This research was the first step to develop Expert System for Evaluation of Human Sensibility, where human sensibility can be inferred from objective physiological signals. The study aim was to develop an algorithm in which human arousal level can be judged using measured physiological signals. Fuzzy theory was applied for mathematical handling of the ambiguity related to evaluation of human sensibility, and the degree of belonging to a certain sensibility dimension was quantified by membership function through which the sensibility evaluation was able to be done. Determining membership function was achieved using results from a physiological signal database of arousal/relaxation that was generated from imagination. To induce one final result (arousal level) based on measuring the results of more than 2 physiological signals and the membership function of each physiological signal, Dempster-Shafer's Rule of Combination in Evidence was applied, through which the final arousal level was inferred.

This study is aimed at minimizing the errors in using a sensitivity evaluation model that could occur when sensitivity analysis method is actively used for design evaluation. To extract words of a contrantion-type model by product, interior space, and streetscape design, primary word refinement was conducted with the words extracted from preceding studies. The analysis revealed that 19 words were used in all three fields. A reliability analysis revealed that different words had a bad impact on the reliability in each field. The applicability was reviewed through reliability analysis of EPA model as contraction-type and PAD model as inference-type. The results are as follows. Although the reliability of the contrantion-type model was higher than that of inference-type model in all three fields, the differences in Cronbach's Alpha were small. Also, When the reliability was analyzed after deleting the words that had a bad impact on reliability, the differences in the reliability's coefficients were clearly significant. Therefore, it is necessary to select words suitable for sensitivity evaluation target and objectivity of the evaluation can be boosted by using a proper model. Analysis of the sensitivity evaluation model suitable for future environmental evaluation should be analyzed with various statistical methods, beyond verification of reliability.

The purpose of this study is to provide the design direction based on consumer sensitivity through the structure between product design preferences - sensitivity image - design elements. For the purpose, we selected men's shaver products for this study subject and collected 164 shavers' pictures released between 2001-2007 years. Then, we carried out a pilot test for collection of sensitivity images about shavers, made a survey using semantic differential method and analyzed the survey. According the result, consumers preferred the sensitivity images "luxury, attractive, stable", design elements satisfied the preference images were "form of body is not a circular arcs or a polygon, material is steel, button is push style, and a color of body is not brown." This study can provide a base of the causal relationship between design preferences - sensitivity image - design elements and a design process to predict consumer sensitivity-oriented design.

시각과 관련된 정서 연구 중에서 색에 대한 연구나 움직임에 대한 연구는 많이 이루어져 왔으나 정적인 형태 자체에서 감성을 불러일으킬 수 있는가에 대한 연구는 많이 이루어지지 않았다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 2차원적인 형태 중, 모든 형태의 기본이 되는 3가지 기본적인 도형(삼각형, 사각형, 원)을 중심으로 도형의 물리적 속성에 따른 감성 차이가 있는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 도형의 물리적 속성은 물체 인식과 시각 디자인에서 중요시되는 요소인 방향성, 정형성, 비례, 예리함을 중심으로 감성이 어떻게 달라지는지를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 방향성, 정형성, 비례, 예리함에 따라 도형에 따른 감성의 차이가 모두 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 도형간의 차이는 쾌 불쾌 차원에서는 원으로 갈수록 쾌함을 확인했고 각성 차원에서는 삼각형으로 갈수록 각성이 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 방향성은 수평, 수직보다 기울어진 형태에서 쾌하고 각성이 낮음을 알 수 있었다. 비례는 너비와 높이의 비가 1:1 일 때 각성이 가장 낮고 쾌한 정도가 상대적으로 가장 높음을 알 수 있었고 비정형 도형일수록 불쾌하고 각성이 높음을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 도형과, 방향성 비례 그리고 정형성간의 상호작용 측면도 살펴보았고 어떤 요소가 더 영향을 미칠 수 있는지도 살펴보았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 도형이 어떤 속성이 이러한 감성을 불러일으키는 요인인지를 알아보기 위한 추가실험도 실시하였다. 그 결과 도형의 속성 중 모서리의 예리함이 감성차이를 불러일으킬 수 있는 요인이 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었고 선 형태와의 상호 작용 시 예리함이 감성에 더 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인임을 추론할 수 있었다. 이러한 도형이 주는 감성 연구는 도형의 감성적인 평가 과정이 인지와 정서간의 관계를 설명해 줄 수 있는 내용이 될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 아울러 기본이 되는 도형의 형태로부터 감성의 차이가 있음을 확인함으로써 제품의 물리적 디자인에 대한 가이드라인을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이라 예상된다. 특히 각성 상태가 인지적 수행에 중요한 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 사실로부터 학습도구에서의 도형의 효과적인 사용을 제안하고자 한다.

Good and bad luck is an important factor that frequently affects human information processing. However, in spite of its significance, few studies have been done to examine how good and bad luck influences information processing and reasoning. The current research was performed to explore the effect of good and bad luck on reasoning and, for this, two experiments were conducted. In experiment 1, participants were primed with good or bad luck and were asked to make an inference for a given murder case and include as many as clues for it, while in experiment 2, participants were asked to exclude as many as clues for the same murder case. Results show that, in experiment 1, participants who were primed with good luck included more clues than those who were primed with bad luck. However, in Experiment 2, it was found that participants who were primed with bad luck excluded more clues than those who were primed with good luck. Findings from this study indicate that priming good luck enhances holistic thinking which leads to including more and excluding less clues whereas priming bad luck increases analytic thinking which leads to including less and excluding more clues. Implications of this study for inference and decision making, consumer behavior, and addict psychology are discussed.

본 연구에서는 다차원 추천시스템을 기반으로 동영상 음악추천 시 평가 함수R을 극대화하기 위한 각 다차원 구성요소들은 무엇이고, 이들의 상대적 가중치에 대하여 연구하였다. 일반적으로 추천시스템의 구성변수가 많아질수록 평가 함수R을 극대화하는 것이 유리하나, 계산의 복잡성으로 예측성능과 추천유효성을 저해할 수 있어 구성변수의 증가와 추천 성능을 동시에 해결하는 것이 필요하다. 연구대상 음악동영상은 일반 영상과 달리 오디오 정보와 시선 정보를 싱크하여 감정의 흐름을 추론한다. 실험 대상자는 사용자가 선호할 것으로 예상되는 음악동영상을 추론하기 위하여 대학생으로 한정한다.

This research focus on analyzing the quality of clothing product in view of consumer's sensibility trend with a emphasis on measuring objective quality of pruduct. The fuzzy logic-based multi attribute model has been developed in order to evaluate the quality of clothing product. The overall quality of a clothing products can be divided into two distinct terms, product quality and brand value. Those two values are further analyzed with a relation to human sensibility.

The regression analysis and Adaptive -Network based Fuzzy-inference system (ANFIS) were applied to the explanation on human's visual texture of cotton fabrics with 7 mechanical properties. The ANFIS uses the structure with fuzzy membership function and neural network. The results obtained by the statistical analysis through the coefficient of correlation and regression analysis showed that subjective texture had a linear relationship with mechanical properties. But It had a relatively low coefficient of determination and was difficult that the statistical analysis explained other relationship with the exception of a lineality and interaction among mechanical properties. Comparing the statistical analysis, the ANFIS was an effective tool to explain human's non-linear perceptions and their interactions. But to apply ANFIS to human's perceptions more effectively, it is necessary to discriminate effective input variables through controlling the properties of samples.

Utilizing the Arduino platform to express the emotions that reflect the colors expressed the jewelry. Emotional color expression utilizes Plutchik's Wheel of Emotions model was applied to the similarity of emotions and colors. It receives the recognized value from the temperature, lighting, sound, pulse sensor and gyro sensor of a smart jewelery that can be easily accessible from your smartphone processes that recognize and process the emotion applied the rules of inference based on ontology. The emotional feelings color depending on the color looking for the emotion seen in context and applied to the smart LED jewelry. The emotion and the color combination of contextual information extracted from the recognition sensors are reflected in the built-in smart LED Jewelry depending on the emotions of the wearer. Take a light plus the emotion in a smart jewelery can represent the emotions of the situation, the doctor will be able to be a tool of representation.

인공지능분야에서의 온톨로지란 기본적인 개념의 규정과 개념들 사이의 관계를 표현한 용어들의 분류(classification)를 의미한다. 온톨로지를 만들기 위해서는 많은 온톨로지 관련 언어가 있다. 그 중 최근의 연구 방향은 DAML+OIL과 OWL로 작성된 온톨로지를 이용한 추론, 인텔리전트 서비스 분야이다. 본 논문에서는 웹 상의 미술 작품 온톨로지에 대해 기존의 키워드 매칭 검색 대신에 추론엔진을 이용한 시맨틱 기반의 확장된 검색 방법을 소개한다. 향후 연구는 퍼지 개념을 도입하여 기존의 결과 보다 정확한 검색 결과를 얻기 위한 연구를 할 것이다.
