension of satisfaction which perceived in professional service use process increases both emotional commitment and cognitive commitment and these commitments effect to loyalty formation.

Effect of Brand Personality, Brand-Self-image Congruence and Brand Affect on SNS Brand Recommendation (SNS 브랜드개성, 자아동일시, 브랜드감정이 SNS 추천의향에 미치는 영향)

  • Due to tough competition among social network services, technological specification alone could not be an adoption factor by the users. Instead, emotional factors such as a brand image and feeling towards an SNS brand became important factors in service differentiation. This study examined Korean young users perception of brand personalities of three social network services, Facebook, Kakao Story, and Band. It also analyzed the influence of the perception of brand personality, brand-self-image congruence, and brand affect on brand recommendation to others. The authors conducted a survey of Korean college students. The results indicate that SNS users perceived three SNS's brand personalities differently, and the positive perception of an SNS service has a positive effect on brand recommendation. Brand personality, brand-self-image congruence, and brand affect combined determine brand recommendation. When the brand personality variable is statistically controlled, brand affect has strong effect on brand recommendation.

  • As smartphone usage increases, the number of consumers who refer to review data of e-commercial products using web sites and SNS is also explosively multiplying. However, reading review data using traditional websites and SNS is time consuming. Also, it is impossible for consumers to read all the reviews. Therefore, a system that collects review data of products and conducts sentiment word analysis of the review is required to provide useful information. The majority of systems that provide such information inadequately reflect the properties of the product. In this study, we described a system that provides analysis and evaluation of e-commerce products through review sentiment words as reflected properties of the product. Furthermore, the system enables consumers to access processed information about reviews quickly and in visual format.

바이링걸의 재일 코리안 인지증 고령자와의 커뮤니케이션 -개인 회상법에 의한 양국 언어의 회화 분석을 통해-

  • 바이링걸의 인지증고령자와의 보다 유효한 커뮤니케이션의 가능성의 검토를 목적으로, 이문화를 배려한 모국어에 의한 개인 회상법을 이용한 회화를 실시했다. 회화는, 재일 코리안의 문화를 배려한 특별 양호 노인홈에 입주중이며 중도의 인지증 바이링걸 고령자 4명(모두 여성, 평균 88세)의 협력하에 실시했다. 모국어와 일본어의 장면에서, 개인 회상법에 의한 회화 내용과 감정 표출에 차이가 발생하는가의 관점에서 양 회화장면의 비교 분석을 실시했다. 그 결과, 중증의 인지증고령자라고해도 바이링걸의 특징인 자연스러운 코드 스위칭(Code-Switching;CS)가 관찰되었다. 즉, 과거의 학습이나 경험에 의해 축적된 모국의 언어 형식을 사용하는 기능이 잔존 능력으로서 잠재하고있는 것이 밝혀졌다. 덧붙여 ERiC 감정 반응 평가 척도를 이용해 관찰한 결과, 일본어의 장면보다 모국어의 장면에 대해 긍정적 감정의 풍부함이 관찰되었다. 이상으로, 바이링걸의 재일 코리안 인지증고령자 1세와 모국어를 이용한 회상법에 의한 회화는, 바이링걸의 특징을 기초로한 하나의 유효한 어프로치라고 생각된다.

The Effects of Emotional Labor Level on the Level of Job Satisfaction and Library Information Service Provision in Public Library Librarians (공공도서관 사서의 감정노동수준이 직무만족 및 도서관정보서비스 제공수준에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to investigate the effects of emotional labor level on the level of job satisfaction and library information service provision in public libraries. The research model used emotional labor levels as an independent variable; job satisfaction and level of library information service provision as a dependent variable; and organizational culture as a control factor. The data were collected randomly from 220 librarians of public libraries in Seoul by distributing and collecting internet surveys. Reliability analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, multiple regression analysis, and regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 18.0 program. The statistic hypothesis test results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, public library librarians did not like to express their emotions to users, trying to express their emotions more positively than what they were actually feeling. Second, although librarians experience emotional labors, they feel a sense of achievement when undertaking their tasks and develop pride and happiness in their work. As librarians perceive their work professional, they overcome emotional labors, and have pride in their work. Third, although librarians experience emotional labors, a reasonable job evaluation with goals, and their relationships with colleagues would lead to accomplishment in their work. In addition, although the evaluation of employees is focused on performance, librarians improve their service if library users are satisfied with their service and the services are provided adequately.

  • 본 논문은 소프트웨어의 완성도와 관련하여 발주사와 개발사간의 분쟁이 있을 시에 필요한 분쟁조정을 위한 평가방법을 연구하였다. 먼저 소프트웨어 개발 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 분쟁의 유형을 분류하였고, 객관적인 평가를 위한 감정 절차를 분류하였다. 본 연구에서는 분쟁조정의 객관성 확보를 위한 가중치 설정, 각 기능들에 대한 중요도를 설정하여 어느 정도의 완성도를 보였는지를 정량적으로 평가하였다. 또한, 프로그램의 복제 문제를 판단하기 위하여 필요한 감정 항목 설정 및 도용 여부를 판단하기 위한 기본 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • This paper is to identify and assess vulnerabilities of services considering the nature of service layers for analyzing vulnerability of SOA security. It is a model driven approach which provides the way to present security requirements of the business model and identify the vulnerabilities of the services to extract the secure service model. We validate the proposed method with the analytic evaluation because the predictive nature of our methodology poses some specific challenges for its validation.

Exploring the Conceptual Elements and Meaning of Meta-affect in Mathematics Learning (수학 학습 메타 정의의 개념 요소와 의미 탐색)

  • In this study, in accordance with the research trend that the learner's emotions expressed positively or negatively in mathematics learning or the learner's beliefs and attitudes toward mathematics learning affect the results of mathematics learning, the learner's emotions and affective factors are analyzed in the learner's own learning. A power that can be adjusted according to a goal or purpose is needed, and I tried to explain this power through meta-affect. To this end, the meaning of the definitional and conceptual factors of meta-affect was explored based on prior studies. Affective factors of meta-affect were viewed as emotions, attitudes, and beliefs, and conceptual factors of meta-affect were viewed as awareness, evaluating, controlling, utilization, and monitoring, and the meaning of each conceptual factor was also defined. In this study, the conceptual factors and meanings of meta-affect in terms of using them to help in learning mathematics by controlling them, beyond the identification or examination of the characteristics of the affective factors, which are meaningfully dealt with in the field of mathematics education.
