In the subject experiment of this paper, contrary to the existing thesis about the emotional labor of people in the face-to-face service industry, I have chosen call center agents as they are primary first point of contact with customers in the airline industry. The main purpose of this experiment is to understand the relationship in between workplace burnout and emotional labor. In this study, I have investigated the following concepts; the effect of mediation on emotional labor, the different levels of emotional labor, and recommendations for improvement of competitive power to the call center agent as a member of the organization. The main results of experiment are as follows. First, the emotional labor given by the airline call center agents affects the rate of burnout. Second, support from workplace superiors showed that mediation had an effect on the relationship between emotional labor and burnout, however support from co-workers had no effect whatsoever. It is hope that this paper would supply information to give a competitive edge for airline call centers and their agents.

In this paper, we suggest a efficient handwritten character verification method in on-line environments which automatically analyses two input character string and computes their similarity degrees. The proposed algorithm first applies the circular projection method to input handwritten strings and extracts their representative features including shape, directions, etc. It then calculates the similarity between two character strings by using an improved dynamic time warping (DTW) algorithm. We improved the conventional DTW algorithm efficiently through adopting the branch-and-bound policy to the existing DTW algorithm which is well-known to produce good results in the various optimization problems. The experimental results to verify the performance of the proposed system show that the suggested handwritten character verification method operates more efficiently than the existing DTW and DDTW algorithms in terms of the speed.

During the unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak, the public's information needs created an environment where they overwhelmingly consume information on the chronic disease. Given that news media affect the public's emotional well-being, the pandemic situation highlights the importance of paying particular attention to how news stories frame their coverage. In this study, COVID-19 news speech emotion from mainstream broadcasters in South Korea and the United States (US) were analyzed using convolutional neural networks. Results showed that neutrality was detected across broadcasters. However, emotions such as sadness and anger were also detected. This was evident in Korean broadcasters, whereas those emotions were not detected in the US broadcasters. This is the first quantitative vocal emotion analysis of COVID-19 news speech. Overall, our findings provide new insight into news emotion analysis and have broad implications for better understanding of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It helps to wisely abstain from errors of the a priori subjective emotions related to human emotions, and orders emotions to make rational choices. These emotional happiness of human and moral sensitivities work directly or indirectly in rational choice of rational thought and reason. Abraham would have been troubled by the divine mandate to sacrifice a son who was only one, and a son who had been healed. Was his reason reasonable at this time? In rational reason, it can be said that the act of dedicating his son is an appropriate act, but is it possible in the human mind? Aristoteles also called human virtue virtue in good for human beings. Because happiness is also a mental activity, we have to know a certain degree about the mind. This ψυχή(psyche, spirit) spirit is an irrational element that is invisible but an intervention in rational principles. Also C. G. Jung states that all human beings have four dynamic psychological functions that are not visible, and that the mind is driven by these four functional dimensions. This means that the elements of S, Sensing, N, Intuition, T, Thinking, and Feeling are combined. David Hume also emphasized the principle of empathy, asserting that morality can not be derived from reason, and Max Ferdinand Scheler, before grasping the visual characteristics of a person, has already captured the whole feeling of the person, And that the value given to this feeling is the value, and that the function of emotion that is elevated to the perceived object by grasping the value through this process and the value is always preceded by the reason. Emmanuel Levinas states that emotional emotions of love are ahead of reason and that emotions precede human reasoning and rationality is the inability of emotional control that we need rational thought and rational and wise action as reason of control and temperance. As part of human emotional education, in the 7th curriculum, Bloom's cognitive, perceptive, and behavioral domain, which is a person with integrated thinking, is trying to be a moral practitioner. It focuses on how to act according to the direction of emotions for virtuous acts and how to develop emotions for emotions on behalf of vicious acts. We can design the possibility and direction of cultivating human emotions and emotional happiness and happy sensitivities by the principle of strengthening virtue and the principle of elimination of ill feeling.

본 논문에서는 인터넷 메신저를 위한 새로운 감성 인터페이스를 제안한다. 이는 상용 인터넷 메신저에 시각과 촉각 정보를 이용한 입력과 표현 기술을 적용하여 원격지 사용자 간의 감성 교류의 증대를 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 문헌조사 및 메신저 사용자 설문조사를 기반으로 감정에 대한 분류 및 응용 대상이 되는 주요 감정을 추출하였고, 이를 바탕으로 시각과 촉각적 정보를 포함하는 visual icon으로써 ECON(Emotional ICON)을 정의하였다. 이 ECON은 ECON Editor를 이용하여 생성, 수정, 표현 확인이 가능하도록 하였고, ECON Player, 즉 실제 형체를 가지고 ECON의 동작 정보를 표현하는 새로운 장치를 제작하였다. 이러한 ECON 시스템을 인터넷 메신저와 연동하여 메신저의 이모티콘처럼 ECON을 사용함으로써 상대방의 감정을 시각적, 촉각적으로 표현함과 동시에 직관적인 입력을 제공하여 Emotional Interface 환경을 구축하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 ECON의 정의, ECON Editor의 구현, 키보드받침과 입술 모양으로 형상화된 ECON Player의 제작 및 메신저와 연동되어 동작하는 전체 ECON시스템에 관하여 설명하고, 또한 메신저 응용에 기반한 Emotional Interface에 대한 사용자의 평가와 향후 연구 방향에 대해서 기술한다.

본 논문은 사용자가 감각형 인터페이스를 사용하여 가상공간의 지능적인 화단을 체험, 체감 할 수 있는 시스템(Garden Alive)을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 카메라, 조도, 습도 센서를 갖춘 현실공간의 화단과 상호작용에 사용되는 감각형 인터페이스, 진화모듈과 감정모듈을 갖춘 인공지능 모듈, 그리고 가상식물의 성장과 반응을 보여주는 Virtual Garden으로 구성된다. 감각형 인터페이스는 카메라로 사용자의 손동작을 인식하고, 조도센서로 광량을 확인하여, 습도센서로 물의 양을 측정한다. 이러한 정보를 바탕으로 인공지능 모듈은 식물의 진화 방향과 감정상태의 변화를 결정한다. Virtual Garden은 L-system을 기반으로 제작되어 가상식물들은 실제 식물들과 유사한 형태로 성장하도록 한다. 제안된 Garden Alive에서 화단의 식물들은 각각의 개체마다. 유전자를 가지고 있어 식물의 다양성을 볼 수 있고, 빛과 수분 등의 환경요인에 따른 적합도를 평가함으로써 세대를 거듭함에 따라 진화해가는 모습을 볼 수 있다. 마지막으로 단순히 자극에 반응하는 식물이 아닌 사용자와 상호작용에 따른 식물의 감정 변화를 통해 적절한 반응을 보이는 지능적인 식물을 구현하였다. 따라서 제안된 시스템은 오락과 교육을 위한 콘텐츠, 사용자에 따른 개별적 반응을 통해 심리적인 안정을 제공할 수 있는 콘텐츠 등으로 응용될 수 있다.

In his recent paper, Hanseung Kim (2014) discusses the Cable Guy paradox and argues that given the nature of regret, it is rational to bet on the cable guy's afternoon arrival, though it is equally probable for him to arrive in the morning or afternoon interval. In this paper, I argue that regret is not essential to the paradox in that the paradox still arises even if we ignore regret. I then briefly discuss a possible way to proceed to resolve the paradox.

자막은 자막을 볼 수 있는 모든 사람들의 정보전달, 의사소통을 할 수 있는 유용한 도구로 사용 되고 있지만 자막은 평범한 텍스트로 있어 자막에서 강조된 부분, 감정 등을 전달 할 수 없다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 그러므로 청각 장애인들은 해당 컨텐츠의 감정, 강조 되는 부분을 알 수 없어 대화의 숨은 의미가 다른 방향으로 이해 할 수 있다는 위험성을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 음성을 텍스트로 변환하는 STT(Speech To Text)를 이용하여 동영상 스트리밍 서비스를 실시간으로 음성을 텍스트로 변환과 동시에 강조하는 부분까지 개발하여 청각장애인 입장에서 기존 자막보다 효율적인 시각적 효과를 주는 미디어 접근을 위한 동영상 스트리밍 자막 서비스를 개발하고자 한다.

This research aims to reconstruct the philosophical content and essence of Schopenhauer's metaphysics of music in his book, Die Welt als Wille und Vorstellung, particularly in paragraph 52, and to pay close attention to its theoretical account of music in the context of traditional musical aesthetics. The question whether Schopenhauer's theory of music is about aesthetics of feeling or about absolute music is dealt with at the end of this paper. It can be answered only within the whole system of his philosophy, because Schopenhauer's theory of music is the result of his philosophical reflections, and plays an important part in his metaphysics of the will. Schopenhauer's music theory, or rather his metaphysics of music, thus cannot be treated separately from Schopenhauer's metaphysics of the will, and is connected organically with it. As the metaphysics of the will lies in suspense between the traditional metaphysical philosophy and the non-metaphysical philosophy after Nietzsche, between the idealism and the philosophy of the body, the music aesthetics of Schopenhauer oscillates between the (romantic) aesthetics of feeling and the modern idea of absolute music.

The study started with the perception that there would be numerous conflicts within and outside the organization as a national and public cultural and artistic organization. In addition, the conflict acts as a negative problem factor for the members of the organization, and the resulting emotions were identified to determine what relationship. Specifically, 1) identify ingesting the conflict factors recognized by the members of the art corps (organizations) of incumbent national and public cultural and artistic organizations (organizations), and 2) how conflicts provide influence to the art corps as a negative problem factor, 3) the feelings of conflict (exhaustion, turnover intent, job dissatisfaction, negative transition) are intended to look at the relationship. To summarize the findings, it is as follows: The conflict struck by the members of the arts corps of national and public cultural and artistic organizations could consist of 1) organizational conflicts (management, administration, operations, etc.) and 2) personal conflicts (artistic preferences, colleagues, etc.). This conflict has been found to provide anegative direction to the feelings of members of the organization. Both organizational conflict and personal emotions were found to have an effect on emotional exhaustion, and emotional exhaustion was found to affect the intention of turnover and job dissatisfaction. In addition, job dissatisfaction was examined to have an effect of the static (+) on the turnover intent, the turnover intent and job dissatisfaction has an effect of the political (+) on the negative transfer. Based on these results, the authors of this study presented effective implications for cultural and artistic marketing.
